Hampton Inn Hanover - Hanover

Room was exceptionally clean I especially liked that they had a note on the bed that the sheets and duvet were changed before check in. The check in was quick and easy and the pool and spa were very clean and we loved that they were open until midnight. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms are clean and comfortable however the beds could be softer for me. The pool was clean and well kept as was the whole place. The location is good with many restaurants and stores close by.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay. We had a King, non-smoking room that was large for us. We liked the triple angle mirrored sink set-up. The room was very clean, and we had a note that the top comforter on the bed had just been washed. Nice touch.

We picked this hotel not knowing is was walking distance from the Texas Roadhouse where the Blue/Gray Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America was holding their annual fall auto show.We were surprised it was in walking distance from the show we were competing in and decided we would stay 3 days and 2 nights. I stayed here for business based on other positive reviews, but was thoroughly disgusted by my room. I first noticed the room smelled a tad moldy and everything seemed "damp." Assuming that this was due to the freezing A/C, I turned it up to 72 and went and took a shower. I walked around barefoot for the next hour or so taking calls and hanging my clothes, […] etc. I noticed the floor felt damp, but again, thought that it was probably just cold and felt damp because of that. I looked at my feet and they were BLACK. Took another shower and wore socks this time. I checked out a day early. A colleague asked if I had stayed at the Hampton Inn a few hours later, and after I said yes, she said that her room was damp - sheets and all, and that she checked out early as well. The hotel was being renovated at the time of our stay. There was much construction equipment in the parking lot which made parking a little difficult. Room was clean, staff very friendly, fridge smelled like fish and when we let them know at the front desk they said they would take care of it right away. (My husband and I only stayed one night and did not use the fridge, so we told them at check-out).

When we got to the hotel, we were given a completely different room than what we reserved. We paid a higher price for a suite with king bed and kitchenette and fold out couch. We were given a room with a queen bed and fold out couch. Desk receptionist was very accommodating and moved us to a room that was exactly what we had reserved ( I was told this […] error happens alot with third party reservations) Although, we were told we may have to move the second night to a room with a couch and queen bed, thankfully, we did not and were able to complete our stay in the room we reserved. In the future, I think I will deal with the hotel directly and not use a third party for reservations. The hotel was exactly as described and in a terrific location. Exceptionally clean hotel. Our only regret was that we could not get a king room versus the double. They had a basketball tournament going on and several teams stayed in the hotel. but despite so many young girls in the hotel, it was quiet. Rooms were exceptionally clean and pleasant.

Amazing all the different snaks and foods on the complimentary breakfast. I asked the girl behind thev desk for the nearest vending machine so I could buy a water for the trip home...she reached under the counter and gave me a cold bottle of water....I thought this was going beyond the call of duty. The remote in my parent's room didn't work, and in our room the phone had no plug to the wall. Which explained why we had no dial tone... But since we were only there overnight we didn't really care. We stayed here whilst visiting Gettysburg, it was clean, comfortable with helpful staff and unlike other hotels we have stayed in the rooms were relatively sound proofed and the air conditioning unit quiet. Bonus was having a fridge in the room.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff. With small children, having breakfast included was a major plus.
