I was pleasantly surprised. The beds were very comfortable. I forgot my pillow and actually liked theirs. That's a big deal for me. The rooms are very spacious.

Hotel was exactly what was advertised. (That doesn't happen very often). My only complaints are the slooooow elevator and no ice machines on every floor, otherwise, would stay here again.

I travel with two children and a toddler, this was a great place to stay and it was confortable. good deal for the money and the convenience to be right off the freeway, right on the way to six flags..so good :)

Affordable as well! My sister and I stayed for a night and it was fantastic. Really nice furnishings and overall set up. The breakfast area was a little small and when the toast burnt from a child.. I couldn't stay in there very long.

this hotel was awesome, for the price it is well worth every penny. luxurious looking and super comfortable. its a little outside of sa but that wasnt a big deal. totally recommend to everybody.

This hotel was really nice for the money. The room was very spacious and well insulated from other rooms. The location is in the mix of everything needed. The only negative thing I can think of was that the wonderful smell that you experience in the lobby and hallways, did not carry into the room. The room had a kind of musty smell but tolerable. The employees were very polite, and helpful. Overall I would definitely stay there again.

A very nice hotel for the price. Very clean, rooms were large, and bed comfortable. Decor was hip and modern which I liked. Unfortunately the room I was assigned was near the kitchen and the crew in the morning were noisy. I was there two night and unable to switch due to availability...so I was told. I'm not sure I would stay there again for that reason.

We had an option to stay at another hotel for 15 dollars cheaper per night but the cleanliness, accommodations and friendly professional staff were worth the extra cost. Our second visit a year later was just as great as the first so you can add consistent standards.

I woke up late, after the continental breakfast was being served. When I saw a hostess she still went and got some food for me. she was very helpful and considerate.

I found this hotel outstanding for the money I paid. I particularly liked the cleaness and the layout of the room. I would like to see a bigger space for the breakfast area. There was a lot of people in a small room.

We loved it! It was very neat, well kept, and the staff was great. We had stayed in a Hyatt in Dallas before and love it so decided to try the one in San Antonio. It was great to expect the same service and actually recieve it. Everything was neat and tidy. The breakfast was good. Our room was clean all three days we were there. We would recommend this hotal to anyone. Our kids loved the pool. It had a lot of chlorine in it, but better to much than not enough. :) Definitly worth the money!

It was a quiet hotel with great ammenities. It had very beautiful rooms and comfy beds. Everything was perfectly clean and tidy. The price was a bit high but it was great.

The management has some houskeeping issues to resolve. They stole something from our room and blew off our problem when it was reported. The night staff did not even attempt to resolve the issue. I would not and will not ever stay or recommend this hotel to anyone coming to San Antonio.

This was our first time staying at Hyatt Place. The hotel was very clean. The service was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel to my friends. Additionally, we will definitely be staying in the hotel again.

There was a lot of room & easy to find in the city too. Very nice! Great for a family.

Not only was the staff kind and helpful, the rooms were huge and well-cleaned. The contemporary decor throughout was a lovely touch. No detail was overlooked!

Loved the location - it sat off the main road and gave us a sense of quietness and serenity during our stay.

This hotel was FANTASTIC!!!! We were traveling with our 4 SMALL children and we had TONS of space in this room. The staff certainly didn't go out of their way to be friendly but since I checked in at the kiosk and checked out at the kiosk I was able to avoid them. The room was CLEAN and everything looked new. I was VERY happy with my stay here!

We really loved the hotel it was a family vacation, there were 13 of us so the continental brakfast was very important. Somewhere I read HOT continental breakfast, unfortunatley the only thing hot was the toast. There was limited fruit, cereal and bread. I expected alittle more since it said HOT breakfast. Over all I would definatley stay again. TF

