Fairfield Inn by Marriott Rochester East - Webster

It was a wonderful place to stay. The pool/Spa was great, The only problem we had was a coffee pot in the room didn't work. It was a beautiful area to visit. The Park on the Lake in Webster was a beautiful place to walk and watch the sunset.

This hotel was clean enough, medium price and near where we wanted to be. The rooms seemed tired and the bathroom was very small. Also a 20oz soda from the "snack shop" at the front desk was $3 which gives me a special kind of contempt, but that sort of pricing isn't unique to this property or brand.

We are a little older and appreciated that our room was situated on the 1st floor close to outside access several ways. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was all we wanted. Service was friendly and helpful.

Fairfield Inn is always a good place to stay. This is the 3rd time I have stayed there in the past 10 years and have never been disappointed. It's easy on/easy off from the interstate and close to shopping and eating. Close to Rochester and Lake Ontario.

Hotel was right off the interstate and convenient to a shopping plaza and was an easy drive in Rochester. Also a few minutes from a great park and shore area. The hotel room had a refreshing avant garde decor and was clean and comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool and spa and inclusive breakfast got us started on our day. Would stay there again. We had some difficulties finding the entrance to the hotel as it doesn't open to the main street. Apart of that it is fine, a good value for the price, and conveniently located.

I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. I can not remember the last time I have been in a hotel that was so clean. The continental breakfast offered a great variety, in my opinion. I was very happy that we chose this hotel.

Hotel was fine. I am not satisified with the service of Hotels.com. I prepaid for a certain room. We arrived late as planned and found the room we reserved was not available. It was too late to find another hotel so we were stuck with a smoking room.

The closet in our room smelled like a chemical factory (which made our clothes smell), the curtains didn't close properly which allowed the outside hotel light to shine in our room, the bed was terrible, the AC ran constantly, but never got the room below 76 degrees, the TV cable box unit was mounted inside a dresser drawer (which occupied a lot of […] space), the toilet was located too close to the bathroom sink (I felt like I was going to fall in it), the breakfast was a complete joke (my scrambled eggs were literally frozen), the decor in the room was terrible (blue and green), and lastly the hotel was overrun by a team of junior high soccer kids one night. Between 10:30 and 12:00 Saturday night, kids ran up and down the hall, yelling and screaming. I tried to call the front desk but nobody answered! I was forced to get up out of bed and confront the person at the front desk around midnight. To my surprise, the lobby had about a dozen out-of-control kids. The lobby looked like a playground. I literally had to shout over these kids to talk to the guy behind the desk. Clearly, the management/staff at this hotel has no idea how to run a proper hotel business. My wife and I feel like we got completely ripped off. I also suspect that the cleaning staff stole my iPod, but I can't prove it. Management said they best they could do is knock 20 dollars off our bill, but I haven't seen a penny. Read more

Upon check in at 10:00 PM we found the AC running full blast set at 60 degrees and the room was freezing. When we shut it off and attempted to heat it up some the heat would not come on. Called the front desk and they told us we were out of luck because there was no heat any where in the hotel.

Although the reason for this stay was a funeral, it did not lessen the positive feeling from hotel staff. (Last visit was for a wedding) Would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveller
