Our 1 bdrm suite was lovely and very spacious: nice LR space and full kitchen, comfortable bed. So much more than we expected. Hot breakfast was great with many food choices. Little traffic here, quiet, and if you have a suite in back your windows overlook some undeveloped woodland. The suite was everything one could hope for, attractively priced besides. Everything in the room #123 was old and dirty looking, except for the bed sheets and towels. The carpet was spotted, torn, and very dirty. Every staff member was very friendly and helpful. Suites are very nice, though dated. It is not a problem for us, as we liked the reasonable rates, but I am aware that makes a difference for some people. Good and hearty breakfast. This was a very pleasant stay, especially for the cost. The staff was friendly, the hot breakfast was very good, and the suite was large, clean and quiet. The kitchen is not equipped with cooking utensils, but they are available on request. I was on the third floor, with no elevator, so if that is an issue you should ask for a room on a lower floor. "Very satisfying stay"
Stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. It was very satisfying, with friendly staff and large suites uncompared to other hotel's one-room style setting. The only issues were hot water, which could be resolved by letting it run for about 5-10 min before shower while I tend other business(This is a generally expected issue with hotels with this price range), […] and extremely uncomfortable TV setting. (A TV in a bedroom was so antique and did not even had S-Video input that I could hook my Roku device or portable Blu-Ray player, and one in living room was attached to the wall above a fireplace, which made it located sky-high and cannot watch in comfortable position in couch. Even if you try to watch it from your bed, it's too far and the remote control wouldn't work. I completely gave up on TV since the first day and had fun with my laptop.) "In safer neighborhood"
The hotel is very outdated. The sofa in our sitting area had stuffing coming out of it and the back was broken. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was a big "grease" (or something) area on the carpet as you came in the door. The phone and wifi didn't work. There was not an elevator and I had to have our room changed as I have two knee replacements […] and can't carry heavy objects up stairs. We were put on the back of the hotel which didn't seem safe and had to lug our luggage a long distance. Rates were reasonable but I had rather pay a little more and have a nicer room. "Good deal for the budget"
We rented a 2 queen suite but later upgraded to 2 queen and a king suite upon arrival. The suite is spacious for 6 of us, we don't even need to sleep on sofa bed. "no parking, no linen"
We pulled in after a very long day of driving only to be sent to the very back of the hotel and around the corner, upstairs (in the rain).There were 3 of us checking in but there were no linen for the pull out couch. I called the front desk who informed us we would have to go to the front desk to pick them up. My husband did after he parked the car, […] they neglected to give him extra towel or pillows. We didn't care for Patricia's attitude w/us. I had called about a 1/2hr out of town to let them know of our arrival time but I still had to wait at the front desk when I checked in. "Not worth it just to save a few bucks."
I was staying alone (female, late 20s) and didn't feel very comfortable. To get to my room I had to park at the back of the lot and navigate the dim courtyard area. From what I could see and was told there are no elevators, so be prepared to haul your luggage up the outdoor wooden stairs if you aren't on the first floor. The hotel says no smoking everywhere […] but my room smelled of smoke and you could smell it outside, too. I couldn't run the fan or use the heat because the vents made a terrible rattling noise that only got worse as time went on. I would have asked for another room but I was already on my second and it was late. The walls are paper thin, so not only do you hear your next door neighbors' conversations (even at reasonable volume) you also hear every single person who walks by your room or uses the aforementioned stairs. And there were lots of people using them until well after midnight, on a weekday. Also, the blinds in the living room area windows barely close and the curtains do not, so I felt like people could still see in. I'm not sure why they wouldn't install the curtain track all the way across the windows for added privacy. The room itself seemed clean. The decor is outdated but that should be expected with the price. The breakfast had lots of options: eggs, biscuits, bagels, cereal, etc. Overall, I would spend an extra $30 for somewhere else because I didn't feel overly safe staying here and the noise levels meant I got barely any slee. This is a great hotel for the price. The wireless is finicky, and there is no elevator. But for a suite hotel that won't break your bank, this is great. "Ok, stairs a pain."
We arrived at 1:40pm. We were told there was a $25 surcharge for early check-in before 3pm. We left and came back. There were no sheets for the pull out sofa. We called and was told we had to come to front desk to get them, it was freezing cold and I wasn't about to drag my kids out in the cold. They said they'd bring it at midnight when shift changes […] but they forgot. I called again they finally brought them at 1:30am. We were on third floor, no elevators, no cooking utensils. "An economical stay in Buckhead"
My stay started out on a low note; the clerk could not locate my prepaid Hotels.com reservation, then after receiving a fax from Hotels.com, was unable to provide a room with the advertised king (I ended up with a smaller bed for my 5 day stay). The check-in process (including trying to find a manager with authority to change rooms) ended up taking […] more than an hour! There were some noticable lapses in service. On first day, the used towels were left overnight on a stairway adjacent to the room. On second and third days, the in-room coffee was not re-stocked. As to amenities, one has to make a special request for the kitchenette to be stocked with any cooking utensils, and all of the cups and plates are disposable. As I did not have many in-room meals on this trip, no big deal, but if I had been planning more in-room meals I would have been disappointed by the hassle of having to ask for cooking utensils. The TV was dated, and the remote marginally operable. Location is great - walking distance to meeting facilities in Buckhead. And no extra parking charges, a bonus for Buckhead.
