After paying top dollar for a room for 2 nights, we were very disappointed to find the pillow cases were dirty. The shower curtain was not clean either. Then, during the entire night, the heat kept kicking on and off (loud enough to wake us up). In the morning, there was so much condensation on the window that it had dripped all over our things. In the center of the ceiling (over the beds) was a patch job that was not too well done. The people at the desk were extremely fiendly though. I would not stay there for that kind of money again.

I understand this is a Fairfield BY Marriott but the name Marriott goes a long way with me. This hotel was less than average. The room smelled damp and wet and mildewy, the brackets for the shower were cracked and broken, the handle on the dresser was missing, and the sheets and bedding were ragged looking. It WAS very clean though but breakfast was another mess. 150 people trying to get breakfast and eat in a small room with just five tables. Lines for toast...it was just chaotic. I would not stay here again.

I am not happy about tyhe apearence and cleanliness of this hotel and the room. The rooms need improvement, The room smells. but the staff were great and the breakfast was incredible. I like the hotel because of that.

We've stayed in Bangor several times on our way home from trips to Nova Scotia. I still haven't found a hotel I would stay at a second time. I expected the rooms to be more up to date. The worst thing was the air conditioning unit that took up as much space as the desk. It was filthy. Gave me an uneasy feeling about the rest of the room's cleanliness.

My problems with this hotel are minimal. The beds were too soft for me, but that might be a plus in someone else's opinion. The person who was supplying the food for the complimentary breakfast was not able to keep up with the Saturday morning demand although she was trying very hard.

There is nothing like being able to go for a swim in Maine in February. I love the regal style of the hotel, and it is my daughters favorite. The noon check out time gave the kids the chance to go for one more swim before checkout. We got a discount coupon for a local restaurant, and the staff were polite and helpful. My daughter loves the waffle maker..the continental breakfast that they offer is much more than doughnuts and muffins. Hot food or cold, the variety is wonderful. I would recommend the Fairfield to everyone.

VERY FRIENDLY PERSON AT THE DESK. ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. WE ONLY STAYED ONE NIGHT BUT WE WOULD DEFINITLY STAY AGAIN.

Hotel was nice, very clean but on the pricy side for being so basic. The pool was very nice, the kids really enjoyed it. Most importantly though, it was clean!

The stay at the hotel was fine. Thought it was a little pricy for how basic it was. The fitness room was really tiny but the pool area was nice. Overall, the room was clean and the breakfast was decent.

we spent alot mor on this hotel compared to others right down the road, little disapointed with cleanliness bed looked slept in so we asked for new sheets, but other than that it was fine.

Hotel met my expectations. Lobby was updated and they have a continental breakfast which was convenient. Service was very good. The only thing disappointing was a small odor in the room. I requested a non smoking room, however might have been a smoker room previously.

I stayed here on business for a couple of days I never received a bill (just a paid in full-no amount statement) and when I called the hotel so that I could get a copy e-mailed to me, it never came. Service was not the best.

Hotel did not provide shampoo/conditioner nor did it provide body lotion. Also, we were provided with only one washcloth in our room that we booked for two people.
