Room was adequate in all respects. Maid forgot full complement of towels one day as well as a bath mat. The Beach Tower is as far away from any activities as you can get. Had to walk to everything. Pool area good but the persistent crappy loud DJ music all afternoon ruined what would have been a restful experience. Blu Pool music better but still loud […] and not restful. Just shut up and knock it off. Food VERY expensive throughout. No need for that and a BIG turnoff. Will we tell our friends how beautiful the place was? No. We will tell them the food experience was hideously expensive. Aquarium experience fabulous. We never tired of seeing all the fish, turtles, rays everywhere. Least expensive part of the hotel, close to water taxi and great areas to walk off of the Atlantis property. Forces you to see the entire hotel and get away from the casino/water slide area.

I spent a week with my friend there. The staff was amazing and really nice and helpful. The only thing, who I really bothered me, were the prices. I think it's just not right to pay 19 Dollars a day for wi-fi. For a bottle of water in the room 7 Dollars. Even the 15% gratuity at the self-service seems not right for me.

The rooms are fairly outdated and show its age (at least in the beach tower). The other towers like the cove looked amazing when walking through. The hotel is created so that you really stay in the hotel for all your needs. There aren't really any towns or local areas to go outside of the hotel without taking a taxi 25 minutes out. There is a Marina […] Village, but its part of the Atlantis. Overall the stay was great and I think if your going to go to the Bahamas, that its best to stay at the Atlantis. I woudl just pay a little more and pick a better tower and try to get an all inclusive meal plan because the restauratns are about 45/pp! Read more

My fiancé and I find the Atlantis to be a fun place to visit.The hotel sits on a beautiful peninsula with beautiful grounds,beaches ,pools aquariums and many exciting water slides and rides. This Beach Tower needs to be upgraded. It has still wallpaper on the bathrooms. It did not offer internet, only 15 min free connection @ the Library on the next Tower. It had new flat TVs but analog signal, so picture quality was bad.

My family stayed at the Atlantis Beach Tower the first week of January 2013. The weather was beautiful for our entire stay. I have 9 year old twins. Our room was on the 9th floor with a beautiful ocean/ beach view. The room was relatively small for a family of 4 but clean and orderly. We spent most of our time at the Atlantis Resort and Aqua Adventure. […] In short, my kids loved Atlantis. Watching our kids have such a great time made my wife and I love Atlantis, too. We barely left the resort. There is so much to do including the pools, beaches, aquariums and of course all of the activities at Aqua Adventures (waterslides!). Definitely recommend Atlantis for families with kids that are old enough to swim and get around well. Unfortunately, it was time to leave just when we got familiar with the activities and less expensive places to eat. We felt very safe at Atlantis. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I did not like the crowds from the many cruise ships. Atlantis is not cheap so expect to pay more than you would like for just about everything. Read more

We didn't rent a car and didn't need to. The prices of food were extremely expensive! If you have kids, I'd recommend bringing some treats from home. The water in the water parks was clean. Some places that are close to the ocean or lakes have a smell to them. Bahamas did not. Be sure to check out the marinas and swim with dolphins!

I recommend staying in one of the other towers closer to the slides, especially if u have children younger than 8, else u spend a good 15 mts each way cause that's where all the fun is. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The room was humid one day then dry the next. On dry days we wanted to let the deck door open but the birds flew in. I loved the coffee. The shower did not have much pressure. Your wonderful staff made up for everything. They were all so happy and so pleasant and helpful. I enjoyed my stay.

I booked the Beach Tower but got upgraded to the Coral Towers (a perk of visiting in the off-season I guess), so this review really only pertains to the Coral Towers. The hotel is conveniently located and has fantastic views from sufficiently high floors. There is a Starbucks in the basement and a dozen shops including food+liquor in the Marina Village, […] a 2 minute walk away. No major issues with room cleanliness, air conditioning, or service on my trip. I guess the moral of the story is that if you have booked the Beach Tower in the off-season, it doesn't hurt to be extra nice at check-in and ask for an upgrade. Read more

We spent Thanksgiving week at the Atlantis Resort and had a wonderful time. It was myself, my husband and our two daughters, 7 & 8. We had an ocean view room and it was so nice to leave the slider open at night and sleep to the sounds of the ocean. I only have a couple of minor complaints... the first is that housekeeping never seemed to leave enough […] wash cloths for us in the bathroom. There were 4 of us, and only 1 day out of 6 did we have 4 wash cloths, most days it was only 1 or 2. The second complaint is about the cost of the food. We knew going in that food was expensive there, so we popped for the Value Dining Plan. I wish they would allow a little bit of flexibility with the plan and allow an upgrade for one or two days during your stay, but it's all or nothing with the dining plans. The dining plan provides for breakfast and dinner. For the most part that worked out fine, because we would have a late breakfast and then spend all day at the pools/slides/etc. and by the time we got back to the room, showered (sharing one wash cloth between 4 people) it was just time for dinner. The two buffets they offer are nice, but the menu never changes, so once you've eaten there once for either breakfast or dinner, you know what to expect. The retail cost of the buffets between breakfast & dinner was actually a little less than the daily cost of our dining plan. The A La Carte menu was confusing at first, and choices were limited. I haven't been in local hotel restaurants - so can't rate them. Been dining in local area - it would cost you around $50.00 per person. Hotel has a good port - and you can spend your morning time with your Starbacs coffee looking at ships for milliners :) They have good pizza place. The rooms are not plush - no sunken jacuzzi tubs or large double sink vanities - no cloud beds with down comforters and pillows BUT if you can get past the fact this isn't a Ritz-Carlton and enjoy the beauty of the Bahamas and the attention to detail around the expansive grounds, then you will LOVE this! I must say at first I wasn't crazy about our room but the view was so spectacular that we settled in fairly quickly. The food at the pool outlets is pretty good and inexpensive - you can get a burger, chips and soda for $11.00 - which is a particualrly GREAT deal for a hotel. Celebrity Chef Restaurants - STAY away from these!! We were anxious to try Nobu and Mesa and knowing they are somewhat pricey we figured it would be worth it and it's an expereince we didn't want to miss. Mesa was some of the worst food I have ever had - probably frozen and microwaved and way too pricey. Nobu ok but not worth the money. We have traveled the world and stayed in some exceptional hotels and resorts but found that the locals in Nassau went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we wanted or needed. We thought we would spend more time outside Atlantis but found that we were not bored and just enjoyed the many pools, sites and food. Talking to other guests from other places, they all seemed happy and comfortable. So don't necessarily believe the nay sayers in reviews. They probably would not be happy anywhere they were.
