"A room with no view."
The staff was courteous and helpful in every interaction. The hotel was renovating their elevators and only had one working for 14 floors. That was painful. I wish I had known that before booking. The rooms looked right into other rooms. Someone had designed this hotel as an "H" and the interior rooms look across at other interior rooms. Ugh!Genuine Expedia guest review
It was a very nice hotel and was in a good location for downtown DallasGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was super friendly, especially Mr. Franklin. Loved the valet service and hotel was exceptionally clean. Impressed with the non-carpeted rooms! Only problem was that only one of the elevators was working!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to venue for music event"
Very clean room, relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere/decor, friendly and very helpful staff, bed most comfortable have experienced at a hotel!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I thought the foreign language writing above the main elevator was strange in English speaking America. I thought the airspace beside the door to our room was way too much (air and light came from the hall).People working there were very courteous and accommodating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth the money"
Hotel Indigo was not worth the money. The hotel is a renovated building in downtown Dallas. If renovation means covering all flaws with paint they did a good job. The hotel only had one working elevator during my stay, so you have to plan your trip to the lobby if you have to be some where on time. When you give your credit card or debit card to the […] front desk for incidentals make sure you are ok with a 50 dollar charge staying on the card at least for 10 days. Even if you have no services charged during your stay the 50 dollars is charged anyway. Not worth the the money to stay here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice clean rooms. Really enjoyed my stay. Close to restaurants and park.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice updated hotel"
Hotel had nice decor, though it is an historic building in Dallas, site of first Hilton Hotel. Friendly service. Shuttle took us where we wanted to other side of town. Quiet room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Easy in and out."
We were attending a show at The Majestic Theatre and Hotel Indigo were just right for what we needed. Easy to get to from the highway and easy to get back on the highway. In - outGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to Majestic Theater"
The room was small but comfortable, as if you were staying in a very nice guest bedroom at the home of a friend who had done a lot of shopping at Pottery Barn. Great shower, lovely bed, lots of outlets, excellent bathroom lighting, big closet with ample hangers, Aveda brand amenities, clean and bright...the kinds of things a friend would include in […] a guest room. The business center is big, but the TV was blaring while I was there, so working there wasn't possible. My only complaint was parking. Valet parking is $20 and when I asked for alternatives, the staff didn't give me accurate information, so I ended up moving my car (at 11pm) to another lot and self-parked for a total of $22/night thanks to their misinformation. When I explained how their incorrect information had caused this problem for me, I got blank stares from the front desk and even the person who had given me the wrong information. The staff needs to know that courteously listening and a simple response of "We're sorry that happened" goes a long way. The staff all seems young and not quite trained at a high level. Would definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was great, I had a wonderful time there, very clean, really nice looking Hotel and the rooms were very very nice, I would've rather that my car be parked on the same property as the hotel but other than that it was a great experience and I looking forward to staying with them throughout the different city that I'll be traveling to!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

First, parking was across from the hotel. The valet didn't offer any help. The room was very small. Shower and closet did not have doors just cheap curtainsGenuine Expedia guest review
"Closest hotel to Deep Ellum!"
Love this hotel. It's perfect if you want to be within walking distance of Deep Ellum (my favorite part of dallas). Wonderful friendly staff and rooms are well kept. I will stay here again soon!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Had a lovely time"
We had their largest room type, a sort of mini apartment with separate lounge, bed, bathroom and shower/toilet. A really nice layout to spread out and relax. Location was pretty good, not perfect but pretty good and service was great for the most part.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Majestic Theater"
We found the hotel to be very nice, the staff very friendly, and very close to our destination - the Majestic Theater. The 1933 Restaurant in the hotel was very good. We would stay there again and recommend it to anyone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Not a bad hotel. It was a bit dated. The rooms were kind of small but very clean. The glass shower door had been removed and replaced with a curtain mounted to the ceiling. The hotel has no parking. Had to pay to use the garage across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpfulGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Hotel Indigo in Downtown Dallas is a great place to stay. It is attractive, and comfortable. The service is first class. It is good value for the money. It is convenient to good restaurants, as well as the Arts District and the West End. And the park right across the street is a nice place to sit and relax with a book for a few hours.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not for extended family visits"
The pictures on the website make the lobby and the rooms appear much larger than they really are. The bathroom was much too small for a family, there was no refrigerator in the room, and there was no pool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice and clean and friendly service!"
My husband and I stayed overnight. We went to the Elm Street Tattoo Festival, they had a complimentary shuttle that took us down to the club and gave us a taxi number for on the way back since the shuttle ended at 10pm. It was clean and comfie and we got free breakfast with our rate which was great! Valet was $20 for the night, but there are places […] to park in the area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dallas Long Weekend"
The hotel was nice, but being an older builidng the room was small, but nicely painted and decorated. One issue was the shower curtain was too short and a lot of water got onto the bathroom floor.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Unpretentious, handy, comfortable"
Most of the music venues we frequent are within three miles of this hotel, and until 10 pm transportation to and from is free and friendly. Corner suites are bigger. Bartender has been the same fellow for a few years and he and most of the staff are cool and helpful. Can vary a bit from the menu if you ask...I love this place. Nice stay-had a toilet back up in the middle of the night but otherwise very nice!Genuine Expedia guest review
I love the Hotel Indigo!! They answered all our questions the staff pointed us to the coolest and closets spots to hang out at. They have a wonderful parking grudge across the street which can be accessed through the second floor. Out room was Cold, just how I like it. Perfect weekend stay for my husband and I :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked this hotel for its location despite a number of reviews that knocked it (smell in lobby, small rooms, etc.). I was pleasantly surprised. The only issue I had is that my room was not ready until 5pm the day of arrival. Other than that it was a decent value. No major odors in the lobby. My room which was a double queen was quite large as well. […] Great location...close to Downtown and Uptown. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great quaint room! AC blew cold. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Couldn't ask for much more!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to Meyerson"
our bedroom was too crowded, barely room to walk around to side of bed. the dresser holding the TV should not have been there. TV could go on the wall. Shower was very cramped. Walls were thin, could hear every cough of our neighbor. I'm sure they could hear us as well. Staff were very nice. Oh, the mattress was most uncomfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stated one night in Dallas and this location was good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice but get a suite. Regular rooms too small"
Hotel room was very clean bright and fresh. Don't expect much from daily cleanup crew. Breakfast in the lobby was fine. I would stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A few hours away from the kids!"
From the parking lot to our room, we marveled at the design and detail of this hotel. The hotel was nice and quiet with a very adult theme. Since the hotel's location was perfect, we were able to walk the town and have a romantic few hours away from the kids.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Right in the middle of Downtown"

