They had lost my prepaid reservation and currenly I have paid twice> There was popcorn on the floor when I arrived and it ws still there when I left> hotel in need of renovation> Very nice staff.

First impression: Run down, dark, ugly carpets. But when I got to my room, the beds were new and very nice, there was a lovely little chair and ottoman with a floor lamp, nice furniture, and the temperature of the room was perfect. The TV is an old model, and you have to play with the 2 remotes to figure out which one turns on the TV and which controls […] volume and channels. The bathroom was very nice but needed some touch-ups. There is a very nice gym attached to the hotel with a pool, but it's a bit embarrassing to go in a swimsuit down the hall to the gym and have to pass the staff at the gym just to go for a swim. I was looking forward to our stay at the Drawbridge Inn. I was travelling with my husband and my 2 small girls. When we arrived at the hotel for the weekend, we were sent to our room. When walking down the corridor to our room, we came to a fire door. This was the entrance to the Smoking Section of the hotel rooms. We were appalled. We were not told, […] either when booking the room or when we checked in, that we were stuck in a smoking room. We don't smoke!! It was disgusting. People were actually smoking in the hallways and the smoke came into our room. If I had been told, we would not have booked the room. The management's attitude was also disappointing; when we complained, we were told "it was the only room we had available". Unfortunately, all other rooms in all other hotels in Sarnia were booked for the weekend at that point so we were stuck. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VERY POOR HOTEL EXPERIENCE. WE WON'T GO BACK!!!
