Liked the location. No freeway noise. Decent view from first floor. Very noisy upper floors. You can hear the neighbors above....especially kids. Very thin floor boards. Good service, friendly. "Worst experience ever at this Hotel"
We have been staying at this Hilton once or twice a year since 1994. This last stay was the end, however. The problems started when the desk person did not code our keys properly. He was a trainee working with minimal supervision and our keys were completely useless. This hotel is set up as a number of individual buildings over a very large site, so […] going back to the front desk was quite the chore. We had to drive and lost "our" parking place, when we returned with recoded keys it was a very long walk to our room, no luggage carts or bell service was available. But that was only the start. When we arrived at the room we found feather pillows that we could not use due to allergies. We informed the desk that we were going out and could they please deliver four non feather pillows. No problem they said. When we returned they had delivered four FEATHER pillows! We did not find this out right away, however, because OUR KEYS HAD STOPPED WORKING! Another trip to the front desk to fix the keys, a second call asking that they pick up the now 8 feather pillows and replace them with non-feather. Two hours later we had four non-feather pillows. For the price I expected the room to be in better condition. Toilet seat needed adjustment,drapes needed cleaning. They Make it sound like you have your own private Lanai. The hotel location was hard to find especially at night. The roads are not well lit so I was a bit scared (4-year old son and 5-month old daughter in tow). My room was haunted and I'm certain that sounds stupid but too many unexplained instances lead to this assumption. We were there for a wedding and it was hotter than hell everyday. "Definitely in need of upgrading."
I had not stayed in this hotel for several years and was very disappointed at how it has changed and not for the better. The building where my room was located is really rundown, with dirty carpeting in the hallway, cobwebs in the windows and a musty smell, even in my room. There was NO internet access, not even on my Verizon phone, unless I wanted […] to pay $9.95 per day for the hotel's ATT internet access. There was NO hot water for the shower, only lukewarm, and the tap water was nasty tasting. The list goes on from there. In general, it feels as though they are cutting corners everywhere in terms of how this hotel is run and maintained. It is just not up to the standards of the other Hilton Hotels I have stayed at.