"Great location - clean"
Next to a great location - near the Deep Ellum neighborhood on one side and the rest of downtown on the other. Small room but very comfy bed. I also love Aveda products and they had them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"the hotel was near everywhere I wanted to go."
Sorry, but you never told it was NOT a Bed and Breakfast reservation. As it was obvious, I never asked. When I had my first breakfast and was told to pay, I was a surprised. "Will never stay again"
They didn't have a double queen room that we had reserved. Instead we had to get a single queen with a sleeper sofa that was like sleeping on a piece of cardboard. The front desk lady was very put out that we were upset about not getting what we paid for. We won't ever stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It would have been quieter if we had just slept on the street. Constant traffic noise all night loud car exhaust. Room had old finishes and furniture and was dirty. Hotel staff was only bright point. Will never stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
you can't beat this hotel for the price! Very comfortable and well located.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall nice hotel"
Overall nice stay. I stayed in a Queen Room for 2 days. Nice change of hotel look - bright colors, refreshing feel. very courteous staff all around. Room was unfortunately near the top of the parking roof (6th floor) and they were doing powerwashing cleaning that night...like 2 in the morning. less than desirable. TV screen picture in room was partly […] damaged, remote had duct tape on the back to keep batteries in (cover lost), either mildew or dirt in the corner of the shower room. otherwise the place was very clean, nice hardwood floors. Nice little extra social area in my rom with a cough/tv. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Good for the price, but hotel lobby had an old, musty, public bathroom odor. The "beach" motif is odd for Dallas. Dust all over top of curtains. Ceiling had holes in it. Not the most comfy, but good for the price & convenient.Genuine Expedia guest review
"You can hear through the walls"
Hotel is very clean and well kept up. However, we were woken super early by laughter and hacking coughs from the next room over. As if we were in same room as them! Not the way to wake up on vacation....Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent and affordable"
The hotel was easy to find, the staff was exceptionally welcoming, the rooms were clean, relatively spacious, the beds were comfortable and the room expense very reasonable. This is an updated older hotel but it did not feel old at all. Highly recommend.Genuine Expedia guest review

"All good except"
Like I said, everything was good, except the lobby smelled like a men's restroom at a ball park. My son and I walked in and were like what? It looked clean everywhere, it just smelled. The next morning we were walking to the elevator and I asked him, "maybe we should just eat breakfast down stairs." At which time we got to the elevators which apparently […] deliver the smell of downstairs up the ten floors. He said, "Naw, I'd rather not eat at the urinal." I agreed. "Great hotel for the price"
My husband and I spent 1 night here over the weekend. We wanted to go out in Uptown and the free shuttle the hotel provided made it very convenient. They dropped us off anywhere within a 3 mile radius for free. Our room was cute and had all of the amenities we needed. I did notice the sewage smell other reviewers commented on, but only in the lobby. […] Our room did not smell at all and we were on the 13th floor. The lobby did smell pretty bad though, I don't know how people were eating in the restaurant. Valet parking was $20 and we had to go with that because the self park lot across the street was closed for a private event. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Downtown Dallas Convenience"
This is a great hotel. It is close to most of Dallas' downtown doings. Moreover, it is close to the light rail line as well as the McKinney Avenue Trolley. No need for a car in Dallas when staying at this hotel. The decor of the hotel, i.e. lobby, hallways, room, etc. is bright and cheerful.
