It was really nice and comfortable. Great view, cozy, clean, great bed, etc... My only complaints regarded the expensive bottled water in the room (not unexpected), and the total lack of a bathtub.

Loews Vanderbilt Hotel Nashville was a great option if you are visiting Music City. It's about 3 miles from Broadway where all the fun is and they offer a complimentary shuttle via hotel Lexus. The hotel was recently renovated and the rooms were extremely clean with very comfortable bedding. Great attention from the staff. I would definitely stay here again. My only disappointment was no pool or deck area to enjoy the really nice weather.

The location is superb and the property is beautiful. Only issue is that the walls are thin and you may get woken up in the middle of the night by late night revelers returning from the bars....

All the extras cost extra... rooms come loaded with $7.00 bottles of water and $6.00 bags of m&m's, etc.... They tell you upon check in that there's some welcome items in your room, but unless you stumble on the price sheet... you'll be paying a pretty penny. The bed was the most uncomfortable, cheapest feeling mattress I've ever slept on and the pillows feel like they should've been replaced a long time ago. Good luck sleeping, I managed to get about 3 hrs in before giving up. I'm not overly picky, just expected to get what I thought I was paying for. Could've stayed in a nicer place for half the money.

Stayed here for a football game. Had an extra day to enjoy Nashvilles downtown attractions and restaurants. Hotel provided shuttles to downtown, everything else was within walking distance.

Very close walking distance to Vanderbilt University, beautiful lobby and bar; friendly helpful staff. Parking was expensive ($26/day) and no breakfast is included. Wifi was free but the signal was fairly weak upstairs. The rooms and hallways are clean and the hotel is in a safe area, an inexpensive cab ride down to Broadway bars at night.

My daughters attend college in Nashville so I visit several times a year. Although I have stayed at other hotels over the past couple of years, the Loews Vanderbilt is by far my favorite! It has become the only hotel I stay at now. It has it all service, location, great food, comfortable clean rooms, friendly staff. Nightlife and restaurants abound near by or the hotel lounge is always great place to unwind after a long day where Lois and Rodrigo are sure to take great care of you!

Clean and new. Nice touches were built-in USB charging outlets. Free wi-if. The concierge was very helpful. No towel bars in the bathroom. No free water. Breakfast was inedible so don't eat in the hotel. Take a short walk to the Rivermarket and have a great breakfast at Sweet Soul.

Although this use to be my favorite hotel when I come to Nashville which is at least 6 times a year; I believe the Marriott right there on West End has taken that spot now.

I've stayed at Loews many times in the past. Probably won't go back. Just not enough bang for the buck. If I pay $310 a night, I expect a little extra. Just a room with a nice lobby isn't enough.

VERY nice hotel!! Clean, courteous housekeeping staff, very helpful front desk and valet attendants. We stayed in the premium room which had its own breakfast on the second to top floor which was very nice. Good central location to all of our events in Nashville. People were great, very close to Vanderbilt, nice decor, but every moving part is a disaster: television, A/C, elevators, ice machines, Internet, phone, door locks, outlets, shower head, etc - disgraceful.

Second stay in this hotel in 5 months. Nice hotel in a good state of repair. Not in the city center but not far from it with an easy access. What ruined the overall experience has been the rudeness and negative attitude of a member of staff at the door upon our arrival. Therefore, I do not think I will be going back in a hurry!

The Loews Vanderbilt hotel is a nice place to stay in Nashville while looking at colleges or visiting for a college event. Very conveniently located to Vanderbilt University, it is also close to Belmont University and Music Row. Hotel was clean, staff was courteous and efficient. The only thing this hotel lacks is a pool and hot tub! Will most likely stay here again if my daughter attends one of the local universities.

The Loews in Nashville is by far the best hotel that I have stayed in Nashville. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the rooms are large and comfortable. They provided us with complimentary transportation to restaurants and other events in town. It is on a first come, first serve basis, but we didn't have any trouble. Our friends brought their dog with them and were given a doggy care package - bowl, treat, etc. The staff will even walk your dog for you.

It was all lovely except that the parking is $26 per night (self park!) or $30 for valet! I realize that we are close to downtown and parking is limited in the area, but I thought this was excessive!

We recently had the best experience while staying at the Loews Vanderbilt in Nashville. The staff were absolutely wonderful. Beginning with the front desk staff who seemed to know exactly what we wanted even though we weren't sure what that actually was, they were able to give us wonderful recommendations for dinner and entertainment, not to mention letting us know about the hotel car service available to guests. We decided to utilize the valet service offered by the hotel, which is only $4 more than the self-parking rate. I highly recommend taking advantage of the valet service as their staff is nothing but professional and went the extra mile to learn our names as well as remember our car. I had breakfast in our hotel two of the three morning we were there (my husband didn't join me for breakfast) and the staff inside Mason's were nothing but professional and attentive. The hotel is located in a busy and bustling portion of the city, but our room on the third floor was quiet and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Nashville area.

