The Corus was a good value for the money - especially after walking into some of the other private hotels in the area....the room was clean and spacious by European standards. The towels were a little worn as was the carpet and the upholstered furniture - but the bed had crisp linens and the bath was very clean. With little time spent in the room, I would consider staying there again for the price.

"TV not working - staff not bothered"
The wonderful Bang & Olufsen TV in our room did not work. After following telephone instructions the TV was still not responding and the concierge kindly said he would send up a member of staff to take a look. The staff member did not appear and the TV remained dysfunctional. At checkout there was no offer of compensation. Very disappointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was not clean and was certainly not hoovered whilst we were there. The window cill was full of dust and the bathroom mirrors and the vertical surfaces around the vanity basin were dirty. The room is in urgent need of decoration.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overnight stay before event QE2 conference center"
The hotel is well located on Leicester sq, just a short walk from the tube. It was clean and presentable, and the staff are friendly and efficient. The business class room i stayed in was a little on the small side and the lighting could have been better. But overall I was happy with my stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Location, location, location"
Amazing location, friendly staff and well maintained room. We stayed over New Year's Eve and were surprised at the lack of noise - hardly anything considering we were on the first floor and right on Leicester Square. You pay mainly for location - the rooms are comfortable but a little smaller and more dated than you might expect for the price - but […] it's well worth it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Nice hotel for a luxury break."
Very convenient location in Leicester Square although difficult for taxi access because it's pedestrianised. The room was very comfortable, well appointed and nicely decorated but I found the lighting rather gloomy and the safety deposit box was located on a high unlit shelf in the wardrobe which wasn't accessible and I couldn't see the instructions […] well enough to be able to use it. I appreciate hotels are using low energy lighting now but it would be nice to have an option of brighter light for folk with less visual acuity. The WiFi signal in my room was too poor to use and the hotel failed to solve this. It wasn't too much of an issue for me but may have been for a business traveller. Although I was in a non-smoking room, the bathroom smelled of smoke and was unpleasant. It may have been coming through an air vent from the floor above but I found a cellophane wrapper on the dressing table that had not been cleaned away prior to my arrival and it looked suspiciously cigarette packet-shaped and I did wonder if a previous occupant had smoked in the bathroom. I didn't like the black plastic slatted "bath mat" provided in the bathroom; I would have preferred a clean towel-type mat that other feet hadn't been on. The lobby and restaurant staff couldn't have been more helpful and it was great to see soya milk provided at breakfast without having to ask for it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Good location but not REALLY a 5 star"
Great location! Soundproof was great. Not so great shower, not so comfortable bed, too hot took days to get AC on. But can't beat price/location!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect location, Great staff."
Undoubtedly the best location for a city break. The area is perfect for walking around and getting a real feel for the city. With Covent gardens and Regent street just around the corner, not to mention soho on ones doorstep, it couldnt have been better for us. Lovely cafes for breakfast abound and restaurants for every taste and budget. We had booked […] one double and one twin room. Unfortunately they had no twins left so they upgraded one of our rooms to a large double king and offered to put in another bed. This worked perfectly. The double room was a bit small, but the other was great. The thing we really liked was the uncomplicated and unfussy way in which they tried to make our stay better. No problem with late check out and free wifi of a good quality all over the hotel. Also easy access to the business centre for printing. Both our rooms were at the back and not at all noisy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel....but"
Fantastic friendly staff, great hotel and location. The upside of being in Leicester Sq. is your so close to everything, you can sit outside in the bar area and people watch. Also very close to all the theatres. On the downside the neighbouring bars are very noisy and appear to be open till 4am. Our room was at the front of the hotel and whilst it had […] double double glazing, it was still hard to sleep. This is not the hotels fault and I would stay again, but would ask for a room at the rear of the property. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointing Experience"
Despite having written confirmation that my friend and I would have a twin room - in itself something that seemed to pose the hotel a great problem - on arrival we had been allocated a double. When I refused this we were told all that was available was a twin in the smoking section. We accepted this through necessity but the whole floor smelt of smoke […] and was most unpleasant. The TV in our room was in a cabinet on the left hand wall to the beds - meaning you had to look sideways the whole time to see the screen, a very basic lack of consideration. Our bin didn't get emptied and the splashback to the bathroom basin was crusted with limescale. The room felt generally shabby and was not what I would expect from a hotel claiming a 5 star rating and is not in line with my previous experiences of Radisson hotels. The only good thing about the hotel was the location, but frankly I feel the nearby Premier Inn would have offered a fresher environment and better value for money. "Expensive but not 100%"
I stayed overnight and had ordered a newspaper for the next morning. No paper turned up and I was charged £2.49 for a 90p paper. I did not realise I had not received this paper until I left the hotel. Not 100% customer service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stylish hotel in ideal location."
