This was a great place to stay a couple nights while my boyfriend and I were in town to do the Lost Sea tour. The front desk employees were very nice. We stayed one night, and it appears the whole hotel is under renovation. The lobby was bare sheetrock walls, the breakfast area is about 8x10' and messy, and every hall we saw was in a state of disrepair. Our room, although appearing clean, had cracked and missing floor tiles in the bathroom, a rattle in the heater, and a hard mattress. This hotel was […] no cheaper than others in the area, so we wish we had stayed somewhere where we wouldn't have had to breathe sheetrock dust the entire time. Be warned, and stay elsewhere. As the hotel is now, it is in need of refurbishing. The location and surroundings are good, but the hotel could be cleaner and needs to be remodeled or updated. The breakfast was okay, but could have been better. The pool and spa were not available and this was not posted on the web site, as of October, 2011.

They were working on pool, so it was closed. Room card worked half the time and the carpet was in very bad shape. TV channel guide not even close. Breakfast came up short of what was advertised.

The staff was very friendly. The rates seemed a little high compared to the surrounding hotels, though it is most likely a better hotel. Unfortunately, they we under going major renovation, so the pool was closed.

We were greatly disappointed with our room. The bed was fantastic, pillows many but too soft for our taste. The slide bolt was broken but a dead bolt was added. A dead bug on floor inside the outside entrance of the room and a dead spider was stuck on the interior wall of room. Booked online and checked in late around 9pm. We had a long drive and got into the pool and hot tub to relax ourselves. Got a late cup of coffee and no complaints from staff about dripping all over where the coffee area was.

The room was very nice. The beds each had four pillows. There was plenty of towels. The room had a door that led to the outside walkway and also another door that led to the interior hallway. The building was far enough from the road to not have traffic noise. Many good places to eat within a couple of miles. I recommend Bradley's BBQ and The Gondolier […] pizza. Both were really good. The location was close to I-75, the Sweetwater Flea Market, seven miles from The Lost Sea, and only a short distance from the downtown antique district. If you are into antiques, there's several stores on one block. You can look at antiques all day and never move the car. Also check out The Lost Sea. It's an amazing adventure. Very good place to visit if you need a relaxing get-a-way. Read more

Had 1st floor room, went for swim & used Hot Tub - all excellent. Staff very helpful & told us a good place to eat - Bradley's Bar - b - cue.Stayed one night as part of longer road trip in US.Near Lost Sea Adventure - nothing to rave over - felt sorry for the poor trout who are kept in artificial surroundings!!
