The room was nice and the bed was comfortable but the tv was almost falling off the wall. The bathroom door was stuck and it took two people pulling on it to close it. My husband and I wanted a place to stay the night while on our way back from a date night. I was looking for cheap rooms due to the fact it was just for a night. The hotel looks great from outside and when you first come in it is very nice. The problem I had was the second floor was being remodeled so more than 1/2 the rooms were not occupied. I arrived after dark and walked to the room with all empty rooms and was very uncomfortable. Being alone, I went to the front desk and mentioned my concern about being […] alone up there and she said there were 4 other rooms around me occupied. The room was nice and I was fine after I calmed down. Breakfast the next morning was great, and I would still consider staying here again due to great location, but I would not have stayed if I had not pre-payed for my room only because I was alone and it was a weird feeling, but I guess you get what you pay for, and it was a good price. The hotel was overall nice, but the climate control unit in my room was very loud. Like, wake you up out of deep sleep 5 times a night loud. I'm not sure if they are all like that or if the unit in my room was especially bad.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Red Lion. I had heard from others that the hotel was run down and not very nice. However, I was pleasantly surprised as my room had clearly been renovated recently. The one thing that others should be aware of when booking this hotel is that part of the hotel is more like a motel as they have some rooms with doors […] that open to the outside. We stayed here overnight while our 5th wheel was being serviced. The hotel met our expectations. The room was good size and clean. We liked the need to use a room key to activate the elevator. The mexican restaurant in the same parking lot was excellent.

Helpful and kind staff. The 3rd floor has an interior entrance to the rooms. The 1st & 2nd use outdoor balconies that enter to your room. The breakfast was adequate and there are plenty of restaurant options both within walking and driving distance. Great value for what they offer.

Hotel staff was helpful., I had inadvertently made my reservation for a day after the day i intended to stay. The Hotel Staff was great about working with expedia to gewt it corrected. Hotel was older, and it was difficult to get the heat to a comfortable tempurature. This was my first stay at a Red Lion and if every other hotel in their chain is like this one, they've got a new regular customer. Friendly staff, modern furnishings, great breakfast, 24/7 coffee bar, free wi-fi, easy and free parking, etc. If you twist my arm for anything negative, I'd say move the outdoor pool indoors and add a jacuzzi. Oh, and add […] 6" width to the clothes closet for easier access to my hanging garment bag. Other than those minor observations, you'll find this hotel a great home away from home. Read more

This is our second stay at the Red Lion because we have family in Sacramento. This stay was even better than our first stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a king bed with a little sitting area. There is free wi-fi and they also have a computer and printer in the lobby for guest use. The breakfast was better than most hotel breakfast. […] The scramble eggs actually looked liked real eggs. You could tell the bacon was pre-cooked however, the pork sausage and patty was very tasty. There was fresh fruit, waffles to make and a assortment of breads. The only negative was the room cleaning on the second night. The actual location of the hotel sits behind a McDonalds and a Mexican Restaurant so unless you know exactly where it is, it is easy to drive right by. The location was a little hard to find. Signage was not big enough. However, it was very clean, staff was cheerful and helpful. Delicious breakfast.

TV (flat screen) is a little on the small side, (but, I did not turn it on) Free Internet Wifi was good. Security access for the elevator makes me feel like I am safer, but, what about my car in the parking lot? No security issues though.I will stay there again.
