we were a little disappointment when we couldn't leave our car there...that needs to be an oppion when booking on the internet....and I got over charged $18 on my credit card...but if we ever fly out of Des Moine again we will stay at the Comfort Inn

"One major drawback"

While the room was great, the walls were thin and you could hear every movement and door closing at all hours. I would not stay at this hotel again.

The desk help was terriffic cant remember her name but she was there when we checked in at night and there when we left @ 10:30am and any question about shops we needed or a convience she had the answer. Thank you so much

"Pool to small"

The pool is way small and the hot tub is much to small you get about eight people in pool and its full and two people in the hot tub. Beds very soft and you get four pillows on each bed, bathroom very small. For what i paid it wasnt worth it.

It's clean, the rooms are big, the beds are comfortable, and it's literally only 2 minutes from the airport with a free shuttle. If you want simple, cheap, and convenient then this is your place.

Good choice for a place to be a base for seeing city of flying out,,,,,,,,,,,probably not a place to hold a family gathering or enjoy a family weekend if just staying at motel

Liked the four pillows on the bed since we are readers. The decoration was tasteful. The hotel was central to where we wanted to be. Employees we dealt with smiled and quickly checked us in and out. Since we were there only to sleep, we were pleasantly surprised at the lack of noise from the airport, the pipes, and the hallways.

My sister and I were in town for the Des Moines Marathon and really only needed a place to sleep. We choose this hotel bacically because of the price and weren't looking for anything fancy. I was impressed as soon as we entered the lobby...it smelled wonderful and the desk staff were really friendly. My sister was thrilled that there were four pillows on each bed. Even though we were only in our room long enough to sleep and change clothes I will probably stay here the next time I am in Des Moines.

As my flight was very early in the morning, the only complaint that I had was hearing people walk above me. Other than this, the hotel was very convenient and the staff were very friendly.

The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was good. There is no elevator and we were on the 3rd floor - but TG we are healthy. The pool is small. Overall the hotel was fine since we were really using it to sleep.

very disorganized,1st room tv didn,t work,2nd room air condioning was not working properly. Our hotel key/card was deactivated twice. The pop and ice machine was out. They only had 1 machine for the whole hotel. We had a smoking room and requested ash trays for 2 days. Finally the desk clerk,on the second night found one. When the maids came in the morning, they didn,t leave us any towels, or refill the coffee pouches we used.

For the price, it was ok. Did have a nice pool for the kids to swim in. Was not impressed with the cleanliness of the hallways and stairs. We also stayed on the lower level and the room had a musty smell to it.
