This is an older hotel, but very clean and staff is friendly and courteous. The location is perfect. Just cross the bridge to downtown and the Landing. Two blocks from San Marco and 16 miles to the JAX beach. 15 minutes to JAX Zoo.

The Front desk service was exceptionally great her name I believe was tyrainia not sure but was very pleasant it’s always great to have someone upfront who knows how to make people want to stay and greeted with a warm welcome. The Bartender doesn’t know his name also was very nice he was working the Starbucks as well as the bar. I’m not too swift on […] the VIP Catering I was over charged twice with an exceptional great amount I’ve called to get it resolved, I had to wait till I checked out they could of gave me something to accommodate since now I had to wait 3 to 5 days just to get my funds back very frustrating. Hotel is so-so, but the ribeye steak at the Ruth Chris Steakhouse downstairs is one of the bests I ever had in my life! The lounge is an excellent place to relax too. Crowne Plaza has always been noted for its awesome downtown location. Finally, the much needed revamp is being implemented to compliment their rooms, famous river vista. I stayed on the newly renovated 10th floor... WOW!

Food at the restaurant was a bit overpriced and having to hear the train whistle several times during the night was annoying. Otherwise, our stay was great, everyone was nice and the hotel was clean!

Hotel service was good; housekeeping excellent. Good value for parking considering rates at nearby hotels. Very beautiful water and night views. Incredibly comfortable bed. Hotel was older, but relatively well kept. Hallways and carpets could use re-doing, but rooms were fine. Very convenient location. I would stay at this property again.

A decent hotel, but for the price I expected much more. Couldn't get wifi on the 8th floor, the wallpaper was pealing of the walls and the whole room felt like taking a trip back to the 1970's.

Loved the sight from our riverveiw room, but getting checked in at the desk, I thought that they really could have used some help. Took a lot longer than expected getting checked in. And some of the personalities, or the hospitality could use some improvement.

The hotel staff are extremely polite and very helpful. However, the hotel is old and has seen better days. The air conditioners are the old type with individual units for each room, and this type is always noisy and makes rooms stuffy because it does not exchange enough air with the outside. Everything was great except for the reservation was for a riverfront room and we didnt have one upon check in. The front desk assured us that it was a river front room, although once we got to our room it was not. after calling down, the front desk said that they could not accomicate us because we booked online and that Hotels.com can guarantee that […] kind of room. It was a decent hotel for a overnight stay room was clean and not smelly. Only complaint is when a neighbor closes door you hear it and it sounds like they're coming in your room every time their door shuts! VERY ANNOYING!

I stayed here recently paid a lot of money for it and expected good things, but the room wasn't better than any $40-50 room I could've got at a cheaper hotel. Nice convenient location and well-trained, personable staff. Poor job maintaining the room: 1) Lamp by bed was broken, 2) Gap in tile immediately below the neck for the shower head, 3) inadequate lighting in room. Also no sleep timer on the TV. Spent very little time in hotel, so I can't comment on other aspects of the facility.

The staff was incredible and very helpful. They had the answers to all of our questions about the surrounding are and attractions as well as the river taxi that docks right outside the hotel. We only spent one night, but absolutely stay there again. we had a beautiful river view from our room.

Rooms were small and tired. Hotel bar closed suddenly due to unruly customers, therefore all guests were punished and inconvenienced. I stay at a high end hotel because of amenities and none provided. No morning paper, no shuttle service and no cabs available.

Hotel is in a good central location downtown. Housekeeping was excellent. The housekeeping staff was friendly and profeessional. The bar and restaurant were understaffed and service suffered as a result. The rooms definitely need an update. This is a mediocre "Crown" property. Furniture marked and air condition very noisy bed very uncomfortable. Placed in a very small corner room with locks falling off door. We changed rooms and staff never apologized or offered any extra comp. this is suppose to be a type of hotel you recommend. We might start and use other sites for our travels.

Had a few challenges at this hotel but the riverfront view was fantastic! The room was comfortable but the front desk and waitress in the restaurant make a couple of mistakes but adjustments were made and all was good in the end.
