"Very friendly staff, cute decor"
Hotel was very cute and check-in staff was very friendly. Only downside was that our toilet ran ALL night! Other than that, we had a good experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent stay in downtown Dallas"
I travel alot and stay in many hotels for my job so.when my friend met me in Dallas I found Hotel Indigo online and chose it because the rooms looked nice it was a wonderful place to spend some time! The beds were very comfortable, the decor was charming and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I will definately stay here again!Genuine Expedia guest review
Good location, friendly staff. Bar tender Patrick was great.Genuine Expedia guest review
I chose this hotel because it was such a good deal for being so close to the Lizard Lounge, which is a club I go to from time to time. The location is great, the service was great, the parking was awesome. The only thing I did not like was I wasn't able to control the temperature in the room. There was a thermostat in the room so I know you CAN control […] it, I just couldn't figure it out in my drunken stupor. Other than that, it was awesome because I had reserved a normal room with a queen size bed and got bumped up to a king suite. I will be coming back!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Looks can be deceiving"
When I rolled up to the hotel I thought, oh yeah think I made a mistake. Parking sucks and it's expensive. So it didn't start out well. But walking into the hotel the staff was extremely polite and was in and out of registration in a flash. The hotel lobby surrounding decor was rather oddly funky but in a good way. A mishmash of everything in a blue […] scheme, LOL. But it worked. Walking into the room the decor was an extension of the lobby. Some might call it shabby chic I call it eclectic at best but very clean and not at all uninviting. The best part of the room was the bed. IT WAS AMAZING. They spared no expense on the quality of sheets, blankets and pillows. Generally I would pop into bed and when it was time I got out and went on my way. Not here, I actually laid in bed for a bit, made some coffee (comes with the room) and went back to bed to drink it. WIFI is spotty but so is almost every other hotel. Bathroom is dated but its clean and well stocked with shampoo, hair dryer and lots of towels. I had two TV's in my room, one in the bedroom and one in the sitting room. For the price you cannot go wrong with this hotel. But just be prepared to spend 20+ dollars a day for parking. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel served its purpose"
I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Indigo. Other than the long wait in the 1933 Bar & Restaurant, everything else was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love this little boutique hotel! Wonderful!"
Great service and I just loved the room, cost, and overall experience!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, just too small of rooms"
Everything was nice about the hotel- service, appearance, location, cleanliness, etc... The only reason I would think twice before staying again is the room size is quite small. We got a suite that had two rooms- bedroom and living space and they were both tiny. We were hoping with a suite to have more room for our 2 boys, but it may have actually been […] smaller than a normal size room (at least it was smaller than a typical room we would stay at in a Marriott or something similar). "Summer in Texas...need an A/C that works"
Charming and historic hotel in downtown Dallas. Rooms are decorated like beach houses. The temperature in the room stayed 75 degrees night and day; the fan blew constantly with the roar of a tornado, but no cool air resulted. By early morning, we were finally comfortable. I am sure they would have moved us if we had inquired about the problem, but that […] is such a hassle. Moreover, we reserved and registered as two adults; the coffee maker came with coffee for one. The ice and soda machines are located on every other floor; the third machine I tried finally would take my money. I did get to know the stairwells and experience some much-needed aerobic exercise. There are too many fine hotels in Dallas for me to ever consider returning to this one. The folks are nice; they just need to pay more attention to some of the staff who can really make a difference in a guest's stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cute but not silent"
I loved this place. Super cute and within walking distance to Deep Ellum. Only negative is that you can hear people in other rooms, but I'm sure they heard me too - so I call it even.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"So cozy and comfy!"
Love the decor and the staff were all very friendly and accomodating!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great staff saved this hotel"
Fantastic staff. Very very small room. Needed maintenance in room pretty bad (toilet , air conditioner, paint touch-ups. Had coffee pot but no sugar or creamer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel was so nice and would highly recommend. Came for my daughters birthday and loved it. The staff was extremely pleasant, from the vallet to the restaurant staff to the front desk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Exceptionally Clean and Comfy Botique Hotel"
This hotel was absolutely great. The room was super clean and the beds and tons of extra feather pillows were super comfy. The decor was very fresh. And the $115 price for the large 2 queen standard room was comparable to other large name franchise hotels but this place was far superior in cleanliness and comfort. I don't know why this place wasn't […] totally booked up since it was pretty much the only hotel left available for that Saturday. If I'm ever in the area again I'll definitely be staying here again. I used to live a couple blocks from this hotel and the location is excellent! It's right across from main street park which is always active. Several restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel itself need some maintenance, but its safe and clean with great service. I will be staying here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Memorial Day Getaway."
