All European beds are uncomfortable to me, this was no different. And it is on the far side of GVA, so if you are walking to grab a bite to eat, you will be walking for a while. Reserved a room for 3 adults and which is smoking, automatically received a room with two small beds. Cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. Service is bad, unless you consider good service to be waken-up at 7am on a Sunday (day of rest in switzerland) by the maids while they are cleaning rooms next door and chitchatting in the halls loudly. We arrived early, the hotel staff stored our bags and gave us free tram tickets for the family to go to the centre of Geneva. This meant we did not have to sit around and wait until our rooms were ready. The tram station is 5 minutes walk away and we got off the tram at Bel Aire which was right on the lake with a fine view of the Geneva fountain. To be fair, this was my first trip to Switzerland, so my review is relative to hotels I've stayed at elsewhere, in other countries, etc. The hotel is located in a convenient location near the airport and freeway entrances/exits. I stayed at the hotel for a week. Great parking, however the procedure to get out of the parking garage was a pain each day. […] The staff in reception were helpful and friendly. The room was of good size, but the two single beds pushed together was a new one for me and extremely uncomfortable. Housekeeping was very disappointing. Skimpy on towels, and when we grabbed some extras from the front desk, housekeeping took our extra clean towels the next morning so we kept having to get extras. They were also bad about refilling coffee for the coffee maker, soap for the bathroom, etc. It seemed like we had to constantly call the front desk for items that are automatic at every other hotel we've ever stayed at. We booked here because of the price, and the convenience to the airport. The room met our needs, but was somewhat stuffy (temperature). I should probably asked for a window crank at the front desk, but being so near the airport I opted fo deal with temperature rather than noise of planes. The room and the hotel were clean. Parking for one night was 28 euros, incl tax, which seems pretty high, but Geneva prices are high across the board from what I have read. This was cutting it a little close for us to get to the airport and check in, so, rather than spending 40 Swiss francs for a taxi, we took a very early morning bus. The hotel is 6 miunutes away to the airport and the trains connect easily with downtown Geneve. Museums and Malls. Hotel staff is excelent, very friendly and supportive. Only complaint: Internet connection in the rooms should be free of charge as any business hotel.

The NH Geneva Airport is a wonderful property that is well priced and offers more amenities than other airport locations. The hotel is well located to GVA and offers a complimentary shuttle, though certain early morning depatures may require a taxi. The staff is knowlegable and helpful with flight and departure information. There are computers located […] in the lobby to assist with flight check-in and boarding passes. The are also ample meeting rooms for congresses/meetings. The restuarant is quite large and offers a complimentary breakfast...again, early departures may not qualify. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. There is aircraft noise, but not late at night, so sleeping is not a problem. Beds and linens are fresh and very comfortable. Room service is high quality, but has a limited menu and seems a bit pricey. I would absolutely stay at this location again for a stop in Geneva and would highly recommend it for business travelers. There is also convenient and complimentary shuttle to the airport for a conncection to the trains to get to downtown Geneva or other parts of Switzerland. Read more

In fact we plan to go back to Switzerland in 2012 and could fly into either Geneva or Milan .. will probably choose Geneva because our experience was so positive here .. check in/room itself/hotel appearance inside/staff friendliness .. just the whole thing. Nice and modern hotel. Very "design" and business oriented. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean, spacious, and quiet (a great plus!). The facility also includes underground parking (for a fee). The hotel is located about 10 minutes from the Geneva-Cointrin Airport, but due to roadwork in Meyrin, it was very difficult to find (by private […] car). To avoid this problem, the Hotel shuttle bus from the Geneva Airport would be a better alternative.
