Wireless Wifi does not work. I complained numerous times and didn't get anywhere. You can hear everything in the rooms-- every time somebody closes a door or flushes the toilet you will hear it. "Great location and good price"
Stayed two nights. Their staff was nice and a lot of amenities. Great hotel for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The breakfast was ample, though not really tasty. However, I have no other complaints. I was impressed with the hotel, especially the hotel staff.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Pretty good facility. Hotel staffs are nice. Breakfast room is small and crowed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent downtown alternative"
This hotel provides all the basic services plus free WiFi and free breakfast, for a price that is as little as half of the glitzier downtown hotels. Yes, it is an extra 4-5 blocks away from the old city and other tourist destinations, but it's a quick walk. Clean and functional room, good breakfast starting at 6 AM. Not a bad location, either; 20 minute walk from the convention center, not bad.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel for business travel"
Hotel was comfortable during the stay. Spent most of the days out and about, so really just used the hotel for sleeping and breakfast. Front desk staff were great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"One Night Conference Trip"
The ONLY reason that I'm not giving the hotel five stars overall is because when I booked, I chose a standard room with two double beds and a rollaway bed. Apparently in double rooms another bed violates fire code. This ultimately wasn't a big deal but I wish that information would have been clearly posted online. Other than that our stay was excellent. "Nice downtown hotel"
This is a decent hotel in a good downtown location. Walikng distance to many of Toronto's attractions. Room was comfortable and well maintained. Good free breakfast although breakfast room did get crowded. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice for concerts"
Stayed with the family, went to concert at air Canada it was only a 15minute walk. Parking right on site was nice for 20$,not bad for Toronto. Breakfast was good and being included with the room was a great bonus. Would stay againGenuine Expedia guest review
"Decent central hotel"
Did not sleep alot. Doors were slamming all night long. I think the walls are thin and the autoclosures on the doors are very strong causing every closure to be a slam.Genuine Expedia guest review

Great location, close to several restaurants, bar/pubs, grocery store. Breakfast has good variety. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi internet keeps asking for password, but works fine. No complaints.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Just off Yonge"
Very good hotel...read other reviews and was concerned about some of the comments. Two blocks off yonge and 10 minute walk to Hard Rock Cafe. Two blocks from St. Lawrence Market.. The location is right off of the King St Street Car route so that makes it nice. However, it has the slowest elevator ever. We waited more than 7 minutes once. We were on the 10th floor so we had to wait every time. We took the stairs down once but there. "Quick walk to downtown"
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the subway, Financial District and shopping (including the Eaton Centre). It's about 5 minutes from the St Lawrence Market and good restaurants. The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast (included in the room rate) is good but the breakfast room itself tended to be crowded; it was sometimes […] hard to find a table. The room was quiet, and the double-paned windows kept out any street noise. Overall, good value for the money. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to The Sound Academy"
The hotel was a short drive from The Sound Academy, as we stayed overnight after attending a concert there. The hotel also offered in and out privileges so we did not get charged extra for leaving and returning before and after the concert which was a bonus. The room was very clean and all the employees were very friendly and helpful. The air in the […] hotel was super dry, and made it difficult to sleep. Two of the three ice machines were out of order. The breakfast was generic reheated food and nothing special. The hotel provided a cheap place to stay close to the concert and fulfilled my expectations. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Reliable Stay Downtown"
My stay was very comfortable with the quality of your typical Holiday Inn Express. The staff both during checkin and checkout were extremely kind and helpful. They reminded me that I get a free bottle of water in my room for being a priority card member. At checkout, he asked if I needed airport transportation and arranged it seamlessly without me having […] to ask. The breakfast in the morning was great, although the line could get a little long during the peak times. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. "Nice-Convenient-But Paper Thin Walls"
the walls are too thin. I heard people in the next room talking for over an hour and they weren't shouting. Why do you insist in putting your guests next to each other when you could very easily spread them out separted by an unoccupied room?Genuine Expedia guest review

"Walking distance to many different attractions."
