I normally stay at Drury when I visit the city but this time it was a bad experience. Here are the points which I also shared with the front desk. I arrived late night and there was no parking spot as Orange cones had been kept in a number of spots and were blocked. The fridge was making a lot of noise so I wanted to call the front desk to get it disconnected […] as I was not able to sleep but I found out that the phone was also not working. besides having a bad night with disturbed sleep I also found out in the morning that the remote for the TV was not working properly and the channels would not change. With snow on the ground, there was very little area to walk our dog. The areas that were available were not cleaned by previous dog owners. The pet policy was not covered at check-in and obviously not managed. The quality of the food served was just average. The staff was very friendly and motivated.

We were in Champaign for a gymnastics meet, and the front desk staff was outstanding. They were very friendly and helpful with directions. The breakfast crew were also very nice and especially helpful to the kids making waffles. We would definitely stay again!

You can't beat the rate for all the extras (free breakfast, snacks, drinks, indoor/outdoor pool, etc). Don't expect a five star hotel though- bedding and decor is a little dated and old fashioned but clean.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was so clean, the service great and LOVED those pillows. I will definitely be back. Also, loved the breakfast, pool, the evening snack which was actually a meal, and the free drink. Thanks for a great time with my grand-daughter.

This was a one night stay. The room was clean, the staff was knowledgeable, the hotel was clean. The only problem we had was while in the shower - the hot water would cut out and you would get doused with cold water.

sometimes little things go wrong, and this is one of those times. The overall hotel experience was good - the room was clean and comfortable; the breakfast good; the neighborhood safe enough and accessable. What went wrong: the pool/hot tub was out of order due to unplanned maintenance. Bummer, but I specifically booked this hotel hoping to use the […] hot tub (no, of course I didn't stipulate that when booking). And then there's the characteristic of "quiet." I'm a very light sleeper. My room (527) had a window climate control unit. The fan was very loud, and it went on whenever the heater kicked in. Also, there was a clicking and scraping sound that persisted from the area of the climate control unit all night - sort of like a piece of plastic was blowing in the wind and scraping/banging against the outside of the unit. And the toilet had a slow leak from the tank into the bowl which caused a high-pitched trickling water sound. Nothing was escaping the toilet, but at home that sound means either damage is probable or my water bill will be going up, so that pitch/sound resonates with me. In all, it was a tough night sleep because of the distracting sounds. I'll admit that I piled into the room, fluffed up the bed and THEN noticed the sounds, so I felt guilty about complaining when the room would've required servicing. I didn't ask for another room, and I'm pretty sure (given the apparent concern for custimers displayed by the workers I encountered) that I'd have gotten a new room. so maybe I shouldn't complain...but it was disappointing that such an otherwise "straight 5s" hotel ended up falling short. Nice Drury. Took our dog, no added fees. Whirpool has some jet issues but was clean (fiberglass). Pool indoor/outdoor (cool if climate is good). Snacks at 5:30 marginal. 3 free drinks is a good deal. Management great!!

My husband, stepson and I recently stayed at Drury Inn in Champaign just to get away for the evening. My husband and I enjoyed 3 free alcoholic drinks each, plus free food and juice for his son, at the 5:30-7 "Kickback". The hotel is very inviting, the staff was really helpful. Our room was well decorated. My husband really was impressed by the tv,frig,microwave cabinet. A great idea for a hotel room. We will stay in this hotel again, when in the area. I would recommend this if you want a nice quiet comfortable room.
