Was good, didn't expect the rug to look the way they did a lot of stains in the hallway towards your room. A lot of noise if you are facing the front of the hotel due to the window. Bed is comfy, pillows are good as well. Bathroom is nice but could be better.

From the time you step into the lobby, you will be disappointed - old and neglected. The room was not exactly dirty ....but clearly in need of some upkeep (stained floors / tiles) ; coffee maker was broken. Luckily, the bed wasnt lumpy / uncomfortable so you can sleep through the night if you dont mind the sight. Will not be visiting any HOJO hotels anywhere ever again.

Despite the fact that half of the guests checked out at 9 am they would not let anyone in a room until 3 pm; most hotels are kind enough to get you in a room when they are cleaned and available; not his place. The beds were not very comfortable and not enough blankets, carpets need cleaning. Mall in the area with a shuttle. On a better note the shuttle driver was a very kind man along with the gentleman taking care of the luggage. Works for a night after a cruise; certainly nothing fancy.

This was the worst hotel experience I have had in a long time. Pulled back the sheets when we arrived and there were crumbs and hairs in the bed. The staff was not at all friendly or helpful. Took one look at the restaurant and turned around and went the other way. Skip this place!

seriously oversold and priced. I was actually wondering if the hotel staff could be less accommodating. The restaurant is simply terrible. I've experienced two different bartenders both were on the phone when taking my order. This is not an individual experience. restaurant was slow and so were the drinks. All because the staff had other things to do than work. This is pretty bad.

I paid to Expedia for a Penthouse room and the hotel gave me a regular room. Clogged bathtub drain. The carpet in the hallway looks old and dirty. Roaches were found in the closet. I will not recommend this hotel to a friend.

It is a good and a comfortable hotel. I would like it to have microwaves and frigos in rooms and breackfast station included. It must clean the carpet from corridors. All other was ok.

The hotel needs all new carpet and a remodel. The shuttle was not available from 7:30pm until 9:30 pm and we arrived at 7:45pm.

When I got at my room my bad was dirty. The cover had dark spots and the sheet was full of hair. The bathroom was full of hair as wells, looks nobody went there to clean up for the next guest. And everything smelled like a wet carpet. The pillow is not comfortable and the bed is too small for a couple. I definitely doesn't recommend to anyone. The rate is too expensive for a bad quality hotel. For a couple more dollars you can have a great stay on Hilton and we can not compare the quality. If I could I will give a 0 to this Hotel.

Room wasn't too clean, and breakfast was not included at $130.00 per night! We missed the shuttle to the Hotel due to a mis-understanding, and had to take a taxi from the airport. What had been promised to be a $29.00 fare, turned out to be a $40.00 fare! I wouldnot choose to stay here again!

This hotel was very run down and I will never choose this hotel again! Way to over priced for the condition. The shuttle only runs once an hour and it did not start early enough for our flight. Also if you don't speak Spanish don't waste your time. I felt like they did not have time for us because we spoke English!

Room was fine but common areas were old and dirty. Old tube tv in room with bad picture. I got an important package delivered to me and would not give it to me until after 3pm. They said bell hop has key and won't open until then. I guess they help you to your room with your bags, but not for departure. Plus they charged me storage since it arrived before I did.

Even tough is advertised as an airport hotel, it is located ten miles away form MIA and the shuttle is only each every hour during the central hours of the day. At least it should offer a better shuttle service with many more frequencies.The hotel itself is old and the rooms are clean but not very well appointed. It could be ok as an airport hotel, but in that case it should offer more convenience in going back and forth. To wait one hour (in the central times of the day) in the airport, without knowing if the van will come, is too much for a hotel that is not the cheapest in the options.

We had to wait forever at the MIA airport to catch the shuttle and when he arrived, the ride to the hotel (which took about 20 mins) was scary. He was a terrible driver. The room was okay. We ate at the onsite restaurant and it was like a Swanson's frozen dinner reheated. We found a much better restaurant (off site) the next day. The ride to the airport in the morning was better. We had already booked at HoJos for our return and it was the same crazy shuttle driver. The first room smelled terrible but the staff was cool and moved us to a much nicer room. That didn't smell like cigarette smoke. A better shuttle ride in the morning but we'll never stay at another HoJos.

The Hotel when u enter is very nice. Everyone there speaks Spanish, so that's all u here. When u get to your room hallways stink like mildew, carpets are all stained. Hotel room is very old furniture was old and falling apart, was no end tables or chairs to sit in was not much furniture. also u could here everything and everyone in hotel, door u could see in hallway. Also if u want to go anywhere they do have a shuttle that will take u to mall or Wal-Mart, but there is only a few times then u have to wait six hrs. or more before they bring u back or u have to take taxi. If u need to use there computers, they don't have any, but they do use an outside provider which costs u 1 dollar for 10 min. and a dollar for every sheet u print. And it is not that close to airport. There drivers r never on time.

Stayed here over night due to a flight cancelation. Was able to have a drink & some food at the bar. It was good place just to stay for 1 night. Staff was very accommodating & helpful.

The hallways were dirty. The room itself was very old and the linen did not look very clean. If you need a cheap place to stay and you don't plan to be in your room much; this hotel may work for you. The hotel itself is very outdated and is in need of renovations and updating.

After being delayed due to inclement weather, I was hoping for a comfortable and restful stay at this HoJo but it was far from it. The rate per night was too high for the quality of service and cleanliness of our room. All the rooms smelled smoky, though I had a non-smoking room. It took too many calls to get an additional washcloth (eventually, my roomate went throughout the halls and found a cleaning person who gave her one). There was a large stain on the carpet in our room, one of the bed spreads had stains, the hallway carpeting looked and smelled rundown, and again, our non-smoking room smelled of smoke. This HoJo is about 25-30 minutes away from the airport without traffic. The morning shuttle left promptly at 8:00am; however, the night we were awaiting shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, we waited over 90 minutes. I wouldn't recommend this HoJo to anyone.

We chose this hotel because of its location near the airport, as we had a very early flight home. There was also a free shuttle service offered. This property looked "ok" upon arrival. Then I noticed how dilapidated everything was. Cracks in the walls, tile, furnishings, etc. It was not filthy, just very run down.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times in the past. Rates were good and so was cleanliness of rooms and friendly staff. During this visit, it can be seen that there is a clear need for upgrade to rooms . Also, although i stayed in a non-smoking room, the rooms smelt of smoke, maybe i didnt get the non-smoke room after all. If a few upgrades can be made, i would still recommend this hotel to friends. Additionally, staff didnt seem as friendly as in the past, maybe they were having a bad four days.

The hotel is listed as an "airport" hotel, but it´s actually quite far from the airport. For that matter, the Miami Beach hotels are also "airport" hotels. Everything is damaged in the hotel: the bathroom tiles, the showerhead, the sink, the carpet, the bed frames, the tv remote, the closet door, the safe, the lamps... need I go on? The noise from the highway is strong, and the single pane windows don´t help to abate it.

No laundry. Bathtub not cleaned until after the second time I complain to the front desk. Not cleaned the first two days. No ESPN. Advertised three HBO channels but only had one. Fitness room inadequate.No fridge or microwave in room. No free breakfast with my booking despite the cost.
