Generally very nice,staff very friendly,great breakfast,clean rooms,toilet leaked and ran sometimes through the night,fixed it myself.we really like it there and use it whenever we are in Bowling Green,Ky.

The room was icy cold. The air conditioner came on all night. The thermostat would not even turn the unit off much less control the temperature.

We have very good experiences at Hampton Inns. This was no different. The wstaff was teriffic. We accidentally dumped our coller of ice in the hallway. Two staff members heard the crash and were there immediately to help us clean it up. They even offered to get us more ice. Great staff!

This was a great stop off for me to get a nice bed, a good meal, and the services and facility were very well run. Friendly people. Only problem was the sound of some kind of electric motor that I could hear throughout the night kicking on intermittently. The Hamptom at Bowling Green has a lot of school spirit - wearing the university logo on Homecoming even. The desk staff were extremely friendly - I was even given a "thanks for staying" gift bag.

The first thing I noticed when we walked into our room was that the double beds were really small. Then I noticed there was not even a mini fridge in the room. Im just glad we brought a cooler to keep drinks cold for the races. So we just used the cooler in the room for our fridge. I read when I booked the hotel, that they had a hot and cold breakfast […] buffet. That was the final decision maker for me. A good hot breakfast!!! Well, it should have said you could have a hot breakfast if you want to wait about 2 minutes to toast your slice of bread (only one toaster), or if you want to take the frozen items out of the cooler and pop it in one of the two microwaves that take much longer than your normal microwave, or if you would like to wait in line to make your own waffle, wait 2 minutes for it to cook, just for it to taste very bland. I heard a couple of men telling their friends not to waste their time on the waffles, cause they were terrible. I thought they were just complainers. Well, they were right. I took two bites of the waffle and just ended up getting a bowl of cereal. The breakfast was not worth it. We take a trip to Bowling Green every year. I will definately mark this hotel off my list of hotels to stay in. The room was pretty clean. Im not real picky about dust in the corners or the room not being vaccuumed good, but I didnt like the fact that there was hair in the bathtub. Read more

It was ok. Not the best, not the worst. The rooms were comfortable. Staff was nice and courteous. Cigarette smell in hallways and breakfast, something we usually really enjoy in Hamptons, was a huge disappointment.

Everything was fine execpt for three things: The hotel smelled funny; perhaps like cleaner and moisture? Not sure. The morning coffee was tasteless; I imagine that it was so weak that it had no taste, so I went across the street to Starbucks. Heavy smokers across the hall which stunk up the hall and lingered in the air constantly. Isn't this a fire […] hazzard? I didn't know people were allowed to smoke in hotels anymore. Other than these three factors, the hotel was nice. The beds were exteremly comfortable and the pillows are wonderful; lots of them. I especially liked the fact that this hotel has an outdoor pool, although it was already closed for the season, but if I ever come back to Bowling Green, KY during the summer months, I will stay at this hotel specificially because it has an outdoor pool. The swimming pool was very nice and clean. We asked for a pull out sofa which had a stained linen from the last guest, and it was the worst sofa to sleep in.

From the website, we understood that we would have a refrigerator and microwave in our room but did not have one, thus we ended up wasting some food we thought we could refrigerate. We were also promised a roll away bed but did not get it. The room looked very nice, but the beds were very uncomfortable. We liked the pool and the breakfast.

The only thing that was a little sub-par was the breakfast options. There weren't any eggs or sausage like usual, and the waffles didn't taste that great either. Otherwise, we had a great stay!

Breakfast was not up to par compared to other Hampton Inns at which I have stayed. There was a notice posted in the breakfast area blaming "State of Kentucky regulations" for them not being able to provide the usual items. I would not stay at this particular Hampton Inn again.

We would really have appreciated a queen or king size bed, full is small for a 6'2 person. I do understand the hotel does not have queen size beds and I could have made reservations sooner. We have always enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn and will continue.

The amenities listed for this hotel included fridge and microwave which were non existent. When I asked the desk clerk about it, he said that the standard rooms don't have them. We like to have a fridge to keep our drinks, cheese, fruit etc. cool during the night.
