Very clean hotel with all the neccesities. An easy ten minute cab journey from the airport and a nice downhill ten minute walk to centre of town/beach. Staff are mostly accomodating but can be a little rude. No safety deposit box - you leave your bollowings locked behind front desk and sign them in and out (was vary at first but this was fine). Breakfast is ten euros which sounds a lot but will save you money in the long run as town eateries (even the low market ones) are pricey.

Good position 5-10 minutes walk from the front. The room was small but everything worked OK. Limited satelite channels with only CNN in English. Good sized pool. Restaurant looked OK but was closed as out of season (January)

Hotel on bus line 6 from the airport and within 10 to 15 minutes walk to town centre, bus station and a few more minutes to the promenade. While room was small and relatively basic it met the needs of anyone who wants to use the hotel for a break and is into sight seeing and travelling in the region. We got local transport to Bayonne and St.Jean de Luc and also went by train to san Sebastian in Spain. Our major negative was the poor weather. It rained every second day during the week we spent there (first wek in November)and we had to access the internet to get weather forecasts to help us plan ahead our daily itinerary. The only major negative with the hotel was that the staircase smelled of dampness and the 2 nd floor corridor (where our accommodation was located) was very dull. The 3rd floor seemed to be brighter and more recently furnished. But we found the hotel to be "value for money" and met all the criteria for a couple on a late autumn/early winter break and interested in exploring and walking! would recommend for similar minded folk! Not the lap of luxury or somewhere to bring kids.
