We loved our stay! The place was in a great location...near The British Museum and a short walk feom SoHo. Also only 1 short block from the Underground station. We were out late a few nights and always felt safe. The only downfall I have to say is regarding hotel Internet. We had work to do while on our trip and wireless Internet was not reliable in […] our room and when it was it would log you off periodically and make you log back on. "Disappointing, stressful, not relaxing"
Some staff were absolutely wonderful! Unfortunately, some had different ideas about services and amenities, so services were inconsistent. Eg, "complimentary" water was provided daily in the room, as indicated by a "with our compliments" sign, but one staffer indicated it was only complimentary the first day, and charged me 5GBP each subsequent day. […] I stopped drinking it. At week's end, another staffer assured me the water would have been complimentary every day. This occured with every amenity in my package - the free daily movie (for which I was charged, but was later able to reverse), the $15 daily bar voucher, which some staff would allow for any item on the bar menu, and some staff would allow only for beverages, etc. I felt like I had to fight to use my amenities. The rooms were also disappointing, poorly designed. The lighting was inadequate. The first room I saw was on a dark airshaft. The second room had a hole punched in the wall. The third room was on par with buses so you could shut the roman blinds for privacy and sacrifice daylight, or leave them open and sacrifice privacy. (Why not tint the windows or provide sheers?) My room had plenty of natural light, but the air conditioning was defective, and in spite of 3-4 requests, was never repaired, so it was 75-80F in the room. There were NO drawers in the room, so I lived out of my suitcase for 7 days. The bed was rocky; the pillows/duvet were poly, not down; the internet was spotty. Is this a 4 star hotel? "Only lobby has AC"
We were at the Kenilworth for 2 days to catch our flight home to US and wished it had been less. The building is gorgeous, but the air infrastructure is defective..the first day they moved us bc we discovered a strange smell (like a smoker doused with air freshener) in the Expedia booked room, and then the second room we were moved to, we found after […] we got in that the AC barely functioned. Because this was the week of the Olympics (no hotels within reason, our last day of trip, prepaid, had already changed rooms once, etc) we didn't change hotels despite the 90+ degrees F weather. I saw other folks (there working on the Olympics # complain and the staff did what they could #offering to send engineers in, offering drink vouchers, etc) but would have been untenable for a longer stay. The hotel staff was helpful and polite and the location was pretty central. Was able to walk to mosr attraction with little difficultly. EnjoyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel for a visit to the British Museum"
A good hotel if you are visiting the british museum. Probably the closest hotel to the entrance, just a block or so away. Very nice hotel in the common areas, rooms remind me of a Paris hotel room, being small.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Comfortable bed in London."
The rooms are small and initially I was given a smoking room which stank. This was quickly remedied. The room was comfortable for a short stay. The breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful. The hotel is not luxurious and you are paying for the location in the west end.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better choices in this price range"
Clean and stylish rooms and facilities, good location, and very nice personal service from staff. On the other hand, mediocre maintenance of the rooms included a bathroom with two sinks, neither of which had drains that closed properly and one of which had a broken on/off/hold/cold lever. The "gym" was very small and had a poor selection of equipment: […] one treadmill, one stairmaster, and one elliptical trainer that didn't work very well. The hotel is not well set up for families with children, i.e. no connected rooms. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location, Kind Staff"
Location location location. Just a skip away from metro station, easy walk to theater district or Trafalgar Square, and around the corner from the British Museum. It took me a while to find the hair dryer (in a drawer), but the small room had everything I needed. One minor quibble--I would have liked a sheer curtain in addition to the heavy window blind, […] so that I could let in some natural light yet still have privacy (my window faced a wall of other hotel windows; even though I didn't see anyone, I was in a similar situation once in a hotel in Spain, and I saw MUCH more than I wanted to). The complimentary daily bottle of water was a very nice touch. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Quality Stay for a Business trip"
I stayed at this hotel from May 26th to June 15th for business. The hotel was in a perfect location for night life on the weekdays and weekends (26 year old business man). Less than a 5 minute walk to several tube stations. Close walk to soho, covent garden, oxford circus. Room was clean and bathroom was nice and clean. My only complaint about the hotel […] was the bed was not too comfortable, but I'm fairly tall, so the bed was just no large enough.. However, i would consider this hotel if i return to London again, for business. Very nice and helpful staff. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I searched for a hotel in London for an affordable price, this one came up. I was very pleased. Stayed in a single room, that had a decent view, great technology hookups, and the staff was very helpful whenever I had questions. Friends stayed at another hotel and I found myself comparing the two. My hotel staff was much warmer and enjoyable. I would […] definitely recommend this hotel. Good service. Nice people. Hotel is not great but good enough.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not a great stay"
My wake up call never occurred -- I almost missed my train because of it. The bartender at the hotel is pathetic -- she had no idea how to make an old-fashioned and serve flat prosecco to my wife. Not a great say.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay"
Steps to the British museum. Big breakfast. Highly recommended. Room small but that's typical for central londonGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great room overlooking Brit Museum, small shower"
I've stayed here on my last five visits to London and the hotel continues to be a good value. My shower was extra small this time although I had a double room. It was quite difficult to lather while the water was running, and I am an average sized person. They need to add door cushions in the hallway firedoors since they knock when ever anyone passes […] through them. It makes sleeping in a problem once foot traffic starts up in the morning and is pasing through them. I was a bit disappointed in the telephone receiption person since they would contintue to pass my calls onto the concierge who had already gone home for the day. Also, I didn't appreciate the markup they added when quoting cab fares to paddington. Overall, I will stay at the hotel again and I will recommend it to my family and friends. The hotel was well kept and the service was good. The rooms are a bit tiny but that is expected in a London hotel. The hotel seemed to more geared to a business professional clientele.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel for sightseeing"
A great experience. Very centrally located and very accommodating staff. The room was small but adequate. Standard for European hotels. Sheets and towels changed daily.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth - a great choice"
Service by the front desk, concierge and in restaurant was exceptional and fast. Maid service good but sometimes missed small details such as refilling coffee packs and toilet paper (both quickly remedied by front desk). Rooms are small but comfortable and in good condition and clean. Great breakfast and very convenient location. I would stay here […] again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall a good stay"
Great location - really close to theaters, etc., yet also nice, clean and quiet. The elevator is ridiculously slow, and since we were on the 7th floor (where the free wifi didn't work), that was kind of annoying. Overall it was a good stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
Being there for the third time now. Always a great service & love the location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The rooms are very very small! It was nice and a very good location, but tiny tiny rooms! Also, the elevator is only big enough for two people and the other one was broken. It was quicker to walk 5 floors than wait on the elevator. Great location!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location, attentive staff"
The location is excellent and the staff was exceptionally attentive. The one drawback was the noise outside, even though our room did not front Great Russell Street; since this was my time at the hotel, I don't know how much of this problem could be attributed to special construction associated with the upcoming Olympics.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Stayed for a week and it was great."
