We stayed here on our drive from Anchorage to Denver. I have to say I expected a lot more "Quality" from this hotel. I felt a bit nickle and dimed over the little stuff and quite frankly it was enough to make me leave irritated. First of all, I didn't find any of the hotel staff very friendly or helpful. The room was sparse and looked out on a dirty […] parking lot courtyard. The airconditioner was loud and didn't work very well. The television advertised on demand movies but you couldn't actually order them and there was no HBO. The tipping point was when I asked my husband to run down and grab some coffee from the lobby and he returned with a receipt! Turns out they only serve complimentary coffee from 11pm - 6:30am and then they charge their guests!! I have stayed in many many hotels and motels in my life and every single one had complimentary coffee in the lobby! Not only that but they charged us $4.60 for two freaking cups! The final straw was tasting it and it was watered down and disgusting. We left and drove to Shell and got excellent coffee for less than the hotel had just charged us! Really irritating. I find it interesting that I am writing this review from a Super 8 that is clearly a motel not a hotel. Older, needs remodeling, etc., and guess what they have?! HBO, free breakfast and as much coffee we want 24 hours a day! And the guy smiled at me during check in! What a "quality" experience! Read more

I thought this was a good quiet clean motel. Nothing special to do here like no swimming pool . Gotta be 18 to use small gym. Internet was really sloooow. But was close to west edmonton mall and I felt safe here.

I am not one to be picky in any way about hotels.... But this hotel is an exception. We arrived and waited at the counter for service. When we got to our room and were settled we noticed our bed comforter had several large white stains.When I called the front counter I was advised that there was only one person on staff for the whole hotel and I was […] talking to her... Meaning I had to carry my comforter down to the front and get a new one. I proceeded to do this and was given a blanket as they had no more clean comforters. When I got back to my room and started making the bed I noticed several large black hairs on the pillows and in the bed making me believe that the bed was not fresh. Not wanting to deal with the poor service we just cleaned the hairs out of the bed. Our stay was two days on the second day after we were out all day and in to the evening we returned to our room to find both keys did not work in the door. We proceeded down to the counter and again waited for service to get our keys reprogrammed. The hotel however is renovated and in a good location but appears they are having some staffing problems. Like I said I am really not a person to tear a hotel apart or complain as i ussually stay in a truck stop hotel. The west harvest hotel is suppose to be a 3 or 4 star and it felt like a weak 1..... even a dirty truck stop motel experience blows this one out of the water. excellent - only one suggestion - new employees shouldn't be trained when it is so busy or there should be an extra person on shift to answer the phone when a new employee is being trained.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had booked a room in the business wing and found it very solid and quiet. The parking lot was a bit bumpy and the elevators could use some updates, but I was impressed by the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms and would stay here again in the future.

We stayed 8 nights. Unfailingly the staff was polite, helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. We travel frequently and this hotel is everything that the reviews say. We used the workout room and found it to be above average. It is not far from good restaurants and West Edmonton Mall. This hotel was great! Very friendly staff and great neighborhood. Very close to everything. Air conditioning would not work in our room so it was almost 80 degrees in there. No swimming pool but a comfortable stay. Room and bathroom were spot on clean and modern. Maid cleaned every day. Location was within 2 km of West Edmonton Mall. Many restaurants were within close driving distance.

The room was pleasant and clean but it was difficult to control the temperature and the air conditioner was very noisy. There were a lot of sketchy characters drinking in the parking lot. It was impossible to get an internet connection.

Pillows were flat compared to other hotels we've recently stayed at (comfort inn Calgary, and ramada Edmonton, and supper 8 Reddeer) also spent the same amount of money and there was no contennental breakfast at this place, unlike the others.

Internet wouldn't work even after contacting front desk and trying repeatedly. And room was too hot. Even with ac cranked for a day, and it being winter out. Rooms where nice and clean, would stay again if the Internet works!

We stayed here so we could visit West Ed the next day. Fantastic location! Clean hotel and rooms and good service. Despite being an overall fine place to stay, there was no thermometer in our room and the blankets were very thin. We had a terrible sleep because we were freezing.

Room was not properly cleaned, used items were not replaced for second night stay, and hotel was over priced compared to neighboring hotels for what they offer. We ended up switching hotels after second night. We paid simular for our next hotel and were happy with our stay.

It definitely is not a 3 star hotel. It's a budget friendly good working man's hotel. Hallways look like prison hallways. The ceilings were low so they felt like the were closed in. First room we were in the bathroon roof was soaking wet and leaking from upper unit. When you went to the bathroom you got dripped on!!!!! Whole room didn't smell very good from the moldy roof. We were changed to another room only when another shift came on as the first shift said they would have to send up their maintenance guy first the!
