"Not the nicest Hilton"
I expect a little more from the main Hilton chain than this property offers. It is in need a facelift; it is showing its age. "My stay at the hotel"
It was very noisy at night people were talking on the phone in the hall way . They also keep on slamming their doors throughout the nigh. It was very cold and found out the next day that the heater was broken. I don't recommend it for families.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Make sure your luggage has wheels."

There was no heat in our room. We kept turning it up and up until we finally had to go to sleep. I barely slept because it was 60 degrees all night long. Loved it. Ou room was spacious and very pleasant (with a big bed and wonderful pillows), and we enjoyed the hotel restaurant (Nectar) one night for dinner. We had a really tasty meal there, overlooking a pleasant night-time view. We also appreciated a reasonably priced wine selection in our room, because the room was so comfortable to relax in together. […] Also this hotel supplies Half-and-half instead of horrendous "creamer" products for morning, in-room coffee (thank you!) We were alarmed and disappointed, though, that the hotel does not seem to care that California is in a drought. Nowhere to be seen was any appeal to "help out, we're in a drought," and even though we hung our towels for re-use, they were changed. Come on, folks. Front desk staff are not that friendly, not rude, but just kinda doing their job, robot like, but none the less, they get you checked in, and moved on. Overall, this is a pretty nice place, in a good semi-rural location, as a jumping off point for wine tasting etc. The room was spacious above average cleanliness. This unique hotel is set in a wooded area right near Hwy 101. It is a bit of an older hotel, so it feels rustic. It is surrounded by tress, with a mountain lodge type feel. "substandard for the price"
For the cost of one night's stay I was disappointed in our accommodations. The room cost $318 and for that price I would expect a spotless room. There was sunflower seed shells on top of one of the dressers. There was a long black hair on the wall of the shower. There was a wet glass ring on the cover of the hotel services guide. We arrived for Check-in around 4 PM, was greeted by pleasant staff. Later called and inquired about a refrigerator and one was promptly brought up to our room and set up for us. "Hilton needs to clean up the mold!!!"
Upon arrival the hotel looked great. I've booked trips with Expedia in the past and everything has gone smoothly. Not so smoothly this time but not Expedia's fault. When we checked in we asked for a ground floor room due to my husband's disability. We were given room 2308 in the Beaujolais building. All service to the rooms appeared to be self service […] so we found a cart and unloaded our car, found the room, unloaded our luggage and returned the cart to the hallway. When I opened the closet to hang clothes I looked up and saw a rather large water stain with mold growth around it next to the large vent in the entry area of the room! I called the desk to ask for another room due to the mold spot and was told that I could come up to the desk and get another key or they could send one down the hill to us. I chose to have them send the keys. NO apology for the state of the room, inconvenience, nor an offer to help us move everything back to our car and up the hill to the other room. Just, "here are the new keys, bye!" I was shocked that we were not at least offered help to move to the new room. I didn't check, but I'm pretty sure that someone else ended up in the "moldy room" as the hotel was fully booked. I expected more from a reputable company like the Hilton.
