This hotel was dirty and not maintained well. There were no fitted sheets on the bed. Not enough towels they charged a pet fee which I could only pay in cash. The whole place smelled like cigarettes and curry. The pool was nice.

I requested a Non-Smoking Room. Cigarette smoke and cigar smoke hung heavy in the hallways plus there was an ashtray next to the bed. When I called to complain at the front desk the person just removed the ashtray. I will never stay there again. I go to that area several times per year.

We were so tired and it was the only place that would take pets so we didn't have much choice. The staff were very rude, talking on the phone for 5 minutes on a personal call before helping me. When I asked to have a conditioner for the shower because there was only shampoo, the front desk clerk said,"You people get what you get. " Really? I had to […] go across the street to the gas station to buy some. The shower curtain had mold all over it and the towels smelled iffy. I do not recommend this place at all. The girls really enjoyed the warm indoor pool, and breakfast was adequate. However, plumbing was a problem while we were there. There was a pump truck in the parking lot, pumping drainage from a ditch on the property, and my daughters' room's toilet backed up. The hotel area seemed to be suffering from some drainage issues; and pump truck was out in the parking lot, surrounded by a fetid puddle. There was only one bar of soap in our room and none in my daughters' room. There was also only one bath towel for my wife and me to share. Tub did not drain very well; towel rack was loose; sometimes the outside knob did not lock. Pool and hot tub were great. Coffee was a little weak but room comfort was great. Good Wi-Fi connection.

It was a older Days Inn,the room needed alot of up dating. In fact the whole Inn needed remodeling. The bed was not very comfortable at all and the bathroom was in need of new wallpaper etc..In all I would not go there again.

Room wasn't that clean. Peeling wall paper. Only room available was smoking room and couldn't stand the smell when we walked in. Breakfast (or lack there of) was terrible -- we ended up going to McDonalds. Not worth the $$$.

As I am finding with most Days Inn, this hotel desperately needs updating. Bathrooms chipped and stained, mirrors film-coated, smelled of smoke in hall ways, pool sides disintegrating into pool. Breakfast consists of grocery store muffins, bagels and two cereals - at least the milk was fresh. This stay was worth maybe half of what we paid.

For the price of the room it wasn't too bad. Got a king size (bed) room just to crash, and believe me the only thing king sized is the bed. Were located right next to the elevator so it cut into the room and made it feel like being shoved into a closet. A very comfortable place to stay for a few nights with a modest price. The employees were cheerful and helpful. The indoor pool and hot tub was a nice addition. I was about 15 minutes from Illinois State University where I was on business. The location was ideal.
