Hotel was nice and clean. Neighborhood was fine. A little noisy at night, a lot of commotion on the streets around 2:00am each night. It was close to shopping, food, and the cable cars. Was there for a family vacation. It was very convenient for the sights we were seeing. Nice to have unlimited in and out with valet parking also.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice bar, terrible check in/out"
Hotel was nice, wonderful bar. Check in/out time was very long and counter was poorly staffed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great service, nice room, unfortunate internet"
Love the room and the layout. Service very friendly. The room could use a little maintenance; one outlet was dead, so I had use one farther away from the desk to get things charged up. "Premium" internet slower than tethering to my phone; that sucks. Never better than 2mbps. I don't think this is unusual in SF, though; I've stayed at 5 different hotels […] in SF in the last year or so, and this was no worse than the others. Earplugs - this is awesome. I was regretting not having earplugs on the flight in. Now, it's probably because my room is right about the Powell Street BART station. But still. I like having earplugs. No fridge and no room service. I don't usually use room service, but I do like to get breakfast sometimes. Not the end of the world, but I might stay somewhere else if the rate was the same and breakfast in my room was an option. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very convenient from BART Powell Station.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Friendly, accommodating staff, clean comfortable room. The location is good; two blocks from Powell Street with restaurants, shopping and the cable car route. Breakfast buffet was a little disappointing: There was a good selection of items, but the pancakes were hard and cold. I thought it was pricey for a weekday buffet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place to stay."
Stayed for 4 nights. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was a bit pricey for the quality of food - I wouldn't recommend the breakfast... (We found a great place down the street which was better food and less than half the price of hotel). Service was good at hotel. Overall it was a good experience. Location was g […] reat. "No better place in the city!"
We always stay here when we stay in the city! We have found this hotel to be the most consistent and comfortable for our needs. This time was no exception...we were even able to get checked into our room at 7:20am. Awesome service!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is located on the cusp of the Tenderloin District, which is a known vagrant community. The people that linger around the outside of the hotel are seedy and scary. The grounds are unkempt and littered with trash. I went to the concierge desk with my two young children to get a map and nobody bothered to tell me what was lurking just 10 steps […] outside. When we came back and told them our terrifying experiences, they drew a large square on our map telling us to stay away from that area, basically only go East, not West. I do not recommend this hotel for families staying with children, or women staying alone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay was very typical for a big chained hotel. The room rate was extremely good. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is the key. We loved it! It is central, close to BART, and close to Union Square. However, because of the location, it is a happening and busy area. We were placed not on a high floor so we heard the street noise well […] into the night. Next time around, we'll ask for a higher floor. However, sometimes hotels charge you more for that. "Probably would find another Place to stay"
We stayed 3 days and they only came to clean 1 of the 3 days. We ran out of kleenex and TP. I felt the security was lacking as they have a side door next to the elevator that anyone can come in and hop onto the elevator and nobdy would see them. The neighborhood was good but I would never stay here again. The valet was quick.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was dusty and had trash hidden around. I'm also allergic to dust so I was sneezing the whole time I was there.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"NICE PLACE !!!"
Great staff - Great location - Great view !Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Noisy but nice."
