"Just an overnight stay"

"Better than expected"

"Not great, not really bad."
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and the room was clean, but those were the only pluses. The bed, furniture, bedding, linens, towels, decor, and tv were very dated and worn. The bathroom door was rusty and painted over, the room smelled strongly of Febreeze and a little of cigarette smoke (it was supposed to a non-smoking room), there was […] a patched hole in the bathtub, the shower head was pretty weak, and the complimentary breakfast consisted of oatmeal cream pies, and prepackaged honey buns. The hotel is typical for a highway roadside hotel. Kind of run down, but the shower is hot and the bed is soft. Absolutely the worst breakfast ever, but there is a Cracker Barrel across the road. For the price, I couldnt ask for much more....but is it really too hard to turn on the AC and plug in the fridge. We booked the room in advance and when we arrived the AC had been cut off and nothing was plugged in, and it took SO LONG for everything to cool down. other than first door wouldn't read card and had to get another room, when I first got into room it was so hot even late at night that it took a while to cool down but finally did.
