The room was good. We had a light bulb that was burned out (That staff should have picked up on and changed). Our door did not close easily, and the room, while sound proof to the other rooms, did pick up noise of people coming in and out of the side exterior door. They ran out of scrambled eggs (New hot breakfast) by 7:45am, and did not replenish them. […] When asked, they simply said they ran out and there was nothing they could do. Most irritating was that the "free" internet kept disconnecting and would not reconnect for long periods of time. This made planning the next stage of our long drive home difficult. Staff was ok, but certainly did not bend over backwards to please you. However, the room rate was very reasonable and the room was clean and warm. They had a pool and other amenities. We found the location too far from the main interstate that we came in on, but that was our fault when using hotels.com and checking the distance better. There is a gas station right next door for travelers and a 24 hour Walmart across the street. The coffee was even passable for hotel fare. Don't expect the Ritz and you will be satisfied. Read more

Hotel was clean, good amenities, great location right by the Ft Carson base and with a Target, bunch of other stores and good restaurants right next to it. Lobby was smaller than say, the Hampton Inn, but it was clean and cozy.

The Fairfield was a great place to stay for our family vacation. We loved the view from the parking lot was happy with the comfort level of our room, which was convieniently near an exit door as we came and went often. Would definately consider staying here again in the future!

The hotel has been remodelled but the service was not up to par. Little things like having to ask for an extra towel (my wife and my daughter stayed wit me but service left two towels) twice, having to ask for soap, etc. was not expected. Breakfast room was not the best although was not terrible either.

Staff was friendly, nice continental breakfast. We were on 3rd floor didn't hear people in the hall or next room. I would stay there again. The hotel is very close to all kinds of business and tourist spots.

It was nice but the hot water didn't heat up until i was out of the shower and I had it all the way up. Breakfast selection was a little limited but overall ok! The sheets smelled a bit too much like bleach but at least they were clean.

Checked into to hotel, employee stated may not be clean quite yet, get to the room there are still people in the room. get another room from front desk, was not cleaned yet. overall stay was not too bad. Felt like food was lacking for breakfast and it was only 8:30 when we got there.

We had to make a last minute reservation due to snowy conditions. I've stayed in comparable hotels in the area before and this was the cleanest and nicest hotel for this price range. The beds were comfortable and the pool was clean. Will stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The only problem we had was trying to reach the hotel from Lake Ave., as the street leading to it was not marked as being the turn-off. We needed a room for an evening in Colorado Springs and looked around. After reviewing several different locations we decided upon this hotel. We arrived a little bit early and were greeted and given our room. We went to the room and I must say it was much nicer than expected especially for the price. The pool area was clean and nice and the hot tub was very nice and relaxing.
