Extremely polite staff, modern comfortable rooms, good and varied buffet breakfast and close to the Metro for trains into Milan - 100metres.

For what we paid for 4 nights in Milan I couldnt asked for any thing else from a hotel. We managed to get what we thought was a great price for a superior room incl breakfast. The hotel wasnt in the city centre & on maps of the centre it wasnt even appearing on them but really glad we choose it now as we got better quality for our money. The metro stop is literary 1 minute from the hotel & is about 5 stops to Duomo (one of the tourist areas) & about 8 to Milan's central station.

Excellent hotel, Metro station 2 minutes away, nice restaurants within minutes. Very clean and comfortable, multilingual staff. Limited breakfast options, but still more than adequate.

We spent 4 nights at the Business Palace and were delighted with all aspects of the hotel: true 5-star quality at a 3-star price (think we were lucky with our timing). Though it is a few miles from the town centre, it is only 100m from a Metro station with direct trains to the city centre, including Stazione Centrale... and the Metro was rarely crowded and has lifts for those with luggage. Staff friendly and helpful, room very comfortable (more like a suite) and excellent breakfast choice

Very nice clean rooms and great breakfast really healpfull staff.Little far from city centre but easy to get there aprox fifteen min from central by metro.just 1 min form metro.great not probs at all...So highly recommended...

the hotel was good overall. to find it you need to take the yellow line metro line and get off porto de mare exit. the hotel is right there. food..all I have to say is you need to do the apperitivo. you show up and pay about 8 euros and get a beer to go with it and they will give you access to a buffet. the slice cafe on naviglio district (sforza street) is the best. you cant go to milan and no show up at this cafe.

The hotel is far from the city centre and the area around is ok but would not reccomend if you are going to Milan for pleasure. I stayed here for business and it was ok since it is easier to park and leave the city.

This hotel was much nicer than expected given the price. Breakfast buffet was awesome. While not within talking distance of the city center, you're extremely close to a subway stop. The area around the hotel is a bit sketchy, so invest in the for-fee parking. I paid 18 euro a night.

Perfectly comfy business hotel that we used as a base for our trip to Milan. Price was very reasonable and the facilities were good. One thing to note is that they wouldn't provide an iron and ironing board. We asked for one and got a woman instead! Not cheap if you need to iron shirts for a stay. Also, the map on hotels.com shows the nearest Metro station as being "Corvetto", in actual fact "Porto di Mare" is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel but this station seems to be missing from the map. It's the next stop on the same line if you travel by Metro.

Great four staf hotel for money. Huge bed and large bedroom. Very clean and comfortable in a quiet area (August) Lovely italian restaurant round the corner La Plancia. Hotel staff all spoke good english. Would definiately come again to this hotel.

The staff were incredibly helpful. The hotel is little away from the main city but this was not a problem for us as the metro was only few hundred meters from the hotel. The journey takes about 10 to 15 minutes to Dumo or Central Station.

Well I just got back from Milan I stayed for 4days and got great deal on hotels.com hotel was great quick check in & check out understood English very helpful at reception rooms had old fashioned keys not cards big hotel 1min walk from metro station which is on the yellow line and 15mins direct from Milan centrale breakfast was huge buffet croissants various flavours sausage eggs bacon fruit juices (watered down) teas coffees fruit water toast biscuits yogurts jams loads of variety which was nice the bed I had was massive I'm sure 4people could comfortably sleep! Loved the bed (and I paid for a single room! Bonus really) shower was clean and lovely in the morning gym was small as usual but very nice and had everything you need the area was a bit of a dive however Internet access is provided in one of the shops on the road and is 2€ for 1hr much better than 20€ for an hour which the hotel wanted to charge I used my iPhone to connect to the wap and there's a special discount of €8 for 24hrs on hand held devices which I paid for hotel has phone plenty of places to sit a nice garden parking friendly staff I loved it and Being on my own I still felt Safe the tv had 1english channel and no ppv options ironing is only avalible on charge! But great stay July 26th 2009!

Excellent hotel. Clean, comfortable with a very helpful and friendly staff. Metro station at the corner,and five minutes walk from hotel. Metro trip to central milan is only twelve minutes. Two days round trip metro ticket is only five and half Euro. Breakfast is basics. dead guiet sorrounding area at night.

When we first checked in, we were given an upgrade on the room. That seemed nice at first, especially since the room was spacious, however, the air conditioning was not working. Also the refrigerator was not cooling. We told the front desk lobby and they sent someone down to investigate. He said he'd get back to us. After about 20 minutes, I called the front desk and told them we needed another room. I checked out the other room personally which had the AC working but there was an extra bed in the room. After asking to have it removed, I was told it was reserved for someone else. We finally got into a room with a working AC and fridge on the third attempt. After that everything was smooth, and the lobby staff, as well as bar/restaurant staff provided excellent service. Construction going on next to the hotel. No good supermarket nearby for buying general stuff (forgot some toiletries I had to buy). Little bit outside of central Milan, but easily accessible as the metro stop is right next to the hotel. Took about 30 min to get to Duomo and central Milan.

