Motel 6 is a secod-rate motel with minimal conveniences----small room, no breakfast, generally run-down appearance. They have improved the property from a year ago, however. Location is good for golf fans, and premises were clean.

Poorly maintained room. This is an older Motel 6 with minimal room comforts and amenities. Mattress on a platform with no box spring, no chair, no table or desk. The room needed to be refurbished 10 years ago. We were gouged for the Masters, which is fine, but please the room is not worth the lowest price quoted.

We stayed here because it was convenient for us to walk to Augusta National. I felt like I was staying in a dorm room - very sparse with no frills. The bath towels were small, there was no closet or phone and the a/c was dirty and noisy, but the room, mattress and bedding were clean enough and that's what matters most to me. Overall, nothing to write […] home about. The front desk staff was nice and for $6 per person they provided a shuttle to the course in the morning. Being able to walk back at the end of the day made our stay worthwhile. Read more

The hotel put water savings aerators on the faucet and it did not provide enough water pressure to brush my teeth. The shower was also terrible and did not provide enough water to rinse off. The towels were very thin and they did not provide enough for the two of us. The floors in the room were linoleum and felt sticky on bare feet. The TV stations […] faces for voice did not match up wit the sounds - cold not watch it. The bed was OK, but they provided little pillows (less than 2' wide) which made it difficult to sleep. I know it's a motel 6, and I know it was masters week, but thus was hands down the dirtiest mist run down motel I've ever stayed in. Come on, for $285 a night they could at least make the beds and give you clean towels.

Me and a friend stayed at this hotel for a Monday practice round at the Masters. The motel is an old property, but it looks like they have recently done some renovations to it. The room was horrible. It smelt like smoke and was just old and dirty. The bed was hard as a rock and half the channels didn't work on the TV. The mini-fridge made a clicking […] sound the entire time and the water pressure was laughable. Oh and the bed spread had cigarette burns on it. Room was horrible- everything was dirty. My husband and I had to share one pillow because the rest were dirty. The floor was sticky and the room smelled. There was no hair dryer or alarm clock in the room. We got up extra early just so we could get out of there....

first of all the elevalor smelled terrible light over bathroom mirror did not work didn't have any wash towels the first night and last there was a roach in the bathtub will not be staying there again

Well I knew that it was not going to be 4 or 5 star rated ...... because it was Motel 6, but I truly thought that it would be a couple of steps up from what it was. Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful but they did not have the tools to work with to have guest want to return. There were never enough towels, you either had A towel but not a Face […] Cloth, a Face Cloth but not a Towel . If we needed to get Ice you had to go downstairs to the lobby because like most of the equipment the Ice Machine as broken. The morning Coffee was a hjoke because the coffee pots could brew but the coffee was not very HOT, so you pour the coffee into a little 8oz cup and then place it into the nastiest little microwave in Georgia. once again there were some employees that were great they tried but could not cover what was obvious franchise owner's CHEAPNESS Spend some money put some back intoyour establisment and give employees the proper tools to work with., Read more

Room has no warmth with the fake hardwood floors. They left a 3/4 used roll of toilet paper that was nasty. The comforter on my bed had stains that the staff said were from the linens washer. They brought me up a replacement for a queen bed and my bed was a king. I was too tired to complain so I went to bed. We stayed for a sporting event in augusta it was close to downtown, very clean, and had a nice decor. For the price the room was excellent couldnt of asked for more. First room didnt look clean, bed linens were flfthy. second room was a smoker, then with the third room i compromised by accepting a queen bed instead of the booked king. receptionist was shouting on the phone to either a customer or a co-worker. But I guess it is a Motel 6, so would you expect anything else?

We made our reservations in advance. When we got there our room was hot and the air did not cool the room. We asked for an other room and was given another one on the same floor. The air still was not on but did cool down in an hour. The new wood floors are better than carpet but need to use a steam cleaner on them to make sure they are clean. Domestic abuse, people living in hotel rooms, parties with human "drunk" traffic all night. The hotel was not only not acceptable, but I believe is not a safe place for people to reside.

The Motel 6 in Augusta, GA is a nice, convenient place to stay if attending the Masters. It is not steeped in luxury but the onsite staff are extremely nice and very accomodating to the needs of their guests.

Friendly staff, could have been cleaner. No bed pad for bed, simply sheet and mattress. Small thin towels. Adequate for Masters week. Good price and location.

The hotel staff were awesome! Took care of every need immediately. Although the room was costly, as were all rooms for the Masters Week, the Staff, Location, and Excellent condition of the room made this a good value. Would highly recommend!

Got two rooms for one night as we were in town to see Practice Round at The Masters. The rooms photograph well an they appear to be "euro", but were spartan, and one lacked even bath towels.

I felt dirty immediately upon entering the establishment. The floors, walls, and air stunk of tobacco, musk, and just plain body funk. If I had not prepaid with hotel.com, I would have sacrificed and spent more at a different hotel. The building was a smoking one and the stench greeted me like an evil green monster. I reserved 2 rooms one for myself […] and a second for my daughter and granddaughters. I apologized profusely for exposing them to such a low class facility. I'm sure there were drug and sex parties going on....On a different note, my room looked just like the picture on the internet. Yes, flat screen tv and modern furniture but the bathrooms were not updated and the sheets were dingy. Was told place is undergoing renovations, but I think that is a coverup. Read more

It was creepy when I was there. Military kids were standing around being loud and obnoxious. They even recorded me as I was leaving the parking lot to get some food. It was just uncomfortable. And the front desk didn't do or say anything. Lame excuse
