Room was clean. Older hotel and train tracks run behind the hotel, waking you up in the middle of the night. Staff friendly and helpful.

The room may had a molding smell. The room treatments and furniture needs updating. There was not a refrigerator in the room. The waiting area can stand an update as well. The staff was very nice. I'm willing to give it another chance in the future.

The hotel is about 10 years overdue for a makeover. They do try to keep it as clean as possible, but it's like putting lipstick on a pig. It's cheap in every way. Considering the inexpensive price of our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel and the room were very clean and the continental breakfast was very adequate with even eggs, sausage and waffles. Would have liked to have a fridge in the room but I guess for the price, can't complain.

We spent two nights at the Comfort Inn in WIlliamsburg, VA. We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool and offered a free breakfast. The hotel staff was courteous and checking in and out was a breeze, mostly because we had pre-paid. They still required a credit card for phone calls and such. Our overall experience was good, but there were a few […] things that ensured we will not stay here again. The free continental breakfast was lacking. Not only was there not much on it, but they kept running out of stuff. They had a waffle maker, but everything else was packaged, mini-sized, and microwaved items. Also, there are train tracks about thirty feet behind the hotel. The trains are loud, fast, and run often. We probably won't stay here again, just because of the breakfast. That's important to us because we have two young children. If you're looking for a cheap but comfortable place, this is it. We just jest needed a better breakfast. Read more

I enjoyed my stay over the weekend. The hotel is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and local events ongoing. The sound of the train out back was comforting, as I grew up with one close. The hotel at least needs new paint in the rooms. There was no food for the breakfast - no yogurt, boiled eggs, made eggs, anything that I am accustomed to with Comfort Inns. I had coffee and I had to wait for that to be made.

The Comfort Inn was ok. The halls smelled smokey and musty, but the room was clean and servicable. My family arrived late and the card key did NOT work. Had to go all the way back downstairs and the hotel clerk had to come up and there was a "tricky way" to open the door. We never did get it to work the next morning either. Stayed here this past weekend with my son. Great bang for your buck. Clean rooms, decent breakfast, good size indoor swimming pool, within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Its only a short drive to the outlets from the hotel also. Will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Williamsburg.

This Comfort Inn is very conveniently located but it had a couple problems. One, the table lamp in our room was not working. Second, they do have free wireless Internet but you have to have a password to access it and the people at the front desk didn't tell us that when we checked in. I had to go downstairs and ask for the password. It would be so […] much nicer to set it up so you don't need a password. But the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the free breakfast offered an abundance of choice, from fruit and cereal to waffles and sausages and eggs, so we can't really complain too much, especially because the room was so reasonably priced. It is close by to Busch Gardens and Jamestown. Overall the hotel is completely average. Perfect for a one night stay but would not want to stay longer. The staff is very nice though and the room was clean enough but is extremely dated (it even had a tube tv!).