Overall it was a really beautiful hotel. While we knew the hotel was pet friendly, we didn't expect to have our sleep interrupted several times during the night by a barking dog-especially since we don't have one. That was really my only complaint. The hotel staff was wonderful. My husband broke his glasses and the concierge, Katherine was wonderful in trying to locate someone to help. Great location!

This hotel was nice but the decor was a little outdated and so it didn't look like a 4 or 4 1/2 star hotel. The room seemed clean and I was comfortable. For the price I think I could have stayed somewhere nicer.

We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Nashville. The only issue was that one elevator was broken during our entire three night stay and so the elevator service was quite slow. The quality of service was outstanding- especially at the bar and at the restaurant for breakfast.

This is a fabulous hotel conveniently located for any activity that brings one to Nashville. The only criticism is the lack of a swimming pool/spa for exercise and relaxing after a long day (and night) of taking in all that is Music City.

The hotel was largely overrated on Expedia. $200 per night was NOT worth a stay in this hotel. I have stayed in places for half the price way nicer. The room smelled musty and the carpet had stains everywhere. I would rate this hotel as maybe a 3 or less.

Biggest issue was an expensive personal item that was left in the room. I called first thing the morning following my check out and was told by the very young girl that answered the phone that nothing had been turned into lost and found. Maybe I could check back with them in a couple of days to see if it turned up. Zero interest in checking with the housekeeper assigned to the floor, just my tough luck for leaving the item behind.

After reading several reviews and comparing hotels in Nashville, I settled on this one based on what others had said. It is a nice hotel that is clean and located in a good part of town. There are a lot of food options around and you are very near the university. Downtown is walkable although we took cabs or Uber most of the time. I had read that others mentioned a shuttle, but I never saw one or was informed of one by the hotel staff. The Ruths Chris was delicious and we ordered great room service several times. The hotel staff was above and beyond nice and accommodating. The one real drawback of this hotel is the beds. They are some of the most uncomfortable that I have ever had at a hotel. Also, the rooms are a touch on the small side. We had a premier and it didn't have a view of anything and I couldn't imagine what the basic room would look like.

Hotel was great! Would have liked it a little closer to downtown but the accommodations couldn't have been better. Wonderful service and ambiance. Used so many areas of the hotel to meet with friends - the lounge, outside patio and meeting/lounge room.

Super comfortable beds and amazing staff! Corenthia at the front desk went above and beyond for us. Marcos at the Mason's restaurant was super friendly even though we didn't get a chance to eat there. He even gave us the Chef Brandon's famous Elvis dessert right before we left for the airport. The dessert was the cherry on top of my vacation. Looking forward to coming back!

Stayed here while in Nashville to run the Marathon. It's just a short, 5 dollar cab ride from downtown. Great location. Within walking distance of a lot of restaurants.

The hotel itself is very nice. I thought my room was just ok for the cost . It was small, no view and bed was just so-so for comfort. The room was clean and modern and the bathroom was very nice but also quite small. Just not sure it was worth what we spent.

This was a wonderful hotel experience. The hotel was located very near to downtown and they even had a complementary shuttle service available. We were able to walk to a few very nice restaurants during our stay. The room was very inviting and very comfortable. The bed was soooo comfy I didn't want to get up in the morning. Shower was nice and tall, water was hot whenever we needed it. There was an in-room computer safe that was very convenient. The mini-bar was beyond expensive and there was no refrigerator in the room except for the locked mini-bar fridge, which made it hard to keep beverages cold. The staff was excellent from the valets, to the front desk, to the housekeeping staff. I would highly recommend this hotel. Note - we purchased a special Expedia Hot Deal and got the room for a significant discount. Because of this, the view out of our room was onto the rooftop, but that does not take away from the comfort and excellent service we experience.

Hotel is in the West End neighborhood near Vanderbilt University. It is a five minute taxi ride to the downtown music district. We stayed there for the NCAA Women's Final Four and it was the the Notre Dame team hotel.

We spent 6 nights at Loews during the NCAA Women's Final Four tournament. The hotel was outstanding in every way. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Breakfast at Mason's was a wonderful way to start each day. The Masons bar is spacious and comfortable and Ashley took great care of us as we crowded the room watching the men's tournament on the giant screen. The hotel is in the Vanderbilt neighborhood with a lot to see and do on the Vanderbilt and Belmont campuses. It's a few blocks walk to the District where the music clubs are, but not a difficult or dangerous one. Taxis are readily available if needed, and the drivers are friendly and anxious to share information about the area. The rooms are comfortable, up to date (great showers in the bath!) and clean. We highly recommend this hotel.
