I reserved and paid in advance for 3 rooms. The women went to have their nails done. The men (including 3 boys under the age of 5) went to the hotel to check in. My husband called me saying they couldn't check in without the confirmation number. I gave him the Hotels.com confirmation number. The Marriott told him they needed their hotel confirmation number. I didn't have any other number so the men had to wait until I could get there to check in.

Great location to Rush University
Great location to visit family living in little Italy. Parking is pricy. Easy walk to blue line to visit downtown or just walk to terrific restaurants on Taylor st.

I would like to think that this hotel's location and price per night should have free parking available.

Nice place if money is not an option.
This hotel is way overpriced! I knew that going in because I wanted close proximity to the United Center for a concert. The rooms were priced over $100 more for special event nights than a regular evening. I paid over $650 dollars for two nights! That is just the room price. Not including the extra $10 a night they charge for wifi and also not including parking. They want $46 a night for valet or you can walk two blocks to the medical center parking garage which I chose to do for $13.50 a night, saved over $65 bucks. Room was supposed to have microwave and it didn't. Had a fridge that didn't work so they brought a different one. Room size is nice and hotel is well kept, but it's not worth what they charge, I just wanted to be able to walk to United Center so I bit the bullet on this one.

Great hotel in a not-so-great neighborhood
The neighborhood leaves a lot to be desired. I stayed here because I had business at the IUC. You have to walk a few blocks to find anything restaurants or coffee, unless you want to eat in the hotel restaurant. The staff was great and accommodating -- early check-in and late check-out.