Ideal location for a stay in London, right in the heart of things for west end theatres. Within walking distance of Covent Garden, Soho, shopping and tourist attractions. Lots of restaurants, pubs and bars etc all around. Only drawback hotel restaurant very expensive for breakfast even by London standards, but lots of less expensive options nearby. […] This is a pity, as hotel lunch and dinner prices not too bad. would have liked to have had hotel restaurant breakfast but could not justify £23 per person for a breakfast, as menu although ok, was nothing out of the ordinary. Would think only guests with "money no option" situation or claiming back on some sort of business trip expenses would disagree. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Not to be repeated."
I have never had such a small room in a 5* hotel. I sleep on the right hand side of the bed and had to sidle up the side of the bed between the bed and the table and chairs, no bedside table on that side, no room. A full length mirror you could not see yourself in as the table and chairs were in the way. I could only open one side of the wardrobe doors […] as the other hit the suitcase rack. There was supposed to be a hair dryer but I assume it was in the drawer with the broken off, missing handle, so 5*!!!!! Just as well it was only one night and I arrived quite late. It was very obvious from staff responses that I was not the first person to comment on the size of the room but they still seemed surprised I had actually raised it and even more so when I said I would never book into a Radisson hotel again. I am sure they are not all like that but first impressions do count. Breakfast was excellent, very attentive staff in a very attractive dining room although they did try to tell me I had not paid for breakfast in advance. That was quickly sorted out. "Radisson Edwardian Hampshire"
May well be a Five Star Hotel however be aware that the "Standard Room" you ask for could end up being not much bigger than a broom cupboard! My wife and I spent 4 nights having to negotiate and agree when and where we would move in the room as the end of the bed was literally 1ft away from the wall. Another criticism was that there was very little […] drawer space in the room, especially as we were there for an extended weekend break. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Brilliant location for London's West End"
A stunning hotel - service was outstanding from the beginning. Nothing was too much for the staff - very helpful and friendly. We had a suite overlooking leicester square itself - made us really appreciate how central we were, but with no noise or disturbance from the square at any point. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but the 'nespresso' coffee machine […] in the room certainly set a high standard for the food and drink. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Radisson Hampshire Leicester Sq"
The hotel itself is perfect, but since they are renovating the bloody Leicester square, getting in and out of the hotel was a nightmare. To add to this misery, the staff had the very bright idea to close one entrance of the hotel, the side door, which meant that i had to go around to reach the front of the hotel, an 8 minute walk. So for me, until […] the Olympics are done with, i will avoid this area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best hotel in London!"