Our stay was nice and the price was reasonable. The breakfast was good, but don't expect a hot breakfast. Plenty of fruit, cereal, and bagels though. The room was clean, though I noticed that our trash was not emptied on our second day. Not a big deal as there was only some paper, but I was surprised. Our smoke alarm was hanging off the wall by the wire and I had to fight with the closet door as it was off-track. I put it back on track, but shouldn't have had to do that at all. Overall, the room was OK. The staff was friendly and helpful. Access was easy once we figured out that the street name had changed. Our GPS knew the street as "AmeriSuites drive" instead of "Hyatt Place". Access to and from the Interstate was easy. The hotel was equally far from our destinations. It was about 15 to 20 minutes from the hotel to Sea World, Alamo, Riverwalk, and San Antonio Zoo. Wireless Internet access worked and the signal in my room was strong. We were able to watch a NetFlix streaming video without trouble. I really like the connection panel on the TV in the room. Hyatt has an easy-to-reach connection panel on the side of the TV stand. This made it trivially easy to connect my laptop (via my own VGA and audio cables) to the TV so we could watch the above-mentioned NetFlix streaming movie on the big TV. It would be equally easy to hook up a portable DVD player or a gaming console if you desired. I would stay here again.

If only our entire trip to San Antonio worked out as well as the hotel! Can't say much for the surrounding area, as our rental car had been broken into shortly before we were going to be checking in. Needless to say, the staff at this hotel was so accommodating, considering the circumstances, making a point to tell us about the computers available as well as anything else that was appropriate to our situation. The room was beautiful, modern and well appointed. Linens were fresh and tidy. We are still just thrilled that we had booked a room HERE, versus elsewhere. If you need airport transportation, they do not have shuttle service, but will get a taxi for you. (And they're great, too!) Don't hesitate. This place is a find!

The rooms were very big and clean my kids had plenty of room. The staff was very nice and the bonus was the Starbuck coffe for my husband. We will stay again.

I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. It would help if the room would also have a microwave. Other than that the rooms are awesome.

I had a sufficient stay at the hotel. There were only a couple of things I noticed. It took me a bit to figure how to turn the tv on. Also when I walked in it smelled like wet rag, but it went away. Another thing was that some of the stuff was unplugged! Didn't like that too much. Other than that it was a comfy stay after I figured that stuff out.

The hotel was very very nice, with a new look that we really loved. Plus they used sheets to cover the blankets which was just great. They also have big screen tv's in the rooms. We certainly would return.

We just stayed one night but it was very comfortable. My son enjoyed the big screen tv.

Hotel exceeded our expectations. As we walk in, the lobby was clean and well furnished. The hotel staff was more than nice and catered to our every need with a smile. The pool was clear and blue as every pool should be. The location of the hotel was nice with a few sit-down restaurants only a one to two minute walk away. The rooms were spacious. One night there were seven people in one room, all who slept comfortably and well. The HDTV was a nice addition seeing that we were all March Madness fans. There were very easily accessible plug-ins from the side of the entertainment center which allowed me to connect my laptop for easy movie viewing. The bathrooms were kept very clean and sanitized. The wet bar was nice, seeing that we used it as a secondary mirror and sink to get ready in. Nothing anywhere in the whole building gave an appeal as if this were just another hotel. Hands down the best hotel I have stayed in and will find any and every excuse to stay there when I travel to the area again.

Aside that the food there is pricy and the quality is unsatisfactory, there is no room to sit and have your meal. There is no room service, so if you want anything, you have to go the front desk and buy it there, wait for it then take it to your room.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place for the first time and we loved it. I didn't expect the room to actually look like the pictures online, but it did. Next time we're in San Antonio (or any other place) we will definitely be staying at the Hyatt.

Positives: Very nice, clean hotel, with numerous restaurants nearby, several barely out of the driveway within walking distance. Negatives: May have been difficult getting to our hotel had we not had a GPS. Snob Factor: We are hotel "snobs" and this met my "standards!" I would stay here not only for traveling from point A to point B, but also for a several night stay. In fact, we were so impressed that we make a point of considering Hyatt Places whenever booking reservations, although prices vary quite a bit from place to place.

The hotel was extremely nice and the area surrounding the hotel as well. I would definetely stay again.

I was truly amazed at the room when I got there. It was nice and very roomy. I enjoyed being able to sit on the sofa and watch tv rather than being lazy an lie in the bed. I did not spend a lot of time in the room but the time that I did spend was enjoyable. I will be planning another trip soon and will look for a Hyatt in whatever area I am going to stay in.

We stay at this hotel because we were going to Fiesta Texas and it was sooo close, we loved this hotel. The staff was very helpful, the price was great, we would definitely stay here again.
