The grounds are beautiful, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the food at T Cooks was fabulous. Only negative, a small TV in a big armoire looked kind of strange and was pretty far from the bed which made viewing a bit straining.

The royal palms was stellar, totally amazing. Extremely relaxing and intimate. Every employee was gracious , happy, and very helpfull. The valet guys were the best we have had anywhere. If I could make one complaint .... The pool staff could have used one more helper part time. They worked there ?#*'s off. You had some guests at the time we were there […] that were cigar smokers. Love the atmosphere and all of the little hideaway spots. This resort feels much cozier than its actual size and we had a great time. Next time we'll pay more attention to making eating reservations though. Restaurant was great but very busy and we didn't have time to stick around for the hour wait for Sunday brunch.

The resort had an overall beautiful appearance, but then we got to our room and there was a gap underneath the door where rain was swept in and the carpet got wet. Also no hot water in the morning due to the light being out on the water tank. Breakfast was not included and was very expensive. Bed was so high and uncomfortable.

Royal Palms has always been on our bucket list of places we wanted to stay. On this trip we had a 3 day package at another property and it was so bad we looked on line and found we could stay at Royal Palms. We booked immediately and we are glad we did. Our suite was spacious and comfortable, the staff is well trained and helpful. We love the location. […] One thing we especially like is that everything from fitness center to WiFi to valet parking and most important tipping is included in the Resort Fee. I had been to the well known bar at the Royal Palms but never stayed as a guest until last week. It was very pleasant, and obviously a great location. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. My suite was roomy, comfortable and quiet. My only small complaint is the resort fee which is on top of the Hotels.com price. We really liked our designer casita. The staff was ever so helpful, the place is gorgeous and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Hotel is pricey and you expect excellent care. Wife went to spa first day for massage and was treated very well. Next day went to do excercise and since she didn't paid for any service was treated not very nice. No locker or slippers were available for her. This is not what you expect from this type of hotel.

Everything was perfect. The place is gorgeous and the staff absolutely amazing. This is probably the best resorts in the US we have stayed in so far. It totally set the bar. We got first a beautiful Valencia Casita but unfortunately due to the recent renovation the internet was not working there. In just half an hour the had moved us to a Estate Suite. […] I wish we could have been able to stay in the casita because it was gorgeous but the suite was perfect too. One evening when we had dinner at the T. Cook's my husband was suddenly served a second plate of the same meal he was already eating. After some confusion we found out that the chef had not been happy with the meal that had been brought to my husband (his intention had been to take it back before it left the kitchen but wasn't fast enough) so he prepared another one more to his liking. We told the waiter that we were more than happy with the food that had been originally served but they gave us the second plate anyway. Our friends ended up taking it home with them. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel amenities just drop dead gorgeous. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy a drink. The resort had a feel of old hacienda. This is a lovely hotel. It's small and intimate with lovely courtyards (lots of flowers, fountains, and comfy places to sit) and the design is incredibly welcoming (& the staff is too!). The spa is wonderful - Sharron is a wonderful mani- & pedicurist - and has lots of unique treatments, including watsu (not available the days we were there though). […] The restaurant (T Cook's) was good too - it has gorgeous big round tables, comfy chairs, and helpful waitstaff (you can also get half portions of the entrees which is great if you don't eat a lot!). This would be a great place for a small group retreat, where you want to sit and talk amidst beautiful surroundings and feel very well-taken care of. The details are taken care of, so you know when Mona the concierge makes a recommendation it will be well worth it. I also appreciated the nightly turndown service and our giant soaking tub!! THIS WA THE BEST HOTEL OUT OF OUR 10 that we stayed during our long trek!! Unfortunately it was at the END of our vacation and we only had one day :( . I would have loved to have stayed a week! The day we got there to check in for our overnight stay for our annivesary, we were told that the pool was closed and also the fitness center was going through some repairs. There were also rooms being refurbished. Even with that information, they charged us a resort fee anyway and said they would shuttle us down the street to a nearby resort pool AND […] also would shuttle us the other way if we wanted to work out. We are used to stay in executive hotels and when we booked this one we were alitte hesitant, however we loved it. It is very cozy and very tastely decorated.
