We got there at 7 pm and our room was not ready. We had to wait another hour for them to clean the room. Did not get to check-in till 7:50. Its way past the check-in time. Need to update the lobby, improve, nothing looks like lobby to me.

There wasn't any hot water the first night and it was in and out the second night. Didn't clean our room and we had to call housekeeping. They said they must have missed it. Not what you expect from Hsrrahs. Would not stay there again.

On arrival find out that this hotel don't have Queen beds they have doubles. Access to rooms from front lobby and access to main strip is awkward.

They charge you for everything .... Bottled water most places do charge but the coffee yes they charge a $1.50 per Keruig pod for the coffee and they don't offfer free coffee. They charge for wifi . The rooms where cleanish , bathroom was clean except they don't wash or wipe down walls or ceilings because there was some funky stuff on them really grossed me out !!!! They don't offer shuttle service to and from airport!

The people at the front desk did not explain things well. You have to pay to use the internet and then they tried to charge us twice. We called Saturday morning that our air conditioning did not work. When we got back to our room around midnight it still was not fixed. We called and they sent up a maintenance guy who was nice but just made excuses. Every time we tried to get into our room none of the 4 keys we had would work. Not one person said "I am sorry". Everyone made it feel like everything was our fault. Would not recommend this hotel.

From the Lobby at Check-in to the room itself, everything was very worn and neglected, scratched up even torn walpaper and stains on the carpet. If you just want a cheap room ok, but i have been to nicer dive hotels. Wouldn't stay here again. The golden nugget and Grand Sierra looked pretty good when we visited on the trip.

Nice little gym for a hotel. Had real weights & machines for those who want to stay healthy. The resturant "Hash House" had some healthy breakfast choices with real fresh fruit. Wow.

Decent stay for the price-stayed at Harrah's for one night. Definitely a dated hotel, but room was pretty clean (found some hair in the bathroom though). Check in to a long time and also wait for elevator was ridiculously long.

Pets in West Tower. Dog run on first floor out door and down a ways. All food in East Tower or on Skyway. Very pet friendly and our room very clean.

The valet and parking attendants were very helpful and freindly. The front desk staff asked for different info from us from one check in to the next, we were not sure why. The East tower was newer and more pleasant, but to get there you had to walk a ways through the smokey casino. Our room comforter on the second stay was dirty. The West tower rooms are older and the furniture showed it, with scratched tables and desks. The shower head was high pressured and was difficult to keep water from getting on the bathroom floor. We appreciated the airport shuttle and extended free parking. The Hash House and Noodle bar restaurants was very good with large portions and friendly service.

Check in was a bit slow but overall still ok . We were able to all stay on the same floor 4 rooms .. Thanks to Al the Filipino fellow . Hotel is old buy surprisingly still looks good inside and out . Buffett was good room was clean and very quiet .. Didn't gamble so I can't rate that ... I would stay here again

It was awful. First when we go to check in they told me that the king I booked was gone and all they had was 2 double beds. This was on valentines day!!!! Awful for us as a couple to sleep apart. When I asked her why did I even book a room then as a king she said well you booked on Hotels.Com so that's not a guarantee you will get what room you reserve. I have never had this issue. I think it was Strickly Harrahs bad service and over booking that did it. When we got to our room it was musty smelling and old. Everything was old and so much stuff was Covered in dust. It was awful. Bathroom even had mold on the cornerds of the walls. TV remote would not work and to top it off. You have to pay to have a cup of coffee in the morning. $1.50 what??? I paid over $100 for this room and a super 8 was nicer. Never again will I stay or refer anyone to this hotel.

I had a very bad experience when staying here in the summer of 2014, and even wrote a review to the manager. I requested "away from elevators and ice machine and high floor" because we are not city folks. I was put in the room directly across from both. I never heard from management. So, I called in advance of this stay and even though they do not reserve rooms in advance, they put me exactly where I requested, hence the better ratings this time around. We LOVE Harrah's steakhouse! They are professional and the food is awesome! We have gone there to eat 3 out of 4 visits to Reno in the last year!

