This is a hotel catering for large groups. First impressions are not positive - the building seems about 50 years old, facade of the high-rise is grimy, rooms are tiny, and fixtures old. Big sign in parking saying "Dont leave anything in the car" indicates that they have issues with car breakins. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Wifi though available […] isnt strong enough to connect from the rooms - just the lobby. The staff at the reception were cheerful and helpful. This is a hotel in the suburbs, so there are no other dining options nearby except their restaurant. The restaurant is passable and pricey. Breakfast though was pretty good. This is my fourth time in Bologna and my second at this hotel. I chose it because it is very accessable to the city while still being partly surrounded by a farming area. It is more than adequate, but certainly not five-start lodgings if that is what you are looking for. Like all larger hotels I have stayed at in Italy, when it is full it does have […] a hard time keeping up with breakfast. If you go at the wrong time, you may have to wait for hot food (eggs and ham), or even be left out. So, you must get down to breakfast earlier rather than later. The restaurant serves good food that (compared to good restarants in the area) is over priced. The advantage to the restaurant is that you do not have to travel from the hotel for a good enough meal. The staff generally speaks English, so if you are a non-Italian who speaks English as a primary or secondary language, you will find this helpful. Nice bar, well stocked. Pleasing lobby with enough seats. I would go back to this hotel again if I go to another International Book Fair at the Fiera. Read more

We were very dissappointed as I had booked an interconnecting room as we were travelling with 4 young children. On arrival having already recived confirmation that an interconnecting was available we were told that no such room existed. We were also advised that a triple room didn't exist as an alternative.We were given 2 rooms across the hall from […] each other. Both with sofa bed and double bedf - not ideal for our circumstances. We then proceeded to request towels for pool use at reception to be told that lifegaurd could issue them. However lifegaurd sent us back to reception who advised us to use room towels. This meant that we had no fresh towels for room use. Recommend for others to ensure that they pack a spare towel for pool. The pros to this hotel for young families is proximity to shopping centre, xbox and connect area in lobby and playground alongside restaurant. Had we been properly advised our expections would have been more realistic and I could have rated my stay higher. Read more

Although out of town, the hotel is situated reasonably conveniently for everything in the city. The room was clean and very comfortable and a good size. Service was friendly and efficient. The only disappointment was small portion of food served at dinner in dining room.

Very comfortable and accomodating. Great if you're staying in Bologna for a few days or an overnight stop, but if staying longer you may want to be closer to the centre! Taxis to and from town add up, but the desk staff were very helpful and made booking transport easy!

Primarily caters to business travellers, but my two young children were made very welcome by staff. Olympic sized pool was a life-saver in the recent heatware, after a days sightseeing with the kids. Shopping mall next door is highlight of the surrounding area. The 89 bus runs every half hour, and gives a good service in to the city center, but be warned […] it's a good 15-20 min walk from the hotel, which was the only real downside to our stay. There is a local train running from Villanova to central station, but that's another 5 minute walk past the bus stop. If you have luggage, save yourself the trouble and get a cab....Overall, a good hotel with the quality you would expect from Novotel, though the building is looking a little dated from the outside. Ero stato in questo Hotel nel 1995 e da allora non è cambiato niente. Si respira aria di vecchio. La colazione è ottima come da standard Novotel. Le camere anche se pulite sentono di vecchio. Il personale è stato molto gentile. Rapporto prezzo qualità buono.