The only disadvantage of the Business Palace is that you have to take the Metro to get to the heart of Milan.. however for the money we were thrilled with the hotel and didn't find it inconvenient to have to take the Metro. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff very helpful about giving directions, mailing things for you, etc.

We stayed for three nights last week May 2009. Room, upgraded to superior double was lovely, not huge but clean and comfortable. Locaton seven stops on Metro to Duomo, and Parc de Mer station, which was 20 metres from the hotel. Cheap, regular and easy to use as well. A few inconsistencies with service however - first morning a large group of teenagers staying. Had to stand waiting for ten minutes for a table at breakfast where they had taken over, although the hotel had tried to seat them in a seperate room. Eventually we were given a table in amongst them. The last night we stayed in the hotel to eat, knowing it was more expensive. The service was really poor, the waiter took the wrong food to three tables and for a four star hotel the food didn''t match up at all - bland and dry - my veal cutlet was dry as cardboard and cost 23euros! So, a tip - stay in the hotel, good value for money but eat elsewhere. The seond and third morning service was back to normal for breakfast and there was an excelllent choice and plenty of it.

This was a great room especially since we drove to Milan. It was out of the city center but had easy access to the metro. The room and bed were very comfortable by European standards. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is situated in a great spot for getting to central Milan. It is very easy to make your way around by metro,tram etc. It is a very quiet hotel, especially at night. If your looking for any kind of entertainment you wont get it here. The picture of the hotel on the website is a little missleading as it seems to be on its own but in fact is surrounded by buildings.It is a very large hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would consider returning again.

The hotel have a very good location is 7 station from the Duomo of Milano (10 Minutes), very clean , the staff of the hotel is very kind and nice. The rooms where very clean. The service is excellent , they where very kind and nice.If i have to rated this hotel from 1 to 10 i will rated 10.

Beautiful hotel in a business area/ metro very convenient / 2 minutes away/ lovely rooms in the hotel With first class service in the breakfast room /not much activity in the area couple of small restaurants around the corner /But perfect for the traveller who wants to explore Milan. Metro very cheap €3 for the day Including trams and buses so didn’t mind, about 15 minutes to Milan Central /great service on the metro. Overall I would certainly stay there again

Very convenient for the Metro, seven stops/20 mins from Duomo. Communal areas spacious. Lovely room, Comfy beds. Good breakfast. Helpful staff.Nothing much in the immediate surrounding area but a decent pizzeria almost next door.Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was absolutely the friendliest we encountered in all of Italy. Although the location is at the edge of Milan, the hotel is RIGHT next to a metro station and it is very easy to get to the city center. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel makes up for its location by being right next to a subway station. For travel to Milan by car or access to the airport the location is good because it is close to the highways. The center of town is a quick 10 minute ride on the subway. The hotel has a very nice breakfast buffet, which is free, and the dinner buffet was very good. There really is nothing else around the hotel except office buildings and apartment complexes.

As long as you the reservation is done thru Hotels.com. Otherwise it would be much more expensive if you try to book the hotel while in Milan

When I saw the mediocre reviews for this hotel I was slightly concerned but it turned out to be a very good place to stay for its price. I would agree that, at times, the staff could have been more helpful and more knowledgeable, but that is did not alter my overall impression. Also, it's conveniently located just south of the heart of Milan with easy access with the yellow metro line (M3) to vitually anywhere in the city.

The hotel is very close to the yellow line subway which is a 10 minute ride from Duomo the major attraction center of Milan. The Hotel has a bar open until 1am but the area in general does not have many activities in walking distance. The trains run until midnight so if you are looking to stay out past midnight and don't want to pay exorbitant taxi fees you might want to stay somewhere closer to the Duomo in Milan.

Did not get to stay there. Was "fogged in" at Heathrow

We were looking for a nice 4 star hotel to spend part of our vacation. This hotel is located one block from the Metro stop. But the location is not in a business area. There's graffiti on the walls of the businesses across the street from the hotel. This doesn't give the comfortable feeling of wanting to walk outside. The room was spacious but the beds were small and uncomfortable. Then, the front desk staff is not friendly. While checked out, the girl helping me giggled/chatted with another person in Italian while assisting me. Also, all over the hotel it stinks like smoke.

Πολύ άνετο δωμάτιο ,πολύ καθαρό και το πρωινό αρκετά ικανοποιητικό,πολύ φιλικό σέρβις. Μεγάλη ευκολία η πολύ κοντινή αποσταση απο το μετρό (στάση Porto di Mare).

Hotel ligt ongeveer 10 min met metro vanaf de Duomo. Heel goed bereikbaar en dus net uit het druktste gedeelte van Milaan. Echt een businesshotel, je moet dus geen authentieke charme verwachten of dat je uitzicht hebt op een typisch Italiaans straatje oid. Het staat echt in een buitenwijk. De kamers zijn heel netjes en schoon. Goede bedden en geen last van geluidsoverlast. De service is prima aan de balie. Mogelijkheid tot internetten is aanwezig. Het onbijt is voldoende. Basic, maar naar Italiaanse standaarden prima. Hotel is goed bereikbaar met de auto.

