"More motel than hotel"
I enjoyed coco key though it was more motel vibe than hotel. It was clean and comfortable and well kept. I do not have any complaints. The beds where comfortable and the rooms a nice size. The water park was a great bonus for the kids. I would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We stayed during the certain off season of mid January, not many guests. It was fine, value choice with average accommodations. Food in breakfast buffet was reasonable but not fantastic. The best part is the location about 1 mile from Universal and half mile from the mall on International drive where dozens of restaurants are available. The main reason we booked this hotel was because it offered free shuttle to Universal Studios. Come to find out upon arrival they only allow a certain number of people to receive this shuttle and you need to sign up for it 24 hrs in advance because it fills up. Nowhere on the website or when booking when this mentioned. The park is just a 5 minute drive […] and I don't understand how a shuttle cannot run daily bringing people back and forth. "Bad experience for my family"
The room has very foul odor, which was unbearable to me and family. The room was very small and motel looking space. We stayed for 5 days and continuously asked for pullout bed which we were promised to deliver to our room but was never delivered until we checked out. No one said a word about bed and there were no apology as to why the pullout bed was […] not delivered to the room. The free wi-fi is a gimmick, it never worked. I was very displeased with the waterpark hours, it was not open until Thursday(which was the day of my checkout), the reason that I chose the hotel was due to the water-park:( There should have been something notifying me of this... when I arrived at the hotel, I was told that I had to pay an additional $20 "resort fee" besides the amount I paid when I booked online. The water park was closed and our room had no coffee pot or ice bucket. At to top it all off, we were put in a room way back behind the water park section in a room facing the parking lot. We accidently left something in the room and went back a few hours later to be told that no one found it and that we couldn't go in the room to check for ourselves since some one else had checked in.
