The room was fine, but the directions from the front desk to the room were inadequate. The language used by staff members in the breakfast area was inappropriate. F-bombs an finger signals should never be seen or heard by customers, especially in a family setting.

I think overall it was okay. It was in a great location and the breakfast was pretty good. The issues I had was the dog nect door barked all night long and they left fresh caulk on the sink and it ruined all of my toiletries. Otherwise you get what you paid for.

The hotel was clean and room was very good. Had everything we needed and in a good location. While not a five star place, it was a very good value for money spent. The only thing less than favorable was maybe a bit of traffic noise late at night as we were on teh second level near the hotel entrance.

Staff very friendly. Got to my room and the top lock was broke off an deadly would not secure. Being a 30 yr old single mother with 2 girls 9 and 2. I didn't feel secure so I let the front desk know. So I told the front desk I didn't feel safe without the extra locks, she said they had another room an so We moved rooms but I walk into the new room its freezing cold I turn the heat up more it still is cold called the front desk again they offered an extra blanket them an electric heater, We all three slept in one bed used the extra blankets off the other bed turned the heat light on in the bathroom for thirty minutes an were fine. Also the wifi would connect an ten seconds later would go off. My 9yr old did not like that at all. So besides the good staff my stay was not very good. I probably won't do that again. Hotel was fine for an overnight, but had it been more than me and my son we would have switched hotels. Hotel was not the cleanest, and the cable quit working about 30 minutes after our arrival. Had we not had a very early morning flight we would have switched hotels. Not up to La Quinta standards.

I have never had a problem with La Quinta, and this hotel was no exception. If I had to complain, it was really cold out the night & morning of my stay and the heater never quite got things completely warm enough. Not sure if vents were not completely open or what.

I walked up to the counter and a gentlemen (using that term loosely) and a lady where in a heated discussion, he turned and asked after a few minutes how he could help me and I said checking in, he said your name I told him my name and my last and he turned to the girl and said take this, because he didn't want to deal with me spelling my last name, […] really. She checked me in told me where my room was gave me a huge map I asked her if the shuttle for my special request was down she said no, do you need one I said yes that is why I made a reservation here she said I will make sure he is here. I walked out and had to walk right back in because she forgot to give me the key card. The room was okay had a very strange odor and little creapy with about a thousand birds in the court yard was creapy. I called down stairs after 11 pm asked again for a shuttle she said I'll try, I said can't try I need it she said fine there will be a charge I said no there won't know one told me that. I made reservations online for a one night stay at La Quinta Inn in Oklahoma City, OK. The place was located on Meridian Avenue. My husband, our 12 year old grandson and I were in Oklahoma City for a soccer tournament our grandson was participating in. We arrived at our hotel about 2 p.m. We were told our room was not ready, would be ready about 3 p.m. […] We left then went back at 3 p.m. Our room was still not ready, said they were running behind getting all t he rooms cleaned. It was hot outside (108 degrees), we waited in the lobby. There had been some people coming to check in only to find their rooms were not ready either. The wait was another 20-30 minutes, then people started lining up to check in, my husband joined the line. 4 people were ahead of him, he stood for another 20 to 30 minutes line. When it was finally his turn, he found out that our room had been given to someone else. It took another 20 to 30 minutes to finally get our room. When we finally got to our room, the cards would not open the door, so my husband had to go back to the office to get other cards. The room was fine, a/c was working (thank goodness). When we took our grandson down to the swimming pool, there was some repairs being done to it, but guests were able to swim. I don't know why we had such a problem getting our room. Not enough cleaning staff? Some of the cleaning staff didn't show up for work? Whatever reason, we will not be staying at any other La Quinta Inns ever again! Read more

We checked in and went to the room to find a filthy bathroom. Called the desk & they sent housekeeping & a manager. The reception girl was new and did not know what she is doing. Got to the room to find a lot of people (of not so good quality) just hanging around drinking beer. I chose this hotel primarily because of the location (close to the airport). From the second I walked into the lobby, I knew I had made the wrong decision. The hotel itself has a "smokey" odor. It took forever to be acknowledged - let alone checked in - at the front desk. The room was ok, but it was not convenient to get in and out of. Lots of noisy […] neighbors. I was actually woken up very early the morning of my stay by several loud kids that were running around the pool/gazebo area unattended. It was just my daughter and I. We stayed on the back side of the hotel, which I don't recommend. It sits on the back side of celebration station and they played loud music til after midnight. The room did not have a microwave or fridge. The bed and shower were nice. The breakfast they serve is ok. It's the typical waffles, muffins, toast, yogurt, hard […] boiled eggs, milk coffee and juice. The pool does not have steps to get in.