We are an Australian couple in our early 50's and first time travelers. The hotel was amazing. Convenient location to all amenities and sights. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Free computer access available at all times which made it easy to keep in touch with children back at home. The bed was the most comfortable that we had slept in […] during our 8 week European holiday. There was some surrounding building work at the time (end July 2011) but we did not hear any noise at any time. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and highly recommend it to everyone. "Stay in the heart of London"
Great location - so many theatres in walking distance. Only suggestion is to have a real hair dryer in the room. They have these "in the drawer" ones that are useless and since it is a 5 star hotel, that would be my only suggestion. The staff are awesome, hotel is comfortable and definitely a place we would return to on our next visit.Genuine Expedia guest review
Lovely hotel perfect for the night. Second visit as we were seeing a show and doing a spot of shopping. Room spacious and comfortable. Bar prices expensive though and got woken up by the refuge men about 5 but what's to be expected in Leicester square. All in all a good stay and would def go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fantastic location for business or holiday"
Despite the long name, and the confusion with a hotel of a similar name (same chain) around the corner, the Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel is a great place to stay. The surrounding area is vibrant, and it's easy to walk to many tourist sights, and the Tube is a short stroll away. Suggest staying on a higher floor simply because of the noise of Leicester […] Square. One lift played up, but apart from that I can highly recommend the hotel. Please note that as at April 2011, Leicester Square has been dug up and is going through a renovation in prep for the 2012 Olympics. Tad noisy. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel - Not 5 star!"
This hotel is in a handy though rather seedy spot. My room was small, and dark and it smelt damp. The breakfast was woeful and I got my early morning wake up call to get an early morning flight 30 minutes late. I am not sure why this hotel is rated 5 star. 2 or 3 would be more accurate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Edwardian Hampshire hotel - centrally situated"
This was my first experience staying in a Radisson hotel, and I found it very comfortable. It was very convenient as close to Leicester Square tube station and the London Coliseum and other theatres. All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was great and the only negative thing was the noise in the morning coming from the building site close by (preparations […] for 2012 in Leicester Square). Breakfast was good although I felt it was rather expensive. I would definitely recommend the hotel to others. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Would go back again, again & again."
Second time for a visit to this hotel. The only problem encountered on this trip was that the first room offered overlooked a close adjacent building at the rear of the hotel. I would strongly recommend upgrading to a room at the front if available. The room at the front overlooked the fair in Leicester Square which we did not hear due to the double […] glazing/sound proofing. "Radisson Edwardian Hampshire Hotel - Leicester Squ"
Fantastic hotel for location and convenience if having a night out in central London. The hotel itself is outstounding in presentation. The bar was a great start to my night and served some excellent champagne. Although being a Londoner, the hotel gave me a feel of being "on holiday" which was great ! "Superb location, shame about the hotel!"
When I booked this hotel for my wife and I and our friends, I wanted a really good stress free weekend at the end of a very trying period for all of us. I looked at various other 'top' hotels but decided to stay here due to the location. At very near the top of the price range I thought 'it is 5 star what can go wrong'. I rang the hotel a week before […] our stay to request an early check in on at least one of the rooms so we could freshen up etc, I was told that it would be no problem both rooms will be ready at 12.00. We arrive at 1.00 and neither room is ready and wont be until 3 - 3.30, I thought it is not worth getting worked up over it so we checked in left our luggage with reception which we were assured would be placed in our rooms as soon as they were ready as we had tickets for Vinopolis at 2.30 and wanted to get lunch before going in. We arrived back at the hotel running a little late at 6.30 went to get our keys and saw our luggage still behind the counter! however we were rushing a little and wanted to get changed for the theatre at 7.30! so we went up to our rooms and I had only been in my room 2-3 mins when I got a phone call from my friends telling me they were back in reception getting another room! they had tried the door on their room and neither key worked, a maid saw them and told them reception knew that room was out of service and opened the door and showed them running water coming through the light fitting in the bathroom and the floor covered in water! The staff sorted them another room in about 10 mins so we got ready and left for the theatre. After the show and a drink in leicester square we went back to the hotel bar for a nightcap and found it fairly quiet but there were signs they had been busy earlier we ordered our drinks and sat down, the ladies went to the bathroom and when they came back told how the bathroom was 'disgusting' with tissue all over the floor and the sanitary bins were overflowing! my wife reported this to reception wher Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
