The main attraction that led me to this hotel was the Water Park amenities that were on the grounds. I really enjoyed the entire facility. When I arrived, the staff was very nice and answered all my questions. They assisted me wherever necessary to make my stay enjoyable. I like the fact that there were plenty of lifeguards on the grounds to protect […] the guests and that they had a pool strictly for the registered guests. It was a great hotel. My kids had a blasts. The only thing is its far from the parks. But they provide great customer service, very helpful, and very courteous. I would def stay there again. The neighborhood was great evrry resturant u could think of right in walking distance.

Coco key was better than I expected! The rooms were very nice and the employees were very friendly. The kids (ages 9-14) all had a great time at the watermark and arcade. We got a GREAT rate (under $100) and it was well worth the money.

Would go again with my grandchildren. However, we chose to stay for the rate and location to work. The extra $20. surprise fee make the rate not so desirable. The room showed signs of aging and was extremely dark even with all lights on. No kids -- no go!

The pictures on hotels.com looked good...misleading. A lot of the rooms, including our room faced the road. The blinds did not block our the light from the street. We could not reach the front desk from the room sometimes. The phone just rang. They charge extra for 'amenities' on top of what you pay on hotels.com. We visit every year and every year we have a great time!! Lifeguards are very friendly, hotel is clean, fun, and near a lot of restaurants and shops. I only wish they would upgrade the restaurant inside CocoKey...the food isn't very good. Other than that....we are in love with this place!!!!

This was by far the coolest place I've stayed. The service was wonderful the rooms were nice and my 7 year old loved the heated pools and water park, I will definately be coming back

Our stay was an overnight stop between destinations. The hotel was very nice. The staff was very polite. only problem we had was room didn't look like the one in picture was smaller and we found a childs sock at the head of the bed. Other wise our stay was very enjoyable and would definitly stay again

I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times. Great location. I hotel itself is in ok condition it is not the "w" I do feel that the water park is better then the Nick hotel, which is way overpriced.

Everything was awesome! The Bargin Souvenir stores down the street next to Walgreens have amazing products & prices. The one thing I think can be improved on is more help with luggage if u have multiple bags & you're staying on the 2nd floor. A wonderful 4 day stay with a 10 and 14 yr old. The kids loved the waterpark. There was a smell in the bathroom to me, but my husband couldn't smell anything. I couldnt get anyone to bring me towels one night but other than that all was good a custodian on another floor gave me what she had off of her cart. We will stay again.

We knew about the $20 extra fee as we read it on Coco Key's site and on other reviews. The water park was worth the extra money. Staff was very friendly. It was nice to see that they had so many life guards. I didn't feel that the hotel was "dated" more than other hotels. We would totally stay here again.

The hotel was located in a great location. Easy to drive and walk to places, BUT the rooms were EXTREMELY dated, the "house-keeping" was Extremely slow if non-existant. One day noone ever came and the next day we went out from 9 am until 6 pm & that was when the housekeeper finally arrived to clean our room. The days we were there were NOT pacted at […] all! The hotel bar staff was exceptional- the head bartender Linn was amazing and courteous, he went the exra mile to help my husband and I out even when it was not "cocktails" related. The water park area is great and is the main draw for the hotel. It is a shame that management has not put every effort into upgrades for the rooms and the so called restaurant on grounds. This place has ALL the potential to really give Universal and Nickalodeon a run for their money if they would just fix the above listed problems. I have no complains on this hotel because its located in a great spot, super close to the parks. My only issue was the fee that they charge upon arrival per night, which i was not aware of, but other than that the hotel was pretty nice and has an awesome location.

on my visit i had two rooms. one room had a broken shower head. the other room the air conditioner didnt work and the toilet kept running! Maintenance tried but didnt fix the a/c. also the water park, the reason we picked the hotel, was closed including the pool and the arcarde!! so we should have gotten a discount or something for that!!

My grandkids loved the pool and water park. Only complaints are that the elevator was slow and was out of order for one day, the hallway carpets smelled of cigarette smoke and the stairwells need to be cleaned.

my kids loved this place! Location could not be better, the pools were fantastic and he did, the water park was excellent family fun even my husband and I went down the waterslide!the staff were very friendly really made my kids feel very welcome with high fives handshakes excetera. Affordable and the counter staff are nice. For families, especially the water park, this may work. There are nice hotels at the same price immediately surrounding this property. The facility is obviously older and has been painted but that's where the upgrades end. Three star hotels, like Hilton Garden Inn, have much nicer amenities. The bed was average […] at best, the under-window AC/heater is loud and not accurate on temperature. Carpeting was apparently upgraded too long ago, it could be more clean in the room I was in. When asking the concierge for a taxi, he called a friend who was flat-rate rather than an actual cab. Reported the incident to the front desk and never heard back. It's average at best (2-star deserved) and needs to make investments to really be worth it. Check around for a better hotel unless you just can't get away from the water park... Read more

Rooms had a moldy smell. Had a child with a broken ankle day of check out all elevators were broken had to take my son and luggage down the stairway. But will say lifeguards and staff at the hotel during the stay were awesome. Hotel needes to be updated.
