We wanted a fair price at a hotel with a pool, so we booked at Roosevelt Inn & Suites. The Inn is beautiful, located fairly close to the downtown. Saratoga Springs is an interesting, historical area. Unfortunately, when we arrived we were informed that the pool and spa were 'out of order' and they would not be repaired until the following week, after we had left. The front desk clerk rather rudely informed me that we should 'feel free' to leave and look for another hotel with a pool. She stated she had begun to call people to inform them of this problem - obviously I had not been called. She further informed me that the previous owners did not even allow children! It was late, we were tired, so we chose to stay. I was told I 'could speak to the manager' the next day but the clerk doubted my problem could be resolved since I had already received a 'very good rate'! She advised me to contact hotels.com. On the positive side, one of our rooms was upgraded to a really nice Junior suite, with 2 rooms and a jacuzzi. Our other reservation was a fabulous suite, with a soaking tub, stand alone shower and full kitchen. I chose not to speak with the manager. My only other complaint was the bed in the bigger suite - it really needs a new mattress. We will return to Saratoga Springs and will consider staying at Roosevelt Inn again.

Staff was polite and helpful as we were traveling with 2 teenagers we definitely needed more towels than the avg. This request was handled quick and easy. The room was clean and bathroom roomy. The beds also clean and fresh smelling. The hotel was older but updated with a flat screen TV with full cable available. Comfortable, classy, spacious feeling room for the price. Pool was nice, though a bit chilly....more of a swimming than lounging temperature, but not really room for swimming. Would have liked a basic continental breakfast option as opposed to full order restaurant, though restaurant prices seemed reasonable from the special board.

Truly, I wasn't expecting much for the price - I was just looking for a place to lay my head for the night. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the bathroom; I have stayed in much more expensive hotels that were not as clean. The pillows and bed were comfortable as well.

I stayed here for Presidents Day weekend with my husband and young children. It definitely deserves more than 2 stars!! Our room was very clean and looked like it had been recently updated (flat screen tv, modern bathroom.) The beds were comfortable and there was ample space. We had no issues with noise but our friends staying on the upper floor said […] they could hear everything from the next room. We used the pool and it was clean. There was also a decent sized carpeted area by the pool that gave our little ones some area to run/play. We didn't use the hotel restaurant as there were many places near by. The drive into Lake George Village was less than 10 minutes and there is a ski/snow tubing center about 5 minutes away. Overall we were very pleased and would recommend this hotel. Read more

I couldn't beat the price of this hotel. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the only food on site was from the restaurant, which was expensive. Other than that it was great. The room was perfect for two of us, the pool area was huge, and the people at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful.

Generally very comfortable , but we had to keep turning the heat on and off because when ON, it got too hot eventually, no matter how it was adjusted, and when off, if got too cold. Pool was very nice although walkway to it was extremely cold.

Satff was very good. Hotel had booked at the same time a girls hockey team playing at the civic center. They were very disrubtive without obvious parental control.Hotel staff took care of immediately. Will likely stay again .

Tucked away, this was a great hotel for the Christmas shopping season. Close to all in Glens Falls and the outlets. Shower was very loud but that is a easy fix. Will definitely return.

We had a great room location as we didn't want a lot of steps. Room was adequate but quite dated. Bathroom was a bit congested as you had to step to the side to be able to close the door to access the sink. Could use a brightening up. the only complaint I have is my cell phone had very weak and sometimes no signal at all inside the hotel. That bothered me a lot because the signal was very strong once I stepped outside the building. Beside the signal thing I enjoyed my staying.

Convenient to Saratoga, shopping and entertainment. We were on the "quiet" side of the motel. Traffic noise could be a problem if on the side near the highway.

Excellent service by staff, but our room in desparate need of maintenance and repairs which front desk staff simply waived away upon departure. Wallpaper peeling and water/mold issues on ceiling, very dated room. I feel we paid too much.

Hotel clean well located with a friendly staff.No real sun deck outside the poo Gym totally inadequate. A small room, only a bicycle and a treadmill no weights or machines. TV did not work.
