The Grand Hyatt Atlanta Buckhead is located adjacent to the Terminus Complex in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, Ga. This property stands one-half mile from the Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza malls.

The Grand Hyatt Atlanta Buckhead reflects Japanese-inspired feng shui design elements and a serenity garden with a three-story rock waterfall, a tranquil pond and a path that winds through a pastoral setting. Softly illuminated after nightfall, the garden achieves a dramatic effect. A black-and-white marble entryway opens onto a contemporary lobby with expansive views of a rock waterfall and gardens. Two dining venues include Cassis Restaurant that serves continental fare, and the Onyx at the Grand that serves Starbucks coffee specialties and pastries by day, but transforms into a martini and cigar venue by night. Live jazz performs on a regular basis. The hotel boasts 30,000 square feet of function space that includes a 10,000-square-foot ballroom and an outdoor terrace. Wireless Internet access is available for a fee. The fitness center contains television-mounted cardiovascular equipment, weight-training machines, free weights and exercise balls. The hotel offers a seasonal pool. A gift shop stocks everything from Godiva chocolates to baseball caps and bathrobes.

This 25-story hotel offers 438 contemporary guestrooms brightened with earth-toned color schemes, coordinated bed scarves, and accent pillows. The hotel completed a renovation of its guestrooms in summer 2010. Grand Hyatt Beds feature pillowtop mattresses and 250-thread count linens. Comforts include armchairs paired with ottomans and magazine-filled racks. Accommodations afford views of the city skyline or the tree-lined Buckhead neighborhood. Marble and granite bathrooms feature water-efficient toilets. Room amenities include compact refrigerators and coffeemakers. Laptop-compatible in-room safes are complimentary. Guestrooms feature flat-screen HDTVs with cable channels. Fiber-optic wired and wireless Internet access is available for a fee.

Stayed for two nights. Room was clean and comfortable. The beds are very firm, but not an issue for me. Downstairs rooms are for those with pets and smokers. As there are no elevators, you will have to carry your luggage up the stairs if you want a non-smoking room. The breakfast was okay, but the breakfast area is small and can get crowded. There is a waffle maker, several types of cereal, danishes, breads, boiled eggs and instant oatmeal. About a 5 minute drive to the entrance to Stone Mountain.

I enjoyed my stay overall, but there where a few things that were a problem. 1 When you pay extra for internet in your room and you can only use one computer this information should be made known to the patron and it should be availible for 2 computers at least. 2. We went out the next morning and when we came back our bed they didnt give us fresh towels. Other than those few things it was good I dont know if i would go back real soon because of these issues.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Atlanta, NW/Wildwood was great. The staff was very professional, and very welcoming. This is a great hotel. I would recommend it to anyone.

"Great Location"
Hotel is in the perfect location: close to Atlanta, and within walking distance to several places to eat, etc. The gym is beautiful, the pool & gardens are under renovations at this time, but it's December so we weren't planning to swim. The best pizza place is right across the street: Buckhead Pizza Co. The shower in the room had the best water pressure […] ever. The only negative was minor room cleanliness issues upon arrival: beer bottle cap and nail clippers on the floor... everything else was great! Read more

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at the The Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta, Ga. I give this hotel 5-stars, because when my husband I arrived to the hotel, the doorman to the housekeeper was very helpful and courtesy as needed. My friend and I really enjoyed our stay here. I have high expectations when it comes to hotels and where I lay my head down at night, but I must say, I was pleased. I only had a few concerns...the hotel food was not good at all and was severely overpriced. I expressed my concern and after the management brought another dish to my room as a consolation, […] I just realized they just do not have good food. "Great Stay in Atlanta"
The Hyatt was walking distance to my destination the night I was staying. Raining, they provided a umbrella. Only issue was the concierge was not familiar with my destination and sent me in the wrong direction. Not a big issue, and overall, a very enjoyable stay. Nice, well equiped fitness center, including small maps for runners.

Excellent hotel! Very nice all throughout. Theres a romantic Japanese Tea Garden and nice bar downstairs. The room was huge for a standard room. The staff was great and offered any help, directions, and suggestions we needed since we were out of town. I stay in alot of nice hotels, and this is one of the best.

I reserved a room with two queen beds and all they had when I got there was a room with one king. It said I was going to have a room with a city view but that consisted of leaning against the window so you could see it. Disappointed with reservation.

Wonderful hotel, clean, great amenities, attentive staff. Only knock I would give it is my room was right off the elevators and I could hear people slamming doors because of the automatic closers on the room doors. Other than that the stay was very comfortable and definitely in a great location being located in Buckhead.

"Great Pool"
My husband and I just wanted a quick weekend getaway, so we chose the Grand Hyatt because I had heard great things about the pool. So glad we chose this hotel! We loved that there was a grill/bar outside with a wait staff that would come to our lounge chairs, fun music and just a great vibe overall. We spent more time at the hotel than we did eating/shopping […] which is rare for us in Atlanta. The room was spacious and we were within walking distance of great shops/restaurants. Everything about my stay at this hotel was good but the service was incredible. Each employee that even had athe smallest role to play went above and beyond to provide exceptional service. The customer service training or exceptional personell hiring in this hotel is remarkable. Everyone including the housekeeping staff and security office that assisted […] me when left behind my toiletry items wanted to ensure that I had a fabulous stay. Sam the bellman, the young brunette concierge from Marietta and the young blond frontmdesk clerk treated me like I was their only customer. Even the gentleman my husband called to confirm that the pool had comfortable chasie lounges, full sun a majority of the day and poolside service (on weekends) was super professional, providing tons of information (like at what time the sun is blocked by the tall surrounding buildings). From the moment I drove up the level of service I received was superior. The bellman offered to have my suitcase taken up for me - such a nice gesture when you've been traveling and are tired of lugging around your suitcase. When they delivered it to me, the gentleman graciously set up my suitcase for me, offered to get ice and although I declined he […] proceeded to show me where it was along with the emergency exit. The room was extremely comfortable - great view, marble bathroom and ipod player which is always a plus! The food and drinks were amazing - I ordered a peach-cilantro caipirinha, white asparagus soup. Delicious! When I ordered room service for breakfast it was delivered 15 minutes before the scheduled time. The entire time I felt relaxed and pampered and would've liked to stay another night. Really loved everything about the hotel; comfortable bed, updated rooms, marble bathroom. My only complaint is there was long strands of hair in my bathroom, but other than that I loved everything including the service.

"Nude dancing ads in hotel book"
I was truly shocked to see ads for nude dancing bars in the hotel guidebook. I realize the ads are a necessary way of funding the guidebook, but there should be limits. I was personally very offended.

"nice but cold"
The hotel was really nice. The valet and concierge staff were extremely helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was very clean. The only complaint was the room was really cold. Even though we turned the heat on 80 the room temp. was 62. I would still stay here again. Loved it!

The rooms, the service, and the location was excellent. I don't think I will every stay anywhere else when I visit Atlanta. It is located in a very central location less than 20 minutes from mid-town and downtown.
