Great place, we've stayed twice the past month. Airport shuttle. Good breakfast. Clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Bit tricky to get back onto I90W to Rockford, but do-able (ask at desk)...and call for exit directions if driving. Good bang for your buck.

The room itself has a nice king size bed, the bed is comfortable, and the room has a desk, lots of space and a warm shower. The man at the front desk is very nice, wants to make sure you have everything you need and goes out of his way to make sure you are happy, have what is needed for an enjoyable stay. I stayed in this hotel the night before going on vacation, because my flight left early in the morning. I was quite surprised at the quality of this hotel! Based on what I read online I wasn't expecting much, but the rooms were very clean and well maintained. I think they remodeled recently, as everything seemed new. From what I could see, there weren't a lot of food opportunities nearby, but when I checked in I was offered several menus to get delivery, which was very much appreciated. There is a continental breakfast, but I can't speak to its quality because I left too early in the morning. I was pleased with the shuttle service as well. When I arrived at the airport, I called for the shuttle and it arrived in around 20 minutes. In the morning, I caught the shuttle back to the airport. The shuttle goes every half hour to deliver people, which was perfect for me. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel, given its price and its reputation on other websites! I would definitely recommend this hotel to someone who needs a cheap night at a good hotel. Read more

first walked in and could tell it was a smoking hotel. got to the room, key wasn't activated. room was musty. left came back, keyw as deactivated again. shuttle was hit and miss, didn't run past eleven either.

For the money, this hotel was worth it...However, it smells!! You walk in the door and you are almost overwhelmed with the smell of stale cigaretts. It just reeks! This hotel gets the job done for a great price! It's clean and well maintained. The heater worked great for us (thankfully, 'cuz we were in the dead of winter in Chicago) My only gripe was that there are no microwaves or fridge's in the rooms. This was perfect for what we needed a clean inexpensive place to stay for our trip to Chicago. The continental breakfast was nice. There isn't much of anything nearby, but it was only about 30 minutes to down town for us.

The hotel was located in an industrial part of town, close to a lot of businesses in the Elk Grove / Wood Dale area. Overall the hotel was clean and maintained. Free continental breakfast was adequate with coffee, muffins and juices.

Be aware that they do not provide 24 hour shuttle service. They do not pick up between 11:30 PM and 4:00 AM. We had to pay for a taxi to the hotel --$20. The clerk was very polite and did contact the manager on our behalf. But they need to update their information. We stayed there because there was a shuttle.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Baymont. I have brought my boxer twice and the staff love my dog and treat me well and very, very friendly. The driver of the airport shuttle is very nice and helpful and opened the door for me when it was time for me to put my dog and his stuff in the car. Very polite. DISGUSTING!!! The bed sheets smell like someone wiped their rear end with them. The mattress is an old metal spring mattress that digs into your side all night. The carpets are so dusty they are covered by a white film of dust. The bathrooms are as dirty and moldy as many public bathrooms.