Great price, great place!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The photographs on the website make the hotel seem much more up to date and brighter than it actually is. I was suprised to see that it was lowly lighted as I was hoping for brightness and pop! Also, they could fix it up and clean it up a little more. However, it wasn't terrible and the service was good. I did have one bump in the road with the billing, […] however, the staff worked with me and fixed the issue. This was just a getaway stay-cation for me. Overall my stay wasn't the best that I've had ever, but it was good enough for what I needed it to be. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was good for the price. Parking is not included, which we were not aware of. Hotel was clean, and the staff friendly. However, there were 3 of us, so we got a room with 2 queen beds and it felt very cramped. I think all of us ran into the table/desk at least once. And if somebody was sitting at the said table it was hard to get around and the bed […] to go to the restroom or leave the room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overnight stay bust"
I was visiting my boyfriend in Dallas for Memorial Day weekend and we decided to get a hotel room for the night while we toured downtown's restaurants and bars. When we checked in, my boyfriend requested a good view and as high up as possible. Well, we were on the 13th floor out of 14, but the view was of a brick wall literally arms length away. I didn't […] let that bother me seeing as how we were going out for the night and not there to enjoy Dallas' scenery. As far as the room goes, I loved that it had wood floors and was super clean. However, the ac didn't work and the bathroom and shower were extremely small. The staff was friendly, but overall I was a little disappointed especially considering the good reviews and recommendations from friends. Even though it was for only one night, I would have much rather saved my money and taken a cab back into town. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"difficult access to hotel"
I had a hard time finding anywhere to park or access to Valet. There was very little indication that there was valet as I had arrived after dark (very expensive to park). My room was clean but my ice bucket was horrible. I liked the shower items provided, and the layout of the room was welcoming.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"This hotel is ehhh"
Location is dowtown where there is nothing to do on weekend. Fortunately hotel does offer free shuttle within 3 miles until 10pm which would take you to the fun spots. My complaint is that hotel was outdated and extremely noisy. I've never been to a hotel where adjacent rooms were so poorly sound isolated that it felt like other guest were in our r […] ooms!!! Decent place.......odd smell in lobby. Walls seemed paper thin and you could easily hear others in the halls / rooms. AC was difficult to control in the room. Good location as there are some great places to eat on Main. Rusty Taco for breakfast across the street a must. Overall we enjoyed our stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was very comfortable and relaxing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Acceptable; lacks good restaurant, good breakfast cafeteria.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for a quick overnight trip"
Every staff member that I encountered was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy, valet was easy. I would definitely stay here again. A boutique hotel like this is more refreshing than your stuffy 5 star hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room itself was clean and the bed was quite comfortable, however the lobby and the hall ways smelled like a sewer plant. You could tell they were conscious of it as they had a suspicious amount of candles lit and air fresheners, it was still quite overwhelming though. Hopefully it was just a temporary problem though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice smaller hotel with comfort but not the stuffiness of the big name hotels. My room had a separate sitting area with couch, coffee table, desk (for working) and TV (bedroom also had a TV). Since it was a working trip, this separate living space was very nice. Only negative was the restaurant was small, so breakfast buffet, which I have to admit […] I really enjoy, and a limited menu. "Close to Fair Park Music Hall"
Enjoyed staying there. Relatively close to the play we saw that evening at Music Hall. Even has a Rusty Taco in walking distance. My 10 year old daughter loved the bright colors throughout the hotel. I would go back!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I enjoyed our stay and all the staff was very friendly and helpful, the only complaint I have is the position of the TV's. the TV 's r hard to see if you have a room with 2 beds.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel Indigo Dallas - improving"
Last visit, the cleanliness of the room was lacking, including some interesting crud on the shower curtain. Much better this time, and they have very comfortable beds and linens. Be aware of the high garage parking charge, though!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This is not the "usual" hotel. It's very artsy and eclectic. We liked the decor and lay-out of the room. It is in a good location as well. We would stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fine but nothing special"

fun hotel. well kept for its age. I really liked hearing the chains of the elevators while waiting in the lobby.Genuine Expedia guest review
loudest hotel i've ever stayed at. you could hear any and everything going on in the hallway at all hours of the night... footsteps, drunk people, doors SLAMMING and shaking the walls.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
small rooms...no dressers in our room. EXCELLENT service. If you are into movies in your room, this hotel does not offer that. Free WiFi that works great. Good food. Including breakfast in your options at booking is worth it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fun and funky"
This is a nice, boutique hotel in downtown Dallas. It's been remodelled with bright, fun colors, explosively large wallpaper prints, a cute bar and restaurant, tastefully fun furniture and all of the normal upscale amenities. The mattress wasn't the best I'd ever slept on, but not bad. I enjoyed bantering with the bartenderix the evening that I was […] there. I am going to make this my regular place when I'm in Dallas. "Great bang for your buck, Very nice and convenient"
I was very impressed with the Hotel Indigo in downtown Dallas. It's comfortable, convenient and at least 4 star worthy. Also, if you're a megabus traveler it's about a 2 minute walk from the downtown transfer center and typically a lot cheaper than the Sheraton. The service was impeccable and every room is a suite with a front room and bedroom. It has […] a quaint, farm house or cottage style decor and every Wednesday they have open bar and hor' dourves. This hotel is pretty good. The location is great, close to a lot of restaurants, a park, and very close to the Sixth Floor Museum. The room was very cute and the bed was comfy, but the walls were very thin. Also the TV wasn't the greatest, small amount of channels. The front desk staff was very friendly, but the housekeeping people weren't the nicest […] and were only available until 2pm. "Not for the light sleeper"
I'm not a light sleeper and I slept ok once I fell asleep. That's the challenge. The doors don't have insulation around them so there's a circle of light coming in all around the door from the very bright hallway lighting. In addition, either people were frequently talking on cell phones in the hall right outside my door, or the walls are very thin, […] or both. Also, I was on the third floor and there was some rather loud live music to be heard until rather late (for a business traveller). I also got placed into a handicapped room though hotels.com said I'd be in a king. Staff were great, especially the valets. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Excellent value in downtown Dallas"
I enjoyed Hotel Indigo very much. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are fairly comfortable, although the walls are very thin and noise from adjoining rooms could be annoying. I was extremely pleased that the housekeeping staff actually left my hanging towels to be re-used. My biggest pet peave is when hotels put out cards indicating […] that if you would like to conserve resources and re-use your towels, then hang them up but then housekeeping swaps them out anyway. That alone would lead me back to Hotel Indigo. My only other criticism is that the restaurant is sadly understaffed but the food is fine as long as you are not in a rush. All in all, it's a great place to stay in Dallas for convenience, comfort, and price. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
