"Fridge difficulties"
The refrigerator was not working. They sent a spanish speaking attendant to take a look and switch it out. He tried talking to the dispatcher but she wasnt understanding his strong Spanish Accent. We had to help him help her. We finally got a fridge that was working and kept my stuff colder...also the resort fee sucks, but they all have some sort of fee!

"Parking situation"
Everything about the stay at Harrah's Reno was great except for the valet parking. We were wanting to self park, but we were unable to find an elevator to take us to the correct floor and we were told that a bellhop would meet us. We ended up using the valet parking as it was becoming a stressful situation.

Not the nicest hotel downtown but It was clean & comfortable. We like staying here because the price isn't too steep and Harrah's is walking distance to everything downtown. Food, bars, nightlife, museums, etc.

"Charge for in-room coffee!"
Harrah's charged $1.50 each for in-room coffee. Nice Keurig but have never experienced in room coffee being charged per cup like a mini-bar! Felt like a cheap tactic. Otherwise, nice, large, well furnished, clean room.

Everything was pretty good except for all the smoke. I could hardly breath and the staff took me up to my room in a wheel chair. That was good. They wanted to get me to a hospital but I said no I left early the next day and had to go to my hospital. Cant there be a no smoking place in the casinos. I don't think I will be back and I usually have so much fun but if I cant breath I'm done. Cant they have a no smoking place in the casinos.

"Great weekend, dirty room."
Hotel room had dirty unmentionables and seemed as though it wasn't clean. There was a flyer posted in the room from 2 months prior our stay. Hotel common areas generally dirty and unkept, however the rates were indeed the cheapest offered for the weekend. The Buffett is awesome! Free mimosas on Saturdays! Manager was accommodating and told us to contact her during next trip to Reno, but didn't confirm any concession or promotion to be offered. Still deciding wether the low rate is worth the filth.

"Quick getaway to Reno"
We booked this room the day before we decided to head up to Reno. The price was OK for a last-minute trip (however we probably would have gotten a better deal if we booked earlier). The hotel staff were great, both the front desk and restaurant staff. We booked a non-smoking, two queen bed room. The bathroom, linens, and room were clean and did not smell like smoke. The air conditioner worked well. Wi-fi and garage parking were included with the resort fee. The room would have been even better if it had at least a microwave and/or refrigerator. Also, bring your own Keurig cups to use the in-room Keurig machine instead of paying $1.50 a K-cup. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and thought it was very accessible to downtown Reno. The coupons provided at check-in were also a good bonus!

"Not a "Resort""
This hotel was very disappointing. They charge you a resort fee of over $14 per night: however, they do not have a pool they do not have room service, they do not even have hot water in the shower! It took over 3 minutes for the water to get lukewarm, and it never actually got hot. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Those were the only two things that were good about this room. The light switch in the bathroom was coming off the wall and the light would turn off unless you push the outlet cover against the wall. When you turn on the sink in the bathroom water sprays everywhere. The toiletries were terrible. If you are looking for comfort in a room, do not stay here. A quick note for gamblers: the Sportsbook closes at 6 p.m. The television screens were out for an entire Saturday during college football season.

The hotel stay was fine. The room was clean, the bed was great. Most important, the room was quiet. My only problem was the fees added to the room. We paid a $33 fee upon booking, than paid $28 upon arrival. All the fees were declared before booking. When I asked what the fees were for, I received a short nonsensical explanation.

"The Little Sister of Ripoff City"
It's been more than twenty years since I had the "pleasure" of visiting Reno. Here's what's changed, if Harrah's is any indication. The hotels are bigger and shinier. The rooms are no bargain; not only was the "special" price Expedia got me the one they charged at the reception desk for walk-ins, it was about what I would have paid to stay in a Sheraton anywhere else. And they added an obligatory "fee" that jacked the price up another $20 bucks. The buffet was $23.00 a head, and it was meagre, badly prepared stuff. I've had better at a Luby's, and vastly better at a Golden Corral, and for less than $23.00. I capped the stay off by paying $11 for a $4 cigar. Never again.

"Reno 911"
Aside from taking almost 18 hours to check in because after turning in our luggage to the bellman/Valet. They left in the driveway for two hours unattended. I lost almost 6000.00 worth of computers and more when my computer. Long story short security and reno police were great. Due to some police work on my end as well as RPD we caught the guys who stole it and got all my stuff back but the hotel was so bad at taking care of this. They treated us like we were no longer guests and that security was dealing with from then on out. They gave us a few tokens but we had to ask for anything. They just didn't care...just referred us to their insurance company. Very disappointed with how the hotel treated us

"Horrible"
Hi this was a terrible experience about staying in hotels the day I arrive the rooms wasn't ready, I reserve for Nonsmoking Room and they don't have it, and the register they tell me there was only smoking room if I want it or not they don't give any discount, or anything and Because I have to be there at my meeting at certain time I have to take it. This was a horrible experience I would never go Harrah's hotel anymore.

