My daughter and I stayed at the Residence Inn downtown Montreal and had a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice. The location was perfect for all that we had planned. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because the beds were just awful. They seemed old, hard and just plain uncomfortable. I would recommend staying here, but would ask for a room with new beds.

Visited Montreal with my family (wife, 9 and 8 yo kids). Concierge service was prompt. Room was plenty spacious for us. Location was ideal downtown. Excercise room is more than you get at most hotels. Only slights are pool and breakfast are very average. Not bad, just average. We would certainly stay here again. And hope to.

I went to Montreal for a Canadiens game and this hotel is within walking distance of the Bell Centre. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, pointing out great eateries tourist attractions.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was super clean with flat screen TV, no odor, and conveniently located near a mall with eateries. However for tourist attractions it is a bit far but by car it's about 20 minutes but with traffic during regular week day - almost 45 minutes. I absolutely enjoyed my stay. This is an excellent hotel if you are looking for a quiet place with nothing fancy. The room was clean and tidy. It's probably time for a bit of a building refresh and a coat of paint, but nevertheless, it still is a nice comfortable hotel. The restaurant is excellent too.

It would not have been my first choice but given our destination it was the best in the area. The mattress squeak and quite frankly were slumping in the middle. They should be replaced.

The room was very dirty when I arrived. Toilet seat had to be cleaned. There were earings cover in dust, used cleanex and chips all on hte floor by the night stand. Menu had something on it. There was long hair in the sheets and I have short so it was not mine.

Très mal entretenu (brulures de cigarette sur les tapis, bain, enfin presque partout) pour le prix j'ai pas vu pire en ce moment. Très bruyant dans les couloirs.

The hotel is old. It's quite far away from downtown, abt 20 minutes drive. But the staffs in the front desk are friendly and willing to help when there are problems.

Nous avions pris cet hôtel un peu en désespoir de cause car tout était plein en centre ville du fait du grand prix de formule. Cet hôtel est une chaîne certes mais nous avons été agréablement surpris car le service y est de grand qualité et le personnel très bien formé. Le centre vile est en fait accessible rapidement en bus et en métro. l'arrêt de […] bus se situe au pied de l'hôtel. On peut se rendre rapidement au jardin botanique et au parc olympique. Read more
