"Thanksgiving stay"
Stayed over Thanksgiving to visit family. Room is average, maybe a little small by US standards, no safe or fridge. Bed is king-size and comfortable. Bath area is large but sink are is small (one person only). Room not made up on Thanksgiving day because we got out of the room late but they did provide another set of towels when asked. Staff is very friendly and helpful; ice machine on our floor was not working and they had someone looking at it within minutes (still not fixed the next day however).

"Overall good stay!"
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The extra money for free breakfast is worth it as at regular price you're better off going to an IHOP for better food at the same price. And remember its for 2 adults and two children so if you have 4 adults two will be eating off the children's menu. They really should have it be dependent on who you say will be visiting. 4 adults means 4 adults, not 2 and 2 kids. Maybe up the price a little to compensate? Other than that it was a fine hotel.

"Okay stay, AC is very noisy"
The AC unit is as loud as a train. Couldn't fall asleep with the unit going on and off. The soundproof of the room door is poor. Could hear people in other rooms close their doors and they were not slamming the door. One of the service staff at the front desk was not very nice. The neighborhood is nice and the room is clean. For the price, it is not a bad deal.

The bed was very comfortable and maid service was excellent. This room was much more comfortable and well-kept than the last time I stayed here a couple of months ago. Enjoyed the lobby area although it was inconvenient to ring up purchases from the Bistro at the front desk. Nice location and great rate for two-night stay.

"I would stay here again."
I arrived at about 1:30AM and checked out about 8:30AM, so it was a very short stay. The value was very good as far as the room and facility are concerned. Everything was great with the single exception of Breakfast. At $10 extra per night, it's not a good value. At a restaurant is would be a $6.00 meal. It was also slow to arrive at the table. The quality, however, was very good.

"Good place"
The clerk running the desk on Saturday and Sunday morning, she was pretty much a grouch. The young man running the front desk at night (10/4) was very friendly and helpful. His boss needs to know what a great job he does! Clean hotel. The jacuzzi and pool were great. Had them to ourselves Saturday night and it was wonderful! Not super close to where we were visiting in KC, but that's our fault for waiting to the last minute to start looking for hotels.

"Not a second chance."
Rooms were filthy. Did not provide bedding for the hide away bed (which was asked for in advance). Staff only gave ME the oppurtunity to come get pillows & blankets. The mattresses still had crumbs from previous guests.

Great staff, clean and convenient to where we needed to be. Blow dryer, iron and board in room was a pleasant surprise. Paid the $10 extra for breakfast, great value. Excellent breakfast sandwich and juice for my wife and I. Nice that they packaged it to go so i could take it back to the room. Clean comfy room and a peaceful hotel stay. Highly recommend.

"Great Stay!!"
My husband and I were in town for a concert at Starlight Threatre and we wanted something close to the facility. This was perfect, as it was off the beaten path, as it seemed to be in a residential neighborhood. Great value and accommodations were great! Nice bistro to eat at, although the hours were a bit inconvenient. Staff were all very nice, except the lady when we checked out.....she was kind of rude. Otherwise, great stay!!

"Wonderful hotel!"
The bed was very comfortable and I wish I knew where they got those pillows! I have been looking for some soft pillows like the ones at the hotel and have been unable to find any. The rooms were clean and despite there were a lot of kids staying at the hotel it was not noisy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They only thing I wished they offered was a full service restaurant in the hotel or close by. The on-site bistro was okay but it didn't offer enough food choices. You had a couple of fast food places nearby but I would've love to have been able to sit down at a restaurant that offered more healthier choices. Other than this it was a wonderful stay.

"A pleasant place to stay"
I stayed 3 nights at hotel with my son. Our rooms were nice, big. The lobby was beautiful, big. Breakfast was very delicious, stroberries, french toasts, all kind of omlets. And they have Starbucks coffe there! But I don't reccomend to have dinner at the hotel, there are better places for diner nearby. Staff was friendly. I felt like at home. I will stay here again for the next visit.

The front desk representative needs to be aware of guests waiting at the front desk. I stood at the desk waiting for service for about 5 min the representative was at the opposite side of the room with a clear view of me waiting for assistant. But did not come to the desk to help me. She didn't even bother to say anything to me as I walked past her to take the elevator to my room. Very disappointing, since the hotel was not busy. Representative need to be proactive in providing coustomer service.

"Great stay"
Right at the kansas Missouri border and a 10 minute drive from downtown kc. Great value and in more of a residential neighborhood. Seems like a quiet area. Accommodations were great and round the clock starbucks is nice to have. Recommend highly if you need a short stopover and want to be somewhat away from city traffic.

"Good Clean Hotel"
Almost everything was great with the exception of 2 things. First, there was a stain on one of the comforters but the staff quickly changed it and they were very apologetic. The second issue is the room didn't have a microwave. You have to go to the lobby to find the nearest place to heat up any leftovers from a restaurant.

"it was average but not great"
The room was clean, bed made, furniture in good repair but it was just average. We had a single king sized bed with a loveseat and dresser. The dresser had room for a fridge in it which would have been nice but wasn't included. The biggest disappointment was the price for breakfast. Most hotels at this level now include something for breakfast but this hotel doesn't. They have a Starbucks for coffee and breakfast. While the food was okay, it was expensive. Another thing that I found surprising was the lack of towels in the pool and gym area. You can get them at the desk if you ask. I'm just not used to needing to ask for them. The hotel has some minor repair issues. Scuffed paint, burnt out bulbs, little damage areas around fixtures. It wasn't anything that created a health or safety risk, it was just a bit shoddy. The hotel isn't far away from gas and fast food. It's also close to the interstate. Like I said, it was average but not outstanding. I'd stay there again if I needed to but it wouldn't be my first choice of hotel.

"Really nice hotel"
Everything about this hotel is excellent. The staff is friendly and super helpful, and goes the extra mile. The room is clean and very comfortable. The hotel is in a very nice location, near the major highways.

"Quiet, secluded"
This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. It is well maintained inside and out. While close to I-435, you would never know you were in a metropolitan area.