While I understand this isn't a 5 Star hotel because they don't offer all the amenities, it is a five star hotel based on service and quality. My husband and I stayed here for an entire week and it was absolutely perfect. For Americans, they even have a built in converter plug, so you don't need to buy an adapter for your chargers. The staff was very […] attentive and friendly. They did a great job making sure that we were happy and had all that we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Bloomsbury area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, Free WiFi (check rate), Dorm Room"
Stay here for a great location to Leister Square, Totterham Court Rd Tube Stop, and Central London. Modern hotel lobby, free internet, and helpful staff. Dont stay if you are seeking a large room size, plush bedding, or a view. The room was small, the bedding was standard (but clean), and my view was of an alleyway (I kept my one small window curtain […] closed). I was in a room by myself - and cant imagine being in a standard room with two people. If the are spending your time explorig London and get a cheap rate, this place is a keeper! However, if the rate is high and comparable to other hotels, I'd shop around. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Radisson Edwardian Kenilworth"
My husband and I stayed here for one night in January 2012. The hotel is within a stone's throw from the British Museum and the Tottenham Court Road underground stop. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the area and very nearly a Starbucks on every third corner. The hotel iteself is clean and updated. Our room was small, but comfortable and […] well decorated, and space was sued efficiently. The bed was very comfortable for a hotel bed and I had a very good night's sleep. The reception staff was very pleasant and helpful and made us feel very welcome when we checked in early. The concierge was also equally pleasant when we checked out and left our bags with him so we could finished touring the city before heading home. Overall, this was an excellent stay and we had no complaints with anything. I would certainly stay here again and recommend this hotel to others. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, fantastic customer service!"
Just brilliant! Due to a last minute change of plans we needed a third bed for our 11 year old son and although they couldn't accommodate us in the Kenilworth, they moved us to the Bloomsbury just around the corner. We were escorted there by the receptionist and checked in. Lovely location, rooms just lovely and such great customer service was worth […] every penny!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I really enjoy staying there. It is near 2 underground station. It's walking distance to SOHO. Near everything. Personal are nice and helpful. The room was modern and great. I will go back anytime.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable room in an unbeatable location"
Fast becoming my favourite part of London, and the Kenilworth is a comfortable base. Room was small but this IS central London so that's to be expected. Friendly and helpful staff on reception. No complaints whatsoever.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Steps from the dominion theatre!"
Fantastic location for the Dominion Theatre - we were going to see. White Christmas. Great service - wonderful cocktails shaken by Keith. Great stay - thank youGenuine Hotels.com guest review
An expensive basic hotel. When we arrived we were told we would get an 'upgrade'. Our first upgrade was a pokey room with views of the air conditioning. We were moved from this room to one of the same size but with a better view. Our expectation initially was low but when you are told you are having an upgrade - your expectations are equally upgraded. […] Apparently the upgrade was a newly decorated room! I would suggest you are careful with terminology - you set an expectation which you fail to deliver on! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good for the West End"
Never stayed at a Radisson hotel before but this is a perfect location for the est End or the British Museum. Staff were very helpful and friendly and enjoyed staying there for 5 nights. Bar was a bit expensive with a service charge on top of the prices, but there again, it is London! Didn't eat in the hotel as we were on a room only booking and breakfast […] seemed very expensive! Lots about this hotel is great but on this occasion my room was too hot to sleep and they could not source a fan (except one that foubles as a heater so just did not do the job) and the wifi would not work. Spotlessly clean. Good breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel and friendly checkin staff. But asked for a double and got 2 singles. Also the bedroom and bathroom were a bit tired looking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was adequate and I felt comfortable and at ease. Situated near Cambridge Theatre and not too far from Liverpool Street Station and accessible by bus and underground.Genuine Expedia guest review
Dyllan at Reception was very helpful. The lobby, bar and restaurant are very nice. We only had breakfast, which was good, but I wouldn't have been very impressed if we hadn't received a half price voucher. The room was clean and comfortable, but there was no bathtub, which was a bit of a letdown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Right next door to the British Museum-fantastic! All was good except there was no mirror close to the hair blower and no outlet near to the existing mirror.Easy enough to have one on the wall beside the hair blower. We mentioned this twice but nothing was done about it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