The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The wireless internet speed was acceptable. The breakfast was decent. Only negative is the community computer in the lobby was terrible. "Excellent City.. and Hotel"
We had never been to Toronto before and this hotel was right off King street, which is convenient. Other reveiws did indicate that a shelter of somekind was across street, but we rarely saw it, as it is on the back side of the hotel. there is a cute courtyard entrence on the other side where the lobby is. We easily walked everywhere from our hotel. […] there were plenty of tube stops near us. we didnt take them, so cant say anythig about trains, trollies or the tube. our hotel room was nice, clean and staff was courtious. complimentary breakfast was perfect for us. the greyline Niagra Falls tour picked us up in the lobby of our hotel. it was perfect in every way. my husband and I will def. come back if we go to Tornto again. what a nice clean city!!! We were allotted a room with a view. The hotel is very fair sized for a downtown location. Great location, close to a lot of sites. Would stay here again. Parking is extra but that is a given in any downtown hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"On the cheap side - figuratively"
After being swept off our feet at the HIE of Savannah, we kinda expected the same happy surprise at Toronto. Alas, that was not to be. The staff was super friendly and helpful, but the room was only OK (no safe, no minibar, for those of you with luxury tastes), the bathroom was convenient if a little plasticky, and the breakfast (included) was underwhelming. "not all it is cracked up to be"
Overall I was not pleased with this stay. The rooms are run down, there are no tissues in the room, and all of the towels were dirty. I requested clean ones and they never came so I had to take them off the cart in the hallway. The wifi was spotty. The location was also on the far east end of the city and although I walked everywhere, the surrounding […] blocks are a little sketchy. I was told there was a pool here and there was not. For half the price, in the same hotel chain a few nights earlier, I got a penthouse suite with a jacuzzi. Everything in this room is very outdated, including a tube tv with about 14 channels. Everything was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is starting to look a little dated and worn and the pull out sofa bed was very uncomfortable. But the staff were all pleasant and helpful and the room was clean. The included breakfast was OK - several choices, but bland - pretty much what you would expect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"You get what you pay for!"
The room was tiny. It was difficult to move between one of the beds and the entertainment system (which looked like it had been pieced together from other bits of cabinetry and closets). The room was on the second floor so if felt like all of the cars and trucks passing by were driving through the room. We asked to move and were told that they were […] at capacity, but we could leave our luggage outside of the door and they would relocate us (how exactly was that supposed to work?). The shower was AWFUL!!! There was no pressure of any significance coming out of the shower head. Terrible! On the bright side, the room was pretty cheap. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice Hotel, but Remote"
The hotel was clean, modern and well-maintained. The free hot breakfast was great! However, the breakfast ended so early that everyone got there at the same time and there wasn't enough seating. Also, the parking was steep at $20 CAD per night. The hotel was not located near any attractions, despite what the description states. There is a 10-12 block […] walk to CN Tower. The hotel was not really close to anything if you're visiting for the first time. There are other hotels in the city in better locations that will offer a better value. "Prepaid and Prayed."
The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. We got into town late and as I was checking in the clerk told me the garage was full. Apparently there are not enough spots for all guests and it is first come first serve. I was traveling with my wife and two kids (4yrs. and 8MOs). I made it known that was not spelled out in my reservation and it was […] going to be extremely difficult to manage parking at an alternate garage or on the street with two kids in tow. By the time I had my luggage unloaded and came walking back into the lobby, the clerk informed me he had a spot for me and I would have one our entire visit. I noticed the spot the parking attendant directed me to when I pulled in was reserved. The clerk had someone, staff or otherwise, move their vehicle to accommodate my family’s needs. I couldn’t have been happier. Each and every time I had a request at the front desk the staff was friendly and accommodating. They have a full hot breakfast that is one of the best free breakfast offerings I have found. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families traveling to Toronto and looking to stay in a reasonably priced, clean, hotel located downtown. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great downtown hotel"
This hotel was well worth the cost and the location to so many downtown events is nice. The only negative is that it seemed to be across the street from a shelter type location so at night there was a small amount of traffic in that location but it didn't seem to be a problem since there were many people out since Toronto has an active night life. "Heart of St. Lawrence Neighborhood"
The hotel front desk was extremely helpful and the complimentary breakfast is a great way to start the day. They do not skimp on the eggs, bacon, sausage, muffins, pancakes, yogurt, bagels and more! The hotel is also great because it's within walking distance to the St. Lawrence Market, Eaton Center and if you're up for it, the Distillery District. […] Be aware, however, that there is a Salvation Army Shelter across the street. The downside was that our room wasn't cleaned to our liking. Garbage from previous guests were in the drawers, the carpet was stained in several places and we didn't feel comfortable sitting on the chair. Also, after we came back from hanging out all day, some of the garbage had been left behind in the trash can and strands of hair had been left on the bathtub walls. "Great price in a good location"
This hotel has a good combination of price/location, as in it's a good price and the location is on the eastern edge of the downtown city center so everything is easily accessible via walking or subway. My only problem was that they charged me for the water in the room even though I didn't open it, but I think the cleaning staff just assumed I did […] because I left another bottle out that I had bought elsewhere. It wasn't a problem though because they took it off my bill with no problem. The only people that may not like this hotel are groups of four or more. We were a group of three and the room had one King bed and a sofa bed that was only big enough for one person. They didn't seem capable of giving us a room with two queen beds, but I really don't know for sure if they have any like that or not. Also, we didn't have a car so I have no idea how parking is. "Very good hotel -- I'd stay again."
Loved the fact that this hotel had a hot breakfast with many choices. My only recommendation is to get to the breakfast room on the early end because it gets quite crowded later on (however, they do replenish the food throughout). The coffee was delicious. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. "Pets allowed but"
One of the reasons why we stayed here was because they said they were pet friendly. When we got there they said that you can have your pet but you can't leave the room without the pet. Most eating establishments don't allow dogs. How were we suppose to eat out? This rule is absurd.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