Staff excellent. Room very noisy. You can hear everything on the street all hours of the night. Unfortunately, there was also construction at the time making it worse. Pillows need updating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not very impressed"
I spent just one night at the Parc 55 before return to Australia after a fantastic week in Yosemite. The room was tastefully furnished but seemed sterile and poorly lit and I was not pleased at the extra cost for internet after paying a high price for the room. This was the first time I had faced a change for wifi in the US. Would not go back to Parc […] 55. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I really want to say something positive about my stay, but as I sit here and type this, I just think of more and more problems. I had a nice enough room and bathroom. The bed and pillow were very comfortable without being too plush or soft. I had a gorgeous view from my room. The location is spectacular. The food in their Thai restaurant is delicious […] (albeit small portions). The view from their other restaurant is fantastic for being ground-level. The cons mostly have to do with the quality of room and quality of service. I quickly noticed that the furniture was pretty old. Despite how modern the lobby looks and the elevator paneling appears, the rooms themselves have not been updated in a while. The sliding glass door for the closet was semi-stuck and needed both hands on each side of the door to slide properly. The TV only worked to the extent that I could turn it on and manually change channels one at a time (none of the other functions loaded or worked). There's no room service. I asked housekeeping if they would be able to bring me an item. They said told me that if I called the housekeeping office, someone would bring me the item (not food). I called the housekeeping office and someone told me they would bring me the item. No one every brought me the item. It's one thing to say no; but it's another thing to say yes and not deliver. Overall, I think I will probably visit some other hotels in the future. I may come back to Parc 55 but not immediately. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Parc 55 - Blah"
The Parc 55 is a very pedestrian hotel. No way it evens sniffs 4 stars. Just a very normal Hilton. And being almost on Market Street means loud. We could hear the street noise at night from the 24th floor. $150 is fair since it is in SDF, but if I would have paid more that $200 I'd really be mad. A lot of noisy construction in the area, which can be heard clearly in the rooms. Good location, though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"San Francisco weekend"
This has to be one of the most conveniently located hotels in san Francisco, just steps from both Muni and Bart, and just a few short blocks from Union Square.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great bargain - nice hotel"
What a nice surprise. The Hotel was way better than I expected. Great view. Convenient location to Market Street shopping and Union Square. "Great Service and neighborhood but poorBeds/Rooms"
Great front desk service, Neighborhood and the lobbies really nice and modern but the rooms are a different story .The beds are hard and uncomfortable and for being a Hilton hotel you expect comfort and quality but you don't get much of that in your room. Great spot if you like to shop and short walk to the cable car. On the negative, small beds and construction was being done next to the hotel so there was a lot of noise.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value for a 4 star hotel!"
Definitely a good value. The hotel was clean, the beds and the bathroom were clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay was OK... but far overpriced for the quality of the hotel. I got a pretty decent discount on hotels.com and also got a free room upgrade at check-in (to a corner room on a high floor) for having Hilton Hhonors Gold status. Even then, the hotel was a disappointment. It has the lobby of a 4-star hotel, but the rooms of a 3-star hotel at best. […] (And the elevators of a 2-star hotel -- which wasn't important, just odd.) The 59-bucks a day for parking was a bit steep as well, given the mediocre quality of the hotel and the less than optimal neighborhood. The rooms at this hotel truly felt inferior to those at a "Hilton Garden Inn". I'll stay elsewhere on my next trip. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not sure about Hilton Parc 55"
I've stayed numerous times at Parc 55, but this was the first since Hilton took over...the valet parking situation was cumbersome and expensive-- I don't mind paying, but the valet process took too long and was unprofessional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"room for improvement"
Stayed here for a weekend getaway. Staff was courteous and the overall shared spaces felt modern, but the room wasn't overly comfortable. "Parc 55 in February"
Great location, nice hotel. I had a cold shower 2 days in a row. When I called down to the front desk they said they would send up an engineer after waiting 15 minutes I couldn't wait any longer since I had to leave for work. "Nice Hotel but the People are Mediocre at Best"
2 of the 3 nights I was there my car received door dings from doors opening into it. The valet didn't seem to care, just wrote up the report and told me who to contact. Didn't even say sorry for the damage - both days! Also, if you go to the restaurant in the morning for a cup of coffee to go, be prepared to pay $4.50 + tax. Welcome to San Francisco! "Dark and cramped"
Room was tiny and dark. Furniture was too big for that size room. The two sofa chairs were so big and could not sit in them as the seat was extremely soft and when I did try to sit. It swallowed me up. They took up a third of the room and were non-usable. The bathroom was dated. Stayed at 3 hotels on this trip - this was the most expensive and yet the […] worst quality. "Location and view rock"
Parc 55 is everything you want in a hotel. It's a newer place, but has large rooms with good views. The service is nice and the location is perfect. It's next to BART, but only 2 blocks from Union Square. Like all business hotels, their parking is about twice what you'll find if you're willing to park a few blocks down on Eddy St.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
