The only thing that really bothered me was the checkin. The gentleman took about 30 mins to check me in due to errors he made on the rate I prepaid with hotels.com. I was exasperated & just wanted to get out of my heels & into a comfy bed.

I had stayed here previously, and that was for one night. During that stay, I overlooked a few things, or was not exposed to them. The breakfast area needs many more tables, or needs to be discontinued completely. Each of the three mornings we were there, we had to take our meager breakfast back to the room and eat off the coffee table. The hotel was great. Service was great. Room was nice. But the surrounding neighborhood was ruined down. And T night its close to the railroad tracks. So you can hear the trains. I couldn't get a full nights rest.

We had a 2 night stay. Staff very freindly. Breakfast was the usual hotel continental breakfast but unlike most other places we've been to, the diningroom was very clean and well stocked. They have someone fully dedicated to taking care of just the breakfast room.

We stayed here on a vacation thinking it was within walking distance to the river walk but it is much too far to walk. The location other than that had good access to the hiways. The hotel was a little noisy especially in the AM as there is a dog boarding business across the street and dog barking was disturbing.

Nothing special about this place - it's older but in good shape. What's great is free parking, free wifi and free breakfast. That, plus nice big rooms makes this a great deal compared to the hotels right on the Riverwalk. It's a 5 minute drive instead.

Great motel and great rates - but if you plan to do any walking at night wouldn't reccommend it. But you can get a taxi easy and is not expensive. Would probably stay again.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We arrived very late, around midnight and got great service. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. A lot of extras for the price. You get what you pay for. Location is close to downtown. Rooms are comfortable, people in the front desk are pretty gentle and helpful. We spent 5 nights in 2 bedrooms with my family and we didn't have any issues other than the room key had to be reset twice and the fridge in both bedrooms was very noisy. Great hotel and staff! Just surrounding neighborhood isn't so great but close enough to Riverwalk. Cab ride was about $7.00! Was in town for my daughter's graduation at Lackland Air Force Base. Would stay there again! Great price!

The room was very cozy. We've never been a hotel room with a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom for an average of $70.00 a night. We were very comfortable there.

Very nice room and very nice hotel staff. The breakfast was good. The location was not very nice but it was not a bad neghborhood, it is just a little outside downtown, so not walkable but less than 5 min of drive. The hotel had the best housekeeping staff that I have seen in our 7 years of travel. I always see housekeeping who is in rush to clean the […] room and want you out of the room at the earliest possible. Here the housekeeping staff were very courteous and let us have the time to get the kids ready and move out of our room without knocking again and again. At breakfast also, they refilled everything without having to ask and even let the breakfast run later than 10 am. Even after 10am they asked us multiple times before removing everything. The room was very large - had a king bed and a pull out sofa. There was a big screen tv, also. The service was phenominal, all of the employees were very helpful and extremely friendly. Breakfast was exactly as I'd expect, and the Texas-shaped waffles were a nice touch. The location was, at best, ok. It took about 10 minutes to get to market square […] and about 20-25 to get to the Alamo by foot. This is fine during the day, but I would feel uncomfortable walking along the dark road on S. The hotel is in very poor conditions. The room smelled like mildew. The stairs walking to room was broken. This is not a 2 star hotel. There was cops in the parking lot all night pulling guess over as they where entering and exiting the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
