It was a wonderful place to stay. Hampton Inn's are consistently terrific and this one was no exception. The staff was especially helpful and gracious. I was especially impressed with a book that had at the front desk that not only had restaurant menus, but also had directions you could take with you to restaurants throughout the city.

For an overnight visit to Biltmore, this hotel served the purpose. It's a little over 5 miles west of the Biltmore exit on 40 but worth it. Surrounded by shopping and dining. Room clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

leaky faucet in the bathroom sink leaving a wet, crowded mess because it was where the coffee pot, ice bucket , etc were kept. there was barely room for my toothbrush. The beds were clean and very comfortable. A bit out of the way but not bad.

Very impressed with the comfort of this hotel. I love Hamptons and try to stay in one when I travel. Great service from all staff, good beds, perfect climate control in the room (quiet, and I never had to adjust it). My wife and I where partying on that side of town and decided to stay the night on that side of Asheville, at The Hampton. For the price it was almost all you could ask for. We stayed in the King room with Study, and it was enough room to relax and get a little wild. A nicer tub or walls/door separating the bed area from study area would be awesome […] but for a one night stay it was very worth it! I wish the hot tub area stayed open past 10pm, that would have been cool :) Breakfast was a pass. They had a lot for a free breakfast, but with so many great places to get breakfast in Asheville, why bother. If you are cheap though, you will dig it for sure. The night of our stay my husband went to use the restroom, and the toilet immediately started to overflow. Thank goodness he knew how to turn the water off. I called down to the front desk and they said a maintenance technician would be in our room momentarily to assist. When the techcician arrived he simply unplunged the toilet. I was curious as to […] why this was not addressed before our arrival. My husband had only used the restroom to pee and no toilet paper was used. So, that led me to believe that either no one cleaned the toilet before our arrival since you would flush the toilet after cleaning it, or that they knew there was something wrong and did not address it. After the technician unplunged the water, he went to leave. I asked him if he was going to sanitize the floor. He had the nerve to say to me, "It has been wiped up with towels, why do I need to clean it?" I then called down again to the front desk to ask to be moved to another room. They said they there were no other rooms available. I told them that if they can't move me, I want someone up here immediately to sanitize the bathroom floor since my husbands urine had come up with the toilet water and spilled all over the floor. I don't think that was too much to ask. The gentleman returned with an attitude to clean and I thanked him. Bottom line, There are plenty of other hotels in the area that I know have a better staff and cleaner facility. Read more

They confirmed our reservation the evening before by phone. Hote was inviting and clean. Bed was ok. Very quiet and could not hear thru walls. They called our room after a few minutes to make sure we were happy with it. Only thing I was displeased with was that at we booked a king and they said we booked 2 queens. I showed them the Hotels.com reciept […] and they said that this happens all the time when booking thru a 3rd party vendor. I can honestly say I've booked thru Hotels.com the last 10-15 stays at other hotels and this has never happened. Read more

The staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were somewhat soft and seemed a bit worn. The bathroom vanity was small. Room was clean. Maid did a good job daily.

This was a trip for my wedding anniversary. My husband and I had high expectations for the hotel because we have always been pleased with the quality of our stay at other Hampton Inns across the country. Unfortunately, both the beds in our room had hair all over the sheets, the ice maker for the floor was located right next to our room and it was loud […] enough to keep us up all night, house keeping did not remove trash from our bathroom and sleeping area, the coffee in the lobby was cold when we ate breakfast, and not that this was a total disappointment but this hotel did not offer baked cookies like the other Hampton Inns we have stayed at. We will not stay at this Hampton Inn again and I doubt we will stay at any Hampton Inn in the future due to this experience. Read more
