I could see the lake from my room, which is always nice :). The rooms are clean and comfortable. There's also a ski/bike storage area for free as well. MacDuff's Pub next door has great food and drinks. Would stay here again next time I'm in tahoe.

I enjoyed my stay. My kids loved the popcorn machines, accessibility of the heated pool and hot tub, and the sleighs. Breakfast was good but I recommend some cereal dispensers.

When we first arrived we were greeted by a long line of cars waiting to check in. Once we walked in we were immediately greeted by friendly staff. First she tried to charge me more for my room than what I had already paid. Once I spent twenty minutes checking in I headed to the room. Fifth floor. I open the door to find two double beds... ? really? […] NOt exactly how I wanted to spend the hubbys birthday night. Immediately called downstairs and talked to a DIFFERENT clerk. Who immediately corrected this issue as I had paid for a king room. He sent me to the tenth floor. Over all it was a fun night. Just be prepared to loose in every slot machine, wait forever to get NO service at harrahs restaurants (We actually walked out).. and dont expect a great nights sleep. The bed was VERY uncomfortable. The husband and I both woke up hurting from more than the booze. Not sure I would go back. I like harveys rooms better. Read more

I put a 3 for comfort, because when we got there we found out the king size bed for my husband and I turned into 2 queen. We were told that when we make a reservation that the size of bed is not guaranteed. I have never been told that at any other hotel that we stayed at. our only negative was that they provide u with a great kuerig coffee maker....however.if u want a cup you'll need to BUY the pods from their snack fridge...which is $ 4.99. so actually theres no free coffee in the am....

I had not gone to Tahoe for a few years; I enjoyed the ride plus the weather was beautiful, very clean air and crisp. The casino though was full of smoke. I think they should have a non-smoking area for the people that do not smoke.

WE REALLY ENJOYED OUR SAY HERE. WE WANTED TO STAY AT THE CASINO SO THAT IF WE COULDN'T GO TO SLEEP WE COULD JUST GO DOWN STAIRS AND GAMBLE OR HAVE SOME DRINKS. Kind of pricey, and lots of little sticks with fees and whatnot, but overall a great experience. Very clean, very modern, easy to navigate, fast moving hotel with good food and great games. Location was close to everything. Parking lot kind of sucked but the car didn't mind.

i was not informed a fifty dollar deposit was required neither by website i booked with nor while checking in. as a result i had to call in more money for my travel card via international call which was ridiculus at five dollars a minute. in australia it costs me a dollar fifty a minute.... this is highway robbery. nothing more. so call cost me 94 dollars […] after being kept on hold by my bank. the manager was nice enough to remove twenty five dollars from bill but this wouldnt have been needed if i knew a deposit was required you had my credit card details you dont need to break my budget. nice hotel but i wont be returning as i didnt even get to enjoy the snow Read more

They nickel and dime you to death and charge $11 for in room wifi for each component per 24 hours. Thats like charging for carry on bags. And don't waste your time on the buffet

I loved everything about the hotel except the maids were knocking on our door to clean at 8:00am exactly!! I have 4 children and half my visit was to rest. We enjoyed a night out and then got woke up early for cleaning. Otherwise it was good location and nice hotel. The rooms were great!! Had a his and hers bathroom set up which I loved!!!

The hotel is great with a kind staff and good service. I would like to recommend a review about your smoking policy. Besides the fact there's a casino at the hotel a lot of smoking guests use to smoke in forbidden areas.

Went with my wife and one year old for a one night trip to Tahoe. It was extremely cold and there was beautiful snow everywhere. we walked trough Harrah's and Havey's and besides the smoke, which wasn't terrible, we had a very nice time. Restaurant downstairs at Harrahs was was good and everything at the hotel was first class.

For a world class casino it was simply disappointing. The restaurants, the drinks, especially the available microbrews. Seemed like they are entrenched in the 80s, refusing to update decor, food or ambiance. I'll avoid this in the future.

There is no safe in the room, nice that there are 2 bathrooms, rooms very large, nice to be comunicated with a small entry foyer to the kids room. dinner buffet closes too early. not too nice of a view for kids with the casino. Great view of lake tahoe

Got an executive room on the 13th floor. The view was spectacular with 180 degree views of the lake, the gondola, the runs going all the way to the observation deck and the mountains in the distance. But that's where the pros of the room end. The room looks as though someone had done a very half-hearted renovations. Fixtures above the bed were modern, […] everything else was from the 80s. The seam between the window and the window frame was patched with BLACK DUCT TAPE!!! And that too in a premium room. Wow! Furniture was really old, look like it belongs in a flea market.