J'ai choisi cet hôtel pour son rapport qualité prix et je n'ai pas été déçu ! Il est tout simplement parafait. S'il n'est pas central, ce n'est pas un problème. On peut se rendre rapidement dans le centre en métro et même en voiture (on trouve tout de même à se garer dans Milan). L'accueil est très sympathique, la chambre silencieuse et parfaitement confortable et propre, le petit déjeuné inclus est riche, varié et à volonté, il y a un parking assez cher mais on peut se garer autour de l'hôtel sans risquer trop le vol (quartier d'affaire). Seul défaut la connexion internet hors de prix !

Very nice hotel, helpful staff, garage, room was below expectations, dirty walls, noisy AC, not comfortable neither ergonomic. (+)Metro at 50m staff very polite, waitress at the bar brought us some snacks with our coffee although they were not included in the catalog, when we asked for something to eat. (-) Room nothing to do with appearance or rest of the hotel. Breakfast was not at a 4* level

Hotel buiten centrum maar letterlijk 1 minuur lopen van de metrostation (7 haltes van de centrum = 10 minuten). Dichtbij snelweg, goed bereikbaar, gratis parkeerplek. Ontbijt = amerikaanse buffet. Personeel is heel aardig en service gericht. Goede tips voor sightseeing and shopping in milaan en gratis upgrade naar een suite. All by all...Goed!!!! Zeker de moeite waard om buiten centrum te overnachten

Ο χάρτης που υπάρχει στο site είναι "περίπου" σωστός, με αποτέλεσμα να μην το βρίσκει κάποιος εύκολα. Η περιοχή δεν είναι ιδιαίτερα καλή, αλλά η στάση του metro είναι πολύ κοντά (100 - 150 μέτρα). Το προσωπικό καθώς και το δωμάτιο πάρα πολύ καλό. Το πρωινό αρκετά καλό (όχι όμως με μεγάλο μπουφέ).

Uistekend hotel, schoon, gratis parkereren, goed ontbijt en goede ligging voor een bezoek aan Milaan centrum, metro om de hoek. zo bespaar je parkeerkosten en heb je een prima hotel

Vi havde et dejligt ophold - perfekt placering 100 meter fra metro.

Πολύ καλό ξενοδοχείο (αν και το δωμάτιο που μείναμε δεν ήταν και τόσο ευρύχωρο). Αν έχετε αυτοκίνητο μπορείτε να το παρκάρετε πολύ εύκολα το βράδυ έξω από το ξενοδοχείο χωρίς να πληρώσετε. (την ημέρα είναι πιο δύσκολο να παρκάρετε). Αν δεν έχετε αυτοκίνητο η στάση του μετρό είναι πενήντα μέτρα από το ξενοδοχείο. Το κέντρο είναι πολύ μακριά για να πάει κάποιος με τα πόδια.

Ett mycket bra hotell med trevlig personal och ett utmärkt läge nära tunnelbanan, även en bra parkering under hotellet i ett lugnt område.

Verdt pengene. Veldig bra service. Rommet var bra, rent og fint. Litt eldre standard. Eneste negative var at frokosten ikke var så bra, men alt i alt et bra hotell.

Prima hotel. Goed en vriendelijk personeel, Mooie en goed onderhouden kamers en ook het ontbijt 's ochtends is prima! Al met al een hotel wat zeker aan te raden is tijdens een citytrip naar Milaan! Dit mede door de goede ligging aan het metrostation Porto di Mare.

Hotellet var rigtig godt, kan klart anbefales! Ligger lige ved en metrostation så det er rigtig nemt at komme rundt! Næste gang vi skal til Milano bor vi uden tvivl på Starhotels igen. Stor morgenbuffet som også er upåklagelig.

Rigtig lækkert hotel med masser af komfort. Store værelser og senge. Venlig og hjælpsomt personale. Rent og velholdt. Vi var meget tilfredse med opholdet. Ligger lige ved siden af metrostationen Porta del Mare, 10 minutter til centrum. Ikke mindst overdådig morgen-buffet med alt hvad hjertet kan begære.

Lit langt unna sentrum men Metro stasjon like rundt hjørnet. Ikke topmodern med fullt ut akseptabelt standard. Sjeldent sovet så godt i hotell, overraskende stille.

Hotellets personale var alt andet end fokuseret på service og meget lidt venlige. Morgenmaden blev serveret i et kælderlokale uden vinduer og kvaliteten på maden var helt i bund. Ingen frisk frugt, dårlig juice, tørt brød. Værelset var dog fint og sengen himmelsk. Den dårlige service fra bl.a. receptionisterne trækker helhedsintrykket ned til.

Ottima la posizione vicinissima alla metropolitana. Parcheggio dell'hotel a pagamento ma parcheggi liberi all'esterno. Buona la struttura.

C'est un bon hôtel qui se situe très proche du métro de Milan (à peine 50 mètres). En 10 minutes, vous êtes déjà à Duomo, au centre-ville de Milan. Le personnel est bien entraîné et prêt pour vous servir. De plus, le tarif est très bon pour un hôtel de cette catégorie.
