This hotel is very old, but clean. The weekend I stayed it was very cold outside, so naturally I wanted to enjoy the hot tub. The indoor pool and hot tub were located almost a block from my room, making it very troublesome to get to and from, especially in a swimming suit, or wet! I finally decided to wear my clothes and change in the restroom at the pool. When I arrived there wer so many in the hot tub, you had to wait in line...at 10:30 pm!!!!!!!!! Breakfast was even worse.....there was a 30 minute wait to get to the food in the continental buffet.

Hotel was what we expected for the price range. Room was clean and good sized. Continental breakfast was about like others-could have used some fresh fruit, but did offer cereal, waffles, toast, etc. Good place to go if you need a base of operations and aren't planning to be in the room alot-otherwise, there are more comfortable places to stay. They need to consider putting ironing boards and irons in the rooms. Overall, we were satisfied with the hotel.

The breakfast was only served from 7-9 a.m. which was not enough time to properly serve all of the guests staying during a weekend. The breakfast room was standing room only and the food stations were running empty of food. The windows in our hotel room are only covered with blinds. There were no room-darkening drapes, so the room was bright at daylight. We were bombarded with rules at check-in (which must occur between 3-8 p.m.), plus there was an additional sheet of rules in our room.

Our Frist trip to Banson. This was a good clean place to stay and used it as a base to check out the area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only things I see need to be improved is the WI_FI. We were in the back of the property and did not have access in our room had to go to the lobby get it. They also need to provide the WIFI Password and ID so you can log on. I had to ask for it. Small problem . I would recommend this motel to others.

My only complaints were that there isn't much too the continental breakfast, (except for the make-you-own cinnamon waffles) and the indoor pool was COLD!!! We really enjoyed our stay. We have stayed at several other hotels in the area and we were very happy with our stay here. They had a great breakfast. Not a lot of items to choose from, but the waffles and biscuits & gravy were yummy!! We also did not have to worry about running out of hot water. My only concern is that the water got scalding hot almost immediately. Great for heating bottles, but could be dangerous for little ones washing their hands. Even the faucet itself would get very hot. All in all, we were very pleased. We will stay there again an will recommend to our friends!!!

Our three teenage girls loved this place. We had easy access to SDC and shows. The outdoor and indoor pools were a big hit. The jacuzzi was actually well-heated which was a huge plus for us (most hotels do not heat their jacuzzi enough to be worth climbing into). The service was good; staff very kind and accommodating. Thumbs down on the towels - they are rough and scratchy. However, it is great that they provide separate towels in the pool areas. The breakfast has room for improvement. Biscuits very stale. Make-your-own cinnamon waffles were good. They could use some fresh fruit and yogurt.

They could probably use some spraying around the buildings and it may help control the ants.
