For the price you really can't beat it. Rooms were a good size and they were clean. The shower was a little outdated but for the money you pay you can't expect for it to be brand new. Overall a good stay for 3 days.

The bed was not that comfortable. The cable connection was horrible all the channels were fuzzy. There was a half inch gap at the bottom of the door causing a wind tunnel effect. It was fine for sleeping there, not much else.

We are not picky about hotels and don't require much. But this motel was even too much for us. Our deadbolt was broken, the lampshades were ripped, the shower was cracked and dirty enough that we decided to wait and not shower. The price was reasonable, so I'm not sure if I should complain. I got clean towels, shampoo and coffee. The bathroom floor was terribly sticky and was still sticky the second night after I complained. I also noticed a lot of dust over and under the wood furniture. The staff seemed friendly enough and the hotel was at a prime location.

For the price, it is about what one would expect. The rooms and hotel are OLD. Could seriously use a remodel, tubs could use resurfacing...and not cool that access to the bay is not allowed.

When we checked in the lady was rude and rolled her eyes more than once. And the lobby was closed so we were forced to stand outside in the cold when she was setting us up. We finally found our room and decided that it was okay for such a cheap room. The next morning we woke up and went to check out and get the "breakfast" they said they had. There […] was two types of cereal and toast. And there was absolutely nobody at the front desk. Later when my friend went back to see if somebody was there yet. She said that they were all in a hotel room eating a big breakfast and she had to knock on the door to get somebody who worked there to help her. While she was doing that we were in the room searching it because we lost my car keys and then we realized how utterely disgusting the room was. There was dirt and cell phone cases and tops of bottle caps behind the beds, that have pretty easy access with a broom and none of us would set foot in the showere, I think there was stuff growing in there. They didn't have anything like toothbrush or razors at the front desk anyway. And then they threatened to charge us an extra 150 dollars because my friend had come to say hi and brought her dog which never went into the room. It was overall the worst hotel experience I have ever had and I do not recomend this place unless they go under new management and get more helpful and cleaner. It's sad because a its a great location for just sitting on the beach for a couple days. Read more

This is an older property that was a Holiday Inn back in the 1950s. The room had been redone fairly recently, with new furniture and carpet. When I checked into the property, there was a glitch with my reservation but I was able to show proof of my booking and the clerk corrected the problem. I had to get an iron and ironing board and an extension cord […] from the front desk, and the young lady there was helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was minimal but adequate. One thing to note is that this property is on Willoughby Spit. It has water directly on one side and very close on the other. Right near the water, which was nice. Next time I will book upstairs so I can see over the sand dunes and out to the water. My sister noticed mildew on the walls and ceiling. Oh my, where do I being. The room was awful, but we were so tired, we were glad to have a bed. The bathroom was a sight, very old. They had a clean bedpad on bed, but I wouldn't dare check further. As for the continental breakfast, there was cereal and another cereal. This hotel stay was disappointing. When we arrived at the Super 8 you can tell it needed updated. Once we got to our room it was not cleaned, the shower was moldy and the toilet mad a loud noise when it flushed. The view was beautiful looking out to the chesepeake bay. It was convenient and low priced. U definitely wont stay here again.

Room was facing beach and very clean. Only two things would have made this a perfect stay. First, tv channels 2-8 were very fuzzy, which was not good considering I wanted to watch my shows on channel 3. And second, water only got Luke warm. Would have been nice to have a steaming hot shower

Room was clean, though not shiny and new. Shower and AC and heat worked well. Staff were friendly and helpful. Not a five star establishment, but rates were quite reasonable and the room was quite suitable.

Stayed here for a couple nights. It was economical, but that's about the only reason I'd stay again. The front desk staff was friendly enough, but the rooms were dirty, and in disrepair. Seemed like a rough neighborhood. I couldn't be sure but it looked like femal escorts were working at this hotel. Room was comfortable but smelled badly of mildew. Many rust stains and paint chipping. Great view of the ocean. But I won't stay there again.

This place was perfectly OK for the price, especially considering the nice locale right on the beach. Granted, it's not the same type of beach as if you were on the ocean further south, but that is just what it is! No surprise and clean beach and room. The carpet and bedding looked new enough. Nice stay... For what I paid could not ask for more. Nice view of the bay, hotel was quit, in a nice lil area. Not to far out from other stuff. A 20-25 min drive to the beach. If it was me and the wife only would have stayed at the lil beach at the hotel.

This was a very poor example of what I have come to expect from Super 8. This particular hotel is falling apart with nobody to take care of it. The carpet and shower were filthy, and the towel rack and toilet handle kept coming off. The bedsheets were clean, and the mattress was comfortable. I had some difficulty getting extra washcloths and a hand […] towel. While it is literally on the beach, there are no accommodations, such as chairs, to use. The pool had a lot of dirt and such in it, and we did not go there. The laundry room had one working washer, and both the washers/dryers cost $2 each. I would not stay here again. The staff could be friendlier. Other than that, the stay was good. The hotel is on the bayside with easy access to the water. My room was clean and beds were comfortable. My niece's room smelled of prior food which should have been cleaned/sprayed to eliminate the odor. Had a nice time and would stay again.