Enjoy the café restaurant for a late night meal. Hash n - go - go (I think)meals where so large we split them every time. Service was great even at 2:00 AM! Eating here made the trip easy and a lot more fun. Have never stay here before and would come back. Easy to get around with just walking and a great value.

The rooms were clean the beds comfortable. Water in showers was hot and good pressure. The price was reasonable. I don't enjoy that there is still smoking allowed in the casino the smell of stale smoke is a detraction. The staff was friendly and quick to answer questions on the area.

The room was comfortable. The hotel was a little smokey for our tastes, but so goes Nevada casinos. Service was quick and helpful. We forgot something in our room, and staff retrieved our key cards from the drop-off box so that we could grab our item and go. We were in town for a quick trip to pick up a new car at a local dealership. I even won enough at the poker table (at another casino) to pay for the weekend. The buffet was a good deal with the coupons provided us at check-in. Sign up for the Players Card for added discounts.

Everything was great at our stay. Although we got stuck in an elevator for over an hour. They were very accomodating. It was our first entire weekend without our kids and we had a blast. The hotel is right in the middle of the strip. Very convenient. Also, the best gambling in the town was at Harrahs.

Crapets were very worn. Front desk staff was generally helpful. Valet parking personnel were pleasant but overworked. Often no one was working in the booth where one must turn in their ticket to retrieve their car. I've never stayed in a hotel that charged for the coffee in the room before. There was a small sign near the coffee maker advising it cost $1.50 a cup for room coffee. They talked us into buying a rewards card stating the buffet dinner would be $20 cheaper with a $2 rewards card. When we went to the buffet they said that offer was only good the previous evening. I don't plan to stay at this hotel again.

Room was dated. Door looked as if someone had tried to pry it open in the past. Hallways heavily scuffed up- looked like it had been years since it was painted. Lastly, I was really turned off by seeing a charge of $1.50 per cup to use the in-room coffee maker.

Rooms bed was very comfortable. But bathroom caulking had mildew coming through, even ceiling in shower. There were some splatter stains above entertainment center. Over all stay was fine. But city has changed. And not a lot of casinos on Virginia St

Liliana was super friendly and helpful at the front desk as was the rest of the staff. I have to visit Reno periodically because my son attends college there. This will be by home away from home because of how friendly and accommodating the staff always is.

I noticed the maid did not remove hair in the bathtub so I think she did not clean the bath tub at all. There were quite a few hair on the bath tub. This is the first time ever that I have been in a hotel or motel where the hair has been left in the tub. Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little hard and it hurt my back when I woke up.

We've stayed here before and enjoyed our previous visit. We took our 15 pound dog with us again and I had called ahead to let the hotel know we were bringing her and I was told over the phone and by hotels.com that it would be an extra fee of $60 for the stay. Here's the quote: "Pets are allowed for an extra charge of USD 60 per accommodation". When I got there and checked in, Harrah's attempted to take $60 for EACH DAY we were staying, which was absolutely ridiculous! With me finally putting my foot down and saying that I would not have taken my dog with me, and that the $60 per day pet fee was more than what I was paying per night for two adults! They made me prove it by going online and showing them that quote, and were quite rude about the entire thing. All in all, I don't think I will be staying at Harrah's again. There are many other hotels nearby that are newer and cleaner. It's a shame, as it was a great deal, the hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and we even got our requested fridge.

Hotel layout is very confusing. We needed to be directed to the west tower, self parking lot and buffet by the very helpful staff. The room in the west tower was very small. Only one person could pass in front of the bed at a time. Disappointed to learn there wasn't a cafe for breakfast. We went next door to another casino for breakfast. Perhaps different colored stripes on the floor to find our way around the casino would be helpful.
