Overall, the Doubletree was a nice hotel. There was a bit of confusion upon check in as I had booked two rooms; one under our name and one under my sons name. They were not able to find my son's reservation at first but after about 10 minutes of looking found it. The furnishings are bit outdated but the staff was congenial and efficient.

The hotel was absolutely great. The fact that you have to pay for parking and internet is a downside to me but other than that the hotel itself was excellent. The rest of the trip through hotels.com was a disaster and that is an understatement!!!!!

The bed was good and the sheets were clean. The carpet was dirty--it looked oily. There was a dead cricket on the floor. Dishes (not mine) were left outside the door overnight.

I had a quick overnight at the SFO airport, and chose the DoubleTree out of a plethora of airport hotels, primarily because of the bad reviews on some other nearby hotels shuttle services with long waits. The DoubleTree shuttle arrived within 10 minutes (supposedly runs every 15 minutes) and provided prompt service on the return to the airport as well […] at 4am the next morning. The hotel itself is an older building which has been updated in recent years. Most of the updating has been done very well, and provides an attractive environment and good value ofr the money. Oddly, there remain a few odds and ends in the room (a seemingly 1970's ceiling light fixture, popcorn ceiling texture, ancient towel hook for example) which would have been very easy to update and are relatively minor compared to the otherwise extensive and attractive upgrading. Although minor and not really affecting the quality of the stay, It's a bit baffling why these obvious and relatively minor things were seemingly overlooked. In summary, it's a nice stay at a reasonable price, with good shuttle service that is worthy of recommendation. Read more

We stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to the airport, and the shuttle was good. Being a family of 5 we had limited choices available for 1 room in this location. However the Internet was only free in the lobby, and we had to go down and ask the staff to supply the roll out bed. My kids were sent to the building next door to use their pool then […] were told it was shut once they got there. Having spent the past 3 weeks staying at Comfort / Best Western etc I wonder why anyone would stay at a place that charges double and offers much less. We came in for the weekend after flying into Oakland. It would have been nice to have a pool. It would have been nice to have had the Bay View without having to request it. But all in all it was cozy and clean. We had no other issues.

My stay at the Doubletree SFO airport was fine, until the Hotel Shuttle driver dropped me off at the wrong gate at the airport, making me walk a very long distance carrying all my bags to get to my terminal. I just barely made my flight, but the shuttle driver needs to pay better attention, especially at 5:30 in the morning

Very expensive for what you get! $20.00 dollars a day additional to park your car on the hotel lot! No free in room internet, they charge you! I travel a lot and find this hotel chain to be usually very good, but this hotel charges you for everything addtionally.

Loved it! Would have been nice to have a larger menu, but everything was just wonderful! Staff was GREAT, good beds, food was good, shuttle to Burlingame for shopping--and bartenders were the best! What else could one hope for?????

The hotel was great, however I was very irritated that there was no where to eat, granted I did not check in until midnight, but there is nothing in the room for food delivery and nothing in the area that was open to deliver. Called the front desk, because their restraunt was closed and asked.
