Days Inn in Casselberry looks like a Motel instead of a Hotel... Appearance is Motel type...Stayed at motels Better than this Hotel!! Guest services AWFUL..Too bad We will never stay again or recommend to anyone!!! For the price is tooo much not worth it!!!

This is a motel and a nice motel. Not a hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was mostly carbs but included. Nice attendant. Great for the price.

I was very disappointed the hotel is very old and out dated. This hotel is in need of renovation bad. The hotel clerk stated to me you get what you pay for I knew I was in trouble then. I was charged extra fees for a microwave and fridge in room. I didn't request anything extra I thought that was part of the accommdations.

The room had new beds and linens. It was very comfortable and clean. Good water pressure and a nice amount of hot water as well. The pool needed a little TLC and the breakfast was lacking. (I overheard several other guests saying the same thing.) The wifi was spotty. The rooms are much better than the hotel, if that makes any sense.

We were pleased with our room. Only two minor complaints: 1. the bathroom floor did not appear to have been mopped after the last guest, although the rest of the room was clean; and 2. Hotels.com neglected to mention the small additional fee and the mandatory security deposit (it would have been nice to know about that in advance, as we hadn't expected […] to come out of pocket after paying for the room online). We had booked a nearby hotel... Drove up to it and exterior was extremely unkept. So we went here and checked in. First we were charged an additional fee from the hotels.com price paid for use of microwave, refrigerator, and safe? We needed no safe or microwave but did have a cooler we would transfer to fridge. Staff were very nice and pleasant. Breakfast was not good. Bread hard as a rock and not very much food was out - things were empty or almost empty. Room was ok but bed was a little uncomfortable.

Was really disappointed by the hotel and its staff. Upon check in, after booking on Hotels.com, was informed there was an additional "fee" of $3.33 per night for the microwave/fridge in the room. Seriously? Two of my washcloths had stains on them and the room smelled of mildew and stale smoke. It may have been a smoking room previously. This days inn is priced very cheaply so it served our purpose. The pool was cold and the hot tub did not work. The rooms are clean. I didn't ask for a microwave, fridge or a sofa sleeper when I booked the room so I didn't think I should have to pay extra for items I didn't need. It was fine. I am disappointed in that the representative of hotels.com with whom I spoke, when I stated that I needed a "pet friendly" hotel, did NOT tell me that there would be an EXTRA charge. That was an unhappy surprise, when I checked into the hotel.

when i book the hotel thru hotel.com. they told me a lot of things but fail to inform me that (1) i would have to put a 25.00 deposit on the room. which i did cause i got it back. (2) i would be charge 3 dollars and change for having a sofa, microwave and such in the room. why should i have to pay for something days inn decide to put in there. i never […] sat on the sofa. and beside there were extra chairs in the room. i have stayed in many hotels and all have a microwave and NO CHARGE. I really did have a problem with this and the receptionst did say it is on the reservation i should have read it. yes this is true.I should have read the fine print. But i think this is another way to make money cause they know the reservation has been made and u will be charged if you do not stay. I have never had this charge before and I have stayed at a lot of hotels, but I can say I will probably not stay at this one again. To charge for things that should be in the room already or at least give the guest the option do they want these things then tell them there will be a charge. Hotel was ok. Room spacious, great AC. outside nothing to get excited for at all. Hotels.com stated 9 miles away and was more like 13-15 miles. Did alot of driving especially with the traffic around the area due to all the parents dropping of kids for college. Would only do again because of low price.

When I saw how inexpensive the room was I should have known that it was going to be a not so nice hotel. We arrived late so the front doors were locked and the clerk had to let us in. That was a sign that the neighborhood was probably not all that great. The guy was nice but not very well groomed. So he checks us in and we go to our room. Upon entering […] our room I noticed the outside of the hotel was very unkept. Lots of bugs and it smelled really bad outside. I am not sure what the smell was or where it was coming from, but it was bad. It didn't go away as I could smell it both days after getting out of my car. The sheets on the bed were clean, that is the first thing I always check, the toilet was clean, the tub was clean, and so was the sink area. I think that is all that housekeeping does clean. The carpeting looked clean, but needed to be vacuumed a little better. The armoirre where the television is kept was dusty as was the front of the television. I could write my name in it. Also the inside of the microwave looked like it needed a good cleaning. The door to the room did not properly close. When shut and locked it had a nice sized gap in it. I was paranoid that bugs were going to come in. On a positive note, the bedding was clean, and so were the bathroom linens. And when we returned to our room the second night our beds were made and dirty bathroom linens were replaced. Read more

Management was not very cooperative and outwide of hotel was not very clean. I don't understand why I had to pay for something that was already in the room. Continnta breakfast could have had a little bit more breakfast to it. The hotel itself and lobby waw very small. I did not likemy stay at all. I would rae this hotel a 1 star.

Hotel was clean, which was my biggest worry. No frills, but good enough for the price we paid and what we needed (somewhere clean to spend the night before reaching our final destination). Manager was very nice. Building looks a bit run down from the outside, but the room was spacious and well kept.