"Reno Harrah's Stay"
I you are a gambler, and want a relatively inexpensive hotel this is an adequate. Shower did not regulate temperature properly, way to many parking placing reserved for valet, whole second floor was empty in the parking garage. Rooms were dated, without a desk. Phone did not work properly. Casino was dated and smelled like cigarettes. Should be priced at $50 vs. over $100. Would not stay again, at least for my needs. Visiting University or Nevada Reno, not gambling.

"Run down and lacking expected hotel services"
Run down looking furniture I would expect to see at Goodwill. Uncomfortable (lumpy) bed and pillows. NO ROOM SERVICE! The hot water was too hot. I would expect a hotel that calls itself a resort destination and has a 24/7 buffet would have room service. It's obvious that this company is financially stressed. On a positive note, the employees were helpful, friendly and polite.

I'm not a tall person ..@5'4"..I expect to be able to wash my hair with bending... the shower head is low... could not find plug to charge my phone...except in the bathroom..which may be why the coffee pot was in there... and the fitness room doesn't open until 7:30am...making it impossible to work out before work...bed and pillows were very comfortable. .

"Convenient to concert accross the street, clean"
Great price for a Thursday night trip to see a concert across the street from the hotel. Room was clean, shower worked fine. Only hitch was checkout procedure, there was a sign to checkout but we found out that we could just drop our room cards at a kiosk that was not well signed. If that is the biggest issue I will take it! Will return to Harrah's next time I am in town for a concert.

"Pet friendly but will cost ya"
Stopped here on our way through. Booked a queen room pet friendly, as we had our two dogs with us. The pet stay option is good, although the pet relief area is a 6'x6' gravel slab in back of the hotel. They provided a nice set of bowels for the dogs, and a bag of treats as well! The room wound up being a 2 queen room, not a big deal. The only issue we had was that they wanted extra cash for every small thing. Coffee in the room was $1.50, the bottle of water was even more. And to top it off, a late checkout (so we could gamble more, no less) cost us $20 extra! But overall if you stay within their expectations the hotel will not disappoint.

"Good location, old and understaffed building."
Hotel itself is what I was expecting for $40. However I was incredibly disappointed to find they could only out me and my girlfriend in a smoking room. We do not smoke and the smell was awful. All this despite having a non-smoking reservation.

The room was in the more updated area. Very small bathroom, view of the roof of casino, non-smoking room smelled of smoke, and just overall a bit disappointed. The steakhouse was awesome. Will go to eat there again, but will stay somewhere else.

"It wasn't a good experience at all."
Staff was not very friendly along with understaffed. When I checked in. There was only 1 person checking in and the signs were confusing of what line to stand in. The 1 employee left the desk for about 5 mins and there were long lines. The manager didn't help out or greet anyone with apologies.

"Good elements, poor gestalt"
Hotel seems old with remodel. The elements of a nice hotel were there, but somehow the overall feel was not great. Nice furniture that was too much and too big for the room. Remodeled bathroom but the faucet was too short to fit the sink and the shower head was too low (I assume because the tub was raised but the plumbing wasn't) for me ( at 5 foot 2) to comfortably wash my hair. Bed was very comfortable but pillows were too dense and hurt my neck. Carpets felt like rug shampoo wasn't removed, like I didn't want to walk on it in my bare feet. Walls were very thin and we could hear conversations from the neighboring room as well as the pings from the elevators which were across the hall from our room. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable, the tv picture was hidef (although the program guide is for a different time zone and it lost signal so I couldnt watch it while falling asleep) and the staff were very friendly. We got a 2fer coupon for the buffet and that was a good deal. It was a 5 minute walk to the river walk and the movie theatre. Overall it wasn't bad for the rate we paid and we will stay again for the right price, but it won't be my first choice in Reno.

"Enjoyed stay at Harrah's"
People were friendly and automatically upgraded us to a nicer room. We had a great view from the 20th floor and there were comfortable chairs to sit in at the window. The only problem we had was that there was a sign on the refrigerator saying they leave it 'off' to save energy. The fridge was on the floor so difficult to see the temperature setting. The fridge felt cool so I filled it with our food. Next day I discovered the temperature was set to 'max; and much of our food was spoiled due to freezing. I suggested at check out that housekeeping check the temperature setting and/or take the sign off saying they leave the setting 'off'.
